So Dog-Gone Happy For You!

Hello everyone! I have a quick card to show you. I LOVE these Yorkie cuts from SVG Cutting Files! I have a Yorkie myself and they are such little characters.
I cut the Yorkie from the SVG Cutting Files Yorkie file and stamped the eyes with Peachy Keen's Erkle and Merkle face stamps. I also pop dotted his beard to give him some dimension.
I stamped that fun sentiment using My Craft Spot's Cute Critters stamp set and added it with some brads.
To finish I added a ribbon with bow and some red gems to the side.
I hope you all liked my card and thanks for visiting. Have a wonderful weekend and stop back on Sunday for my 1st sneak peek for Peachy Keen's June Release!

Get Better Quick

Hello everyone! I wanted to share a card that I made for my DT friend Gwen awhile back. She had just had some surgery, so I made this card to cheer her up.
I stamped and colored the kitty from Peachy Keen's Mist Sue and Colby Cheer Up set but I changed the face using the Sampler Package of Faces that go with this set.
I cut the fancy mat using my Cricut and Elegant Edges. The flowers were punched and I added some buttons to the center and also finished the inside.
Just a quick little card, but it turned out so cute!
I hope you all are having a great day and thanks for stopping in!

Welcome To The Neighborhood

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week the challenge is "Welcome To The Neighborhood"
I created this house shape card for my project today. I decided to give it LOTS of texture and depth by using several embossing folders and pop dotting layers.
I created the card in my Gypsy by welding 2 houses together from Create A Critter. I embossed the house background using the Tim Holtz Bricks embossing folder and the door with the Woodgrain folder.
I cut the fence and grass from Paper Doll Dress Up and mounted each layer on pop dots. I added a brad for the door handle and a window box to the window. The circle sentiment was created by using My Craft Spot's Tiny Doily Dies and I stamped the sentiment and flowers from the Stampin' Around Spring stamp set. To finish I pop dotted the roof and added a Toadally Green Crinkle Ribbon bow.
I hope you all will play along and please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created! Have a great day!

Way To Go Graduate!

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at My Craft Spot and I have a card to share. I used the Lacy Banner DiesChunky Alphabet, and Tiny Tags stamp sets. I also used a bit of Black Stripe Ribbon. Did you know that My Craft Spot sells Ribbons and Strings? They can be found in the String's N Things tab on the upper banner.

It's that time of year again when we all have Graduation! I love making custom colored cards for the kids. I think it makes the card that more special.

I cut the girl from the SVG Cutting Files The Grad file and stamped her face with a Peachy Keen Moodies face stamp.  I created the 2013 banner by adding some Black Stripe Ribbon down the side and layered the circles. I created the circles using My Craft Spot's Lacy Banner Dies and stamped the numbers using My Craft Spot's Alphabet stamp set. I tied a bow for the top of the circles and stamped the sentiment at the bottom using My Craft Spot's Tiny Tags Stamp set. I spread the sentiment out long ways instead of layered on top of each
other and added some red brads to the sentiment box.

I hope you all enjoyed seeing my card and have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend!

Birthday Car Card

Hello everyone! I wanted to share this fun card with you. My friends daughters Birthday was the other day and she was going to be getting a new toy car for her Birthday, so this was the card that I came up for her. I even made the girl to match her!
I created the car card in my Gypsy using the car from B Is For Boy and welded 2 together. I also cut an extra front on blackout to layer behind the girl.
The girl was cut from the SVG Cutting Files Fairy Girl file. I liked the position she was in to fit into the car, so I cut off her crown and wand to make her a plain girl.
After everything was cut out and ready, I assembled the card by layering the girl half in and half out of the car. Then I added the blackout white behind her.
To finish I added some stickles to the tire centers and tail light. I stamped the sentiment from My Craft Spot's  Inside and Out Sentiments #2

I hope you all are having a great day and thanks for stopping in!

Get Well Soup Card

If you are looking for the Peachy Keen post, please see just below this one!

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot
This week the challenge is "Ribbon and Twine" Create any project but include ribbon and twine.
I made this get well soup card for my project today. I think this would be such a nice gift to give someone feeling under the weather.

I started by creating the card and pocket inside. Here are the directions on how to make one for yourself-
1. Cut a 5 X 10 1/2 inch piece of cardstock and score at 4 3/4 and 5 3/4- this will be your card
2. Cut a 7 X 4 inch piece of cardstock for pocket. Score at 1/2 and 1 1/4 inches on the 2 short sides and 1 long side. You will then cut away the bottom corners to look like this:

 3. On the inside of the card, glue you pocket in, lining it up with bottom of card cover. This pocket is the perfect size for a packet of soup!

I cut the rooster from a Lettering Delights file called Rise and Shine and used my sewing machine to stitch around the mat. Before I added the mat, I glued the Cream and Black ribbon from My Craft Spot to the card.
I stamped the sentiment from My Craft Spot's Feel Better Soon stamp set and mounted it with brads. I also added a button with some Vintage Cherry twine to the front.
On the inside I stamped the sentiment from MCS's Feel Better Soon and the sentiment in front of the soup from My Craft Spot's Cute Critters stamp set.

I hope you will all play along in the challenge and please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created! Have a great day!

Buzzin' By To Say Hi!

Hello everyone! It's my day to post over at Peachy Keen and I have this super cute card to share with you!

I LOVE these cute bee's! The file is called Cute As Can Bee and they're from the SVG Cutting Files store.
To create the card, I welded 2 of the hive's together to create the card shape and then cut the layer pieces. I cut the bee girl and stamped her face with a Peachy Keen Sweet And Silly face. The sentiments are from the Peachy Keen Honey Sentiments and I stamped them to banners that I tucked behind the hive pieces.
I am going to enter this into the SVG Cutting Files Anything Goes challenge.

I hope you all enjoyed seeing my card and thanks for stopping in! Have a great day!

Sweet Wishes

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at My Craft Spot and I have a card to share. I used My Craft Spot's NEW Ticket DiesPostage Stamp, and Ticket stamps on this card.

I cut the card base and mats using my Cricut and Elegant Edges. I hand cut around the middle striped band to keep the shape of the card and added a black dotted line around the scallop mat.
The girl is a cut file from SVG Cutting Files called Cupcake Girl and I stamped the face with a Peachy Keen Moodies face stamp. I also hand cut the banner from pattern paper and mounted it on pop dots.
The ticket tabs were made with My Craft Spot's Ticket Dies and I stamped the outlines with the Ticket stamp set. The sentiments were stamped using MCS's Postage Stamp stamps and I attached them to the card using a brad.
I am going to enter this into the SVG Cutting Files Anything Goes Challenge.

Peachy Keen and SVG Cutting Files Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to the Peachy Keen and SVG Cutting Files Blog Hop! If you came from Julie (aka Cricut Chick) then you're in the right place. If not, you'll want to start at the SVG Cutting Files Blog so you won't miss a thing!

Our goal for this hop is to show just how perfect a match the super cute SVG Cutting files and Peachy Keen stamps go together! So with that being said, here is what I created!

I created this fun pocket card with a seed packet on the card inside.
To make the pocket card, you will cut a 4 1/4 X 11 inch sheet of cardstock. Score at 1 1/4 and 5 1/2. Fold the center up and the 1 1/4 inch strip down. Glue down the sides and flap and you have a fun pocket card!
I cut that sweet girl from SVG Cutting Files file called Sunflower Cindy. I stamped her face with a Peachy Keen Moodies face stamp and added some white highlights to her. The seed bag is part of the Sunflower Cindy file and I cut the grass from Paper Doll Dress Up. I stamped the sentiment onto the card using a sentiment from PKSC-16 April 2013 Peachy Keen Stamp Of The Month kit and for the tab on the seed packet card. For the tab on the seed packet card, I only stamped the "Plant Me" instead of the entire sentiment.

Now for the best part! There are some AWESOME prizes up for grabs in this hop. All you have to do is leave a comment on all the blogs in the hop and you will qualify to win a $35 Gift Certificate to BOTH Peachy Keen and SVG Cutting Files.....EACH DAY! That's a total of $140 worth of prizes!

Baby Boy

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at My Craft Spot and I wanted to share a card that I did using My Craft Spot's Ticket Dies and Bundle Of Joy stamp set on. These ticket dies are so fun and versatile, they work with almost anything!

I used some Lemon Tart Trendy Twine to create the ball on his hat.

I stamped and paper pieced that adorable baby using the NEW Peachy Keen Hey Baby stamp set and added a twine ball made with Lemon Tart Trendy Twine. I cut the scallop and oval mat using my Cricut and added a punched star to the outfit. I also used my I-Rock to add some hot rocks for the buttons on the outfit.
I used My Craft Spot's Ticket Dies to cut the small ticket and stamped it with the outline from the Ticket stamp set. I stamped the "baby boy" and bottom sentiment using My Craft Spot's Bundle Of Joy stamp set. To finish I added some ric rac to the side and attached the ticket with a heart shaped paper clip.
