My Craft Spot " King Of The Grill" Challenge

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week the challenge is "King Of The Grill". Create any card for Dad!
I made this great "Dad" card! Masculine cards are really hard for me, but I think this one turned out OK. I cut the mats from Elegant Edges and the deer was cut from Car Decals. I embossed the left side with the Tim Holtz Tall Pines folder and the right side with the Textured Mesh. I did lots of inking and added eyelets the corners of the card. Then I threaded some twine around it and stamped the tag.
SUPPLIES:
My Craft Spot- Tiny Tags Stamps and Chocolate Truffle Twine
Embossing folders- Tim Holtz Tall Pines and Textured Mesh
Cricut- Elegant Edges and Car Decals

I hope you will play along this week and don't forget to check out the other amazing projects from the DT! I can't wait to see what you will create! Have a great day!

Think Pink!

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Celebrate The Occasion! This week the challenge is Breast Cancer Awareness.
My card is VERY simple. I cut the ribbon and shadow from Car Decals. I mounted it on pop dots to a scallop square from a Nestabilities die. I printed the sentiment off my computer and added a ribbon.
I hope you will play along this week and don't forget to check out what the other DT members have created for inspiration. I can't wait to see what you'll create! Have a great day!

Grandparents Day

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Celebrate The Occasion! This week the challenge is Grandparents Day. Create a card or project for the wonderful grandparents in our lives!
For my card I cut the grandparents from Car Decals. For each color, I cut a layer and fitted them together like a puzzle. For grandma's hair I used the Family button. It did not include the cut for her bun so I had to cut that one by hand. I added Glossy Accents to their glasses and to grandpa's shoes and added a white stitching line to his tie. The card design is very simple, just strips of paper. On green piece I printed the sentiment from my computer before I cut the strip.
Don't forget to check out what the rest of the fabulous design team had made for inspiration! I hope you will play along this week and I can't wait to see what you will create! Have a great day!

Senior Year Keychain

Hello everyone! It's time for another challenge at Celebrate The Occasion! This week the challenge is "Back To School".
I created this keychain for my son who will be a Senior this year (this is SO unbelievable! My baby is almost done with High School!) He LOVES football and the season has just started so that's what I used as my inspiration for this project.
I started by cutting a solid football at 2.5 inches from Car Decals out of a recycled cereal box to give it some sturdiness. I then cut the football, front and back and the layers for the front. The font and font shadow was cut from Robots that I welded together in my Gypsy. Once it was all glued on I added some white gel pen highlights to the letters. Then I ran it through the laminator on my Your Story. I was kind of disappointed how it wrinkled and didn't all laminate correctly. So I ran it through twice. My only thinking for this is that it was too thick. To finish I punched the hole and added a keychain ring. Thank goodness for the Crop-A-Dile because it was really thick!
I hope you all enjoyed my project and will play along this week. I can't wait to see what you'll create! Have a great day!
P.S. He is ACTUALLY using it too! He made a smart comment about my laminating skills and then put it on his keychain! :) This makes me happy because I know that he actually liked it! LOL!

Flip Flop Fun!

Hello everyone! It's time for another challenge at Celebrate The Occasion! This week the challenge is Celebrate Summer and you must include a SUN somewhere in your project.
I made up a name for my cute little tote...Tip Top Toenail Tote! HEE HEE! One of my favorite things about summer is showing off my painted toenails and flip flops! So this is what I made for my project.

I cut the tote at fit to page from Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More and tore a piece of kraft paper for the sand after I printed the sentiment off my computer. The sun was printed and cut at 1.5 inches from Imagine More and I mounted it with pop dots. The tag I made using Doodlecharms cut at 2.5 inches and the mats were cut at 2.25 and 2. The flip flops were cut from Car Decals at 2 inches. I attatched the tag to a piece of twine and tied it around the bag. To finish I added the toenail goodies. I hope you liked my project and will play along this week at CTO! I can't wait to see what you'll create! Have fun!
I am also going to enter this into Fantabulous Cricuts challenge were the challenge is to add a sun to your project and to Two Scraptastic Gals CCCC challenge which is to use Tags, Bags, Boxes and More.

Celebrate The Occasion Fathers Day Card

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Celebrate The Occasion! This week the challenge is Fathers Day. I just got Car Decals and knew that I wanted to cut this cool golf cart out. I cut the golf cart at 2.5 inches in 3 layers. A black, white, and gray. I then trimmed around each piece until it layered the way I wanted. The golfer was also cut at 2.5 inches. I used my Gypsy to hide all the cuts on him so I just had a blackout and cut that out of the striped pattern paper. I then cut the black outline and a flesh colored face. For the background I just rounded a piece of green for the hill and to finish I added a bow and stamped the sentiment. I hope you will play along this week at Celebrate The Occasion and I can't wait to see what you'll create! Have a great day!
