Happy Fall

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Peachy Keen. Here are the details for this weeks photo inspiration challenge:

THE CHALLENGE
Create a project using the photo as inspiration. Interpret the photo ANY way you'd like, just be  sure to let us in on your creative process! The colors next to the photo are only suggested!
We'll be awarding "TOP PEACH" to the player who uses their Peachy Keen Stamps this week and  our two runner ups will receive a spiffy badge to display on their blog!
Guidelines:
- Design must be new
- Link up by 9/4 - 11:59 pm EST

And here is the card that I made. I used the colors mainly as the theme to my card.

I used Peachy Keen's September 2012 SOTM kit for this card and Peachy Keen's In Stitches Face assortment for the scarecrows face.
I colored the scarecrow with Copic markers and paper pieced his shirt. I added a strip of brown paper that I embossed using Tim Holtz's Woodgrain embossing folder to the under neath of his shirt. I also paper pieced the pumpkins and stamped the faces onto them. The little pumpkins I mounted on pop dots. To finish, I stamped the sentiment and I added some raffia and twine for a bow in the corner.

I hope you all will play along in the challenge and please don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's projects. Have a great weekend!

I have a personal GIVEAWAY going on right now here at my blog. Go HERE to enter to win a Peachy Keen Face Stamp set! Today's the last day to enter. I will be announcing the winner tomorrow!

I love fall! Your scarecrow card reminded me that I have the scarecrow cricut cartridge that I bought late last year and never used. Will definitely get that out. Really like your card.

What a cute Peachy card. I think that plaid paper covers all of the colors. I like the white highlights and the coloring is great. The straw look of the raffia is perfect. Great job!
