Elf Gift Bags

Hello everyone! I have some fun little gift bags to share with you today. These bags are so much fun to make and very simple too! You can find a great tutorial HERE on how to make them. They are perfect for little stocking stuffers! I plan on putting some mini hand sanitizer's and fluffy socks in each bag.
I used the new Peachy Keen stamp set for this project. I stamped and colored/paper pieced the elves and added some stickles to the girls hat. I mounted the girl on an action wobble and the boy I pop dotted....he was to small in the middle to put on an action wobble. I added some trim to the bottom of the bags by cutting around the designs from decorative paper. The tags were hand cut and I stamped the fun sentiments from My Craft Spot's  Mistletoe stamp set. To finish I attached the tags with some Caribbean and Hot Pink Crinkle Ribbon.
I hope you all liked my project and thanks for stopping in. Have a great day!

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot. This week the challenge is "Showing Gratitude" Thank you cards.
I made this pretty card. I love this color combo. I cut the fancy frames from Elegant Edges and the strawberry vine from Rock Princess. I used some crinkle ribbon with a button and twine center at the top and stamped the sentiment curving it around the mat.
I hope you all will play along and please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created. Have a great day!

Winter Is For The Birds

Hello everyone! Did you all have a nice Thanksgiving? I did...but I ALWAYS eat wayyy to much! LOL!
I have a card to share with you today that I made using the New Think Snow stamp set and the Lacy Banners Metal Dies from My Craft Spot.
I cut the bird from 3 Birds On Parade and stamped the face with a Peachy Keen face stamp. The background was embossed with the Cuttlebug Snowflakes folder and I cut a strip of paper for the snow. The trees I created by using the Lacy Banners Metal Dies. These make the PERFECT trees! I cut 2 in green and 2 in white. I trimmed the tops off the white and glued them to the tops of the green ones to create the snow. I also added some stickles to the snow and simple strip of brown for the trunks. How cool is THAT?!? To finish I stamped that fun sentiment.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping in!

Happy Birthday

Hello everyone! Are you all ready for LOTS of food tomorrow? I know I am! I love Thanksgiving!
I wanted to share the card that I did for Peachy Keen's color challenge this week:
I stamped and colored the bird from the PK-142 Lil' Tweets Bird-day stamp set. The frame is a nestie and I embossed the background with the Cuttlebug Seeing Spots folder. I stamped the sentiment from My Craft Spot's Inside and Out Set #2 arching it around the frame. I also added a strip of red paper that I did a white stitching line on and added some sheer ribbon. I used My Craft Spot's Tiny Tags Dies and stamp set for the tag and attached it with a bow.
Thanks for stopping by today and have a blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Bears

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week the challenge is "Thanksgiving". Create a project with a Thanksgiving theme.
I made an easel card for my project today. These cards are so much fun the way they open and the recipient can display them proudly.
I cut the bears from Teddy Bear Parade and their clothes. The hats and collars I custom sized in CCR from Paper Doll Dress Up. I added some gold marker for the buckles and trimmed down the boy's outfit for a little more detail. I stamped the sentiment and added a button with twine center to a raffia bow. For the inside and the easel holder part, I used the Tiny Doilies Dies and stamped the sentiment and pumpkin.
I hope you will all play along this week and please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created. Have a great day!

Christmas In The Heart

Hello everyone! Today I have a card to share with you that I made using the New Joy To The World stamp set from My Craft Spot!
I have to admit that I totally scraplifted this card! The design was so pretty and I knew this sentiment would be PERFECT for this card! The original card HERE was a stamped image card. I redid it using my Cricut!
The fence and light pole were cut from Mini Monsters and the birds from Straight From The Nest. I created the Holly branches and berries using punches. The branches were made using a snowflake punch that I cut into 3 sections then glued them onto the fence. For the berries, I used a small hole punch and added some black lines to the tops. The background I stamped the snowflakes using My Craft Spot's New Stampin' Around Christmas stamp set and cut a wavy piece for the snow. To finish I added some twine and jute and stamped the sentiment.
Thanks for stopping in and have a great day!

Snowman Hugs

Hello everyone! I have a card to share with you today that I did for Peachy Keen's Anything Goes challenge.
I just got lots of new stamps in the mail and couldn't wait to play with them. The snowman is a new Peachy Keen stamp that I paper pieced and colored with Copic markers. The snowflake is a punch and I heat embossed the sentiment which is from My Craft Spot's NEW Think Snow stamp set. For the snow on the bottom, I ran a strip of white paper through my Xyron sticker maker and covered it with some Sparkly Fluff glitter flock. To finish I added a brad to the center of the snowflake and did a stitching line around the card.
Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Baby, It's Cold Outside! And A WINNER

Hello everyone! I wanted to share this super cute tag with you that I made for a challenge at Peachy Keen over the weekend. This challenge was to "Make A Tag" and this is what I came up with!
I hand cut the tag and it's layers and stamped the notebook paper onto the blue mat using Peachy Keens August SOTM kit. The snowman I also hand cut. I cut an egg shape, squared it to the side,  and added the scarf. The hats are cut from Create A Critter 2 and I pop dotted the top one. I stamped that adorable face using Peachy Keen's Winter Wonderland Face Assortment and colored it with Copic markers. I added some Glossy Accents to the eyes and glitter freckles to the cheeks. The snowflake is a punch that I added glitter to and also added glitter dots on the background. To finish I stamped that fun sentiment and added a crinkle ribbon bow with a button and jute string center.
I also wanted to announce the winner of the Think Snow stamp set! Random.org chose #20.....

You're Snow Wonderful!

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR MY CRAFT SPOTS BLOG HOP, PLEASE SEE POST JUST BELOW!

Hello everyone and happy Sunday! I wanted to share the card with you that I made for 1 of Peachy Keens Release Party challenges. I just received the new November set in the mail and I LOVE it! These little elves are SOOO cute!
I stamped and colored the elf in the center of a 4 X 5 1/4 inch piece of white paper. I used copics to color her in and then added stickles to the white on the hat and leggings. I also added red dots to the shirt. The snowy background I created with chalk, a snowflake punch, and a piece of torn paper. I took the torn piece of paper and put it across the bottom and used chalk to color the lines in. For the snowflakes, I used a snowflake punch and added re-positionable glue to them, layered them on the card, and chalked all over them. I then removed the snowflakes and was left with the beautifuliy soft snowflake background. Here is what I used
The great part about using the chalk is that if you get some on your image, you can just erase it!
To finish I added some twine around the bottom and stamped the sentiment onto My Craft Spot's Tiny Doily Dies.
I hope you all like my card and thanks for stopping in! Have a great day!

For my project today, I made a set of 3 winter cards! These bears are so stinkin cute, I just LOVE them! I kept the design very simple to re-create several of these cards.
Each card I started by embossing the background with a snowflake folder and used my sewing machine to sew around the mat. The bears were cut from Teddy Bear Parade. The blue bear I left the design as it is in the booklet. The other 2, I hid the bear on the sweater and stamped the designs using the NEW Stampin' Around Christmas stamp set. I also added twine poms and tassle's to their hats. I used Holly Berry, Christmas Candy Cane, and Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine.I stamped each sentiment from the NEW Think Snow stamp set and used  a punch to punch them out. I added some more twine around the card and mounted the sentiments on pop dots.
Now for the BEST part! Each one of us is giving away 1 one the new stamp sets! All you have to do is leave a comment on all the blogs through the hop, and that will give you a total of 9 chances! I am giving away the stamp set I used in these cards...Think Snow!

Day 5 Of My Craft Spot's Stamp Release Party

Hello everyone! It's the last day of sneak peeks for My Craft Spot's new releases! Tomorrow we will be having a BLOG HOP with the full release of the stamp sets! There will also be a new stamp set up for grabs at every stop in the hop.
Today we are showing sneak peeks of the new Mistletoe stamp set.
I am always giving gift cards for Christmas and wanted a fun "wrapping" for them. I decide to give this a try and LOVE how it turned out. Not only does it hold the gift card, but you can also hang it on your tree!
I cut 2 of the stocking from Christmas Cheer at 9.21 inches. One for the front and one for the back. I lined them up and trimmed off the top cuffs. I used tacky tape and glued the sides together and added the snowflake and tree. I also embossed the toe and cuff of the stocking. I cut a 2 1/4 X 4 inch piece of cardstock for the gift card and glued it to the insides, sandwiched,  of the cuff.
I created the tag using a tag cut from TBBM and punched an oval for the center. I stamped the sentiment and mounted it using a pop dot. I tied a crinkle ribbon bow and added a punched snowflake with a button and jute string center.
Thanks so much for visiting all week long for the sneak peeks! I hope you enjoyed all the projects I shared this week and have inspired you! Make sure you go to My Craft Spot for the daily prize and come back tomorrow for the BLOG HOP! There will be lots of great projects and a stamp set will be given away at each blog in the hop! Have a great day!
