Jitterbuggin Presents

Hi everyone! I am still here, just missing for awhile! :) Actually shopping. And look what I got....the new Jolly Holidays Lite cart!!! I am so happy. I think the images on this cart are SO CUTE! Anyway, here is my first card I did with it. I cut the elf at 3 inches. The presents in the wagon were cut at 1.5 inches. I added some bling to the elf's hat, bibs, and some on the wagon wheels. On the big present I added a bow from a mini pack that I bought a long time ago. I am entering this into Jitterbuggin's challenge for this week which was a gift theme and add a bow and some bling. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Take care!

Snowman Gift Basket

Hello all my friends! This is a gift basket that I have been working on. I wanted to make some that would work for teachers, co-workers, ect. I found these super cute baskets at my local Family Dollar and new I wanted to do something with them. I did another one of those cute hot chocolate pillow boxes from Wrap It Up and did just simple sleeves for the cookies and popcorn. For the mint sticks I just tied a piece of yarn around it. The tag I printed off my computer with the contents of the basket. The card I included with this one is the Cricut free card that I did last week. You can find it here. I have 3 more different colored baskets, so I will post them as I do them. Take care all!
I am going to enter this into My Creative Times Imagine Nation Gift Challenge.

Christmas Purse

Happy Sunday all! I made this purse to enter into 2 challenges. M.A.G. Challenge By The Page, which was to use Forever Young page 72 only and for Paper Cutz which is to make something for Christmas but use LOTS of bling. I cut this purse at fit to page(6.25 inches) from Forever Young. I cut an extra handle and tab from glitter white paper and used jewels all over the purse. The sentiment is a sticker. I hope you all had a great weekend! I got my Christmas shopping at least started! :)

Throwback Thursday Cricut Free Card

Good morning all! Here is the card that I made for My Creative Times Throwback Thursday challenge. For this challenge you were to make a card without using your Cricut. These are my favorite kinds of cards when I'm in a hurry.....stickers. Stickers are cute and they are already colored too. It kind of feels like cheating but I think this card came out so cute. This was a sticker set that I've had for a long time, so it had the images along with the borders. The border I was able to use on the front of my card and on the inside. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!!

Mouse Hot Cocoa Holder

Good morning everyone! Isn't this SO CUTE!?! Over at Crafting With Cristina she has a challenge for making hot cocoa gifts. This is what I came up with. I almost did another mug one like on a previous post found here but decided to use my new Wrap It Up cart. I cut the pillow box from Wrap It Up at 8 inches and punched a hole in the upper right corner for my tag. I used my Gypsy to hide the flower cut in the center of the box. The mouse was cut at 2.5 inches from Winter Frolic as was the cup that was cut at 1 inch. The tag is also from Winter Frolic cut at 2.25 and the inner part at 2 inches. The snowflake border and snowflakes on the cups are a punch. I hope you all are having a great day!

Gift Card Envelope

Hello everyone! I saw a cute gift card envelope the other day and decided to create one in my Gypsy and this is what I came up with. I give lots of gift cards at Christmas and so this was definatly worth the time it took to create because I will use this pattern quite a bit. While I was at it I designed several that have different flaps for the envelope part. The front I cut the dog from Create A Critter cut at approximataly 2 inches and added the hat from Winter Woodland cut approximatly at 1 inch. I also added the sweater from the terrier cut on Create A Critter. I used my white gel pen for the stitching on the hat and sweater and also added a jewel to the center of the snowflake on the hat. The "to and from" is a stamp that I've had forever and the back Merry Christmas is also a stamp with just a plastic jewel. I hope you all had a great weekend! I am going to enter this into Bitten By The Bug 2 where the challenge was to use the dog cut from Create A Critter.

Snowman Holiday Card

Happy Friday everyone! Here is the 4th card in my holiday set. For this one I cut the snowman from Winter Woodland at 2.25 inches. I stretched it in my Gypsy to make it wider than it normally is. For the buttons I added some jewels instead of the circles. The frame is cut from Once Upon A Princess at 3.25 inches(it's one of the tags) and the sentiment is a stamp. I hope you all are enjoying this great Friday. I am excited because maybe tommorow I will have in the Winter Frolic cart that I ordered from Cricut Machines Black Friday sale. After shipping I only paid $22 for it....YAY! I've wanted this cart ever since it came out. Have a great weekend all!

Gingerbread Holiday Card

Good morning all! Here is the third card in my holiday set. For this card I cut the gingerbread man from Smiley Cards at 2 inches. The frame is from B is For Boy cut at 5 and 5.75 inches. Santa Holiday Card

Hi everyone! Here is the second card to my holiday set so far. I used the same concept as the penguin card but changed it a little. I cut the santa from Simply Charmed at 2 inches. The frame was cut from Accent Essentials at 3 inches. I used my Martha Stewart Drippy Goo border punch for the icicle border and instead of putting ribbon on this one, I put buttons on it. I am going to enter this into the Imagine Nation Monday challenge at My Creative Time which was to use buttons. Have a great day!!!!

Penguin Holiday Card

Good morning all! Isn't this card just adorable?! I decided to get a head start on making my Christmas cards and this was the first one I made. When I was at Michaels the other day they had all their Monogram cards on clearance for 30 cents for each pack of 8 cards and envelopes so I picked up a couple of packs and decided to use them for my Christmas cards. I used Simply Charmed for the penguin cut at 2 inches and Accent Essentials for the scalloped frame cut at 3 inches with the inner mat cut at 2.75 inches. The scallop border is also from Accent Essentials that I used my hide contour feature on and hid the circles that were in the center of each scallop. The sentiment is a $1 stamp from Michaels and so is the ribbon. I like how the non-traditional colors turned out. I hope you all are having a great day even though it is Monday! :)

Hello everyone! Todays card I did for M.A.G. Challenge By The Page's challenge for this week. The challenge was to use Doodlecharms page 93 only. I cut the dragonflies at .75 inches and the tag at 1.5 inches. I double matted the squares behind the dragonflies and used the shadow feature on them. I cut the shadow also for the tag which I added an eyelet to and tied to the bow. It's just a simple card but I think it turned out cute. I hope you all are having a great Sunday! Take care!

Simple Snowflake Card

Good morning everyone! Here is a quick card I did for Cricut Cardz Challenge Blog. The challenge this week was to make a card for Christmas using the letter S...snowflake, santa, sleigh, etc. I cut my card from Smiley Cards at 5 inches and the frame from Accent Essentials at 4.25 inches. For the snowflake I cut both the regular cut and the shadow for each layer. I also pop dotted the small layer and also to the card to give it lots of height. I accented it by putting a brad in the center and some jewels on the corners. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Take care!

Thanksgiving Scrapbook Page

Good afternoon everyone! Today I have a scrapbook page that I did for Crafting With Christina's Companion Challenge. This challenge was to get ahead for the holidays and make a Thanksgiving layout. The frame is cut from Storybook at 11.5 inches and the Thanksgiving phrase was cut from Simly Charmed a 2 inches. The 2010 was cut from Gypsy Font a 2 inches.
