MCS Sketch Challenge

Good morning everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot. This week the challenge is a sketch challenge. Created a card based on the sketch below.

Here is the card that I created using the sketch:

I cut the koala bear from a Lettering Delights file called Over Koala-fied and stamped the face with a Peachy Keen Cornies face stamp. I mounted her to My Craft Spot's 4 inch Metal Doily Die which I cut off the outer layer to make it  a bit smaller.
I added a looped twine border to the bottom of my card by putting glue on the back of the mat and then curling the ribbon along the edge. To finish I added a black stitched pen border and stamped the sentiment using My Craft Spot's Tasty Treats stamp set.

I hope you will all play along and please don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's projects!
Have a great day!

Recipe Greeting Card

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Peachy Keen! Here are the details for this challenge

THE CHALLENGE
Create a card using the theme of Recipe. Ever been invited to a shower that asks you to include a recipe for the bride-to-be? Maybe a friend or loved one is moving to a new home and could use a welcoming gift of a dish and it's recipe? Use your creativity to somehow include a recipe with your card!
We'll be awarding "TOP PEACH" to the player who uses their Peachy Keen Stamps this week and  our two runner ups will receive a spiffy badge to display on their blog!
Guidelines:
- Design must be new
- Link up by 10/2 - 11:59 pm EST

This was a really fun card to create! All of the stamps are from Peachy Keen's In The Kitchen stamp set except for the pot holder. That is from Peachy Keen's Sept. 2013 SOTM set.
I stamped and colored the stove and cut out the center panel on the oven door with an X-acto knife. I put some velum behind and stamped and colored the pot. I layered them onto the SVG cutout and so you could see the pot inside the stove. I used a sheet of velum to create the pocket for the recipe and embossed it with the Cuttlebug Poka Dots folder.
I stamped the circle sentiment and cut off the bottom to create a tab for my recipe card and pop dotted the pot holder and whisk onto the pocket.

I hope you will all play along in the challenge and please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created! Have a great weekend!

I stamped the sentiment onto a punched scallop oval using My Craft Spot's Happy Fall stamp set. I added a black dotted line around the sentiment mat and tied some more Natural Jute String around the card.

Pinterest Inspired Card

Good morning everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week the challenge is a Pinterest Inspired Picture challenge. Use this photo as your inspiration

And here is the card I created

This card turned out so neat...I just love it. It's so airy and fallish.
I used some pre-bought tags for the center mat and added some white stitching lines to them. I stamped and paper pieced the pumpkin onto the tags and colored in the stem and vines.
I added a big bow to the top with a smaller twine bow that I attached the tag to. I used My Craft Spot's Jar Basics Metal Dies for the tag and the Jar Full Of Fall stamp set for the pumpkin and sentiments. To finish I stamped the sentiment in the bottom corner.
I hope you will all play along in the challenge and please don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's projects.
Thanks for visiting and have a great day!

Peachy Keen and Timeless Twine Halloween

Good morning everyone and happy Saturday!
We are continuing our showcase of projects using Peachy Keen Stamps and Timeless Twine. These two make an awesome combination! If you missed any of the other projects, just head over to The Peachy Keen Blog to see more fabulous projects!

Here is what I created for you today- some FUN Halloween projects!

For the card I used a cut file from Too Cute By Jessica called Zombies and stamped the face using Peachy Keen's Monster Mash Face Assortment. I cut two 1 inch strips of black paper and punched holes into them and used some Olive Green and White Timeless Twine to lace them together. I mounted it under my other layers and stamped the sentiment using PK's PKSC-09 September 2012 Stamp Of The Month set.

I cut the treat tag using my Cricut and Tags, Bags, Boxes and More. I added a band of decorative paper and some Olive Green and White Timeless Twine to the body and tag pull. I stamped an colored the bat and sentiment using PK's PKSC-09 September 2012 stamp set. I used My Craft Spot's Tiny Doilies Dies to cut out the circle tag and attached it using the twine. To finish I added a mini candy bar to the inside.

I hope you liked my projects today and are inspired to go create something yourself! Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend!

She's such a happy little monster! LOL!

I cut the monster girl from KaDoodle Bug's Monster Bash Girls file and stamped her face with a Peachy Keen Moodies face stamp. They are so fun and awesome!
I cut the ticket out using the Ticket Metal Dies and stamped the edge with the Ticket Stamp set. The sentiment is stamped from Inside and Out Set 2. I tied a double bow using Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine and added it to the tag.

Give Me A Buzzz

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week the challenge is "Favorite Technique".
One of my FAVORITE techniques to do when I create a card is to DOODLE! I love how the extra pen work adds so much to a plain cut.

I cut that adorable bee from KaDoodle Bug Designs Sweet As Can Bee cut file. I stamped the face with a Peachy Keen Sweet And Silly Face stamp and added some white doodles to it. I did a black stitched line around the mat and added some banners that I cut using My Craft Spot's Tiny Banners and Lacy Banner Dies. To finish I stamped the sentiment using My Craft Spot's Down On The Farm stamp set.
I hope you will all play along and please don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's projects! Have a great day!

Peachy Keen Release Party Challenge Cards

Hello everyone! I wanted to share the cards that I made for the Release Party Challenges going on now at The Peachy Keen Connection.

The first card is for the challenge that I am hosting! The details for this challenge is to use any Peachy Keen Face of your choice and at least 1 Die Cut.
I cut that UBER cute costume puppy from the Costume Babies 1 file from Too Cute By Jessica. I stamped the face with a Peachy Keen In The Garden Face Set and the sentiment is from the PKSC- 20 August 2013 Stamp Of The Month set.

For my second card for Ambers challenge, you were to use your favorite colors and an arrow. I stamped and colored the fridge using Peachy Keen's New Retro Fridge stamp set. I used my sewing machine to do a stitched line around and added an arrow that I cut from SVG Cutting Files Tons Of Arrows
I wanted my fridge to open, so I used an X-acto knife to cut around the doors. Then I stamped a background piece with a light bulb and sentiment on the bottom and on the top I hand drew some ice cubes that I stamped faces onto.

I hope you all will play along in the challenges which can be found at The Peachy Keen Connection.
You can also buy all the NEW stamps NOW at Peachy Keen!
Have a great day!

Day 5 Of My Craft Spot's Fall Release

Hello everyone! It's the last day of sneak peeks for My Craft Spot's new releases! Tomorrow we will be having a BLOG HOP with the full release of the stamp and die sets! There will also be a new stamp/metal die set set up for grabs at every stop in the hop.

Today we are showing sneak peeks of the NEW Jar Full Of Fall stamp set. This is such a cute set!!!
I made a pocket tag for my project today. One of my fav things in the fall is Apple Cider :D
I used the Jars Metal Die to cut out 2 jars. I colored the apple cider using Copic markers and stamped the sentiment and apple using the Jar Full Of Fall stamp set. I created the pocket in my tag buy cutting a line at the top and slid the Apple Cider drink stick in the hole. Then I pop dotted the 2 jars together and added the straw that was also stamped from this new set.
I created a simple band to go around the bottle of water and stamped apples onto it using a Versa Mark stamp pad and attached it to the tag using some Cranberry Crinkle Ribbon.

Thanks so much for visiting all week long for the sneak peeks! I hope you enjoyed all the projects I shared this week and have inspired you! Make sure you go to My Craft Spot for the daily prize and come back tomorrow for the BLOG HOP! There will be lots of great projects and a stamp/die set will be given away at each blog in the hop! Have a great day!
