Creeping Spider

Hello everyone! I just got home from spending the weekend up north and wanted to do this quick card for My Creative Times Throwback Thursday. This time the challenge is to use a card feature from any older cart and it must be a Halloween theme.
This card is SUPER quick. I cut this card from Wrap It Up using the card feature. I cut another top out of the web paper and trimmed an 1/8  inch off each side to get the mat. I glued a piece of chunky glitter cardstock to the back side of the card front for the spider. I tied orange and black ribbons to the side and stamped the sentiment which is from My Craft Spots Happy Haunting set. I hope you all had a great weekend and thanks for looking!

Grad Owl Gift Card Box

Hello everyone! I made this owl graduate box with Card Creations and More by C's So Saturday Challenge # 8 in mind. The challenge is to make anything except a card or layout. I know so many kids this year graduating that I wanted to do something neat to put gift cards into. I can't claim this as my own idea. I saw several things at Creations on Paper and put 2 of them togehter. For this box info I am going to put it into a list

1 pillow box cut at 7 inches from Wrap It Up

3-3inch scallop circles cut from Birthday Bash- 1 from gray cut in half for wings, 1 from white for belly, and 1 from orange to make the feet

3- 3/4 inch circles- 1 gray cut in half for eyelids, 2 white for outer eye

2- 1/2 inch circles for inside eye

1- beak cut from Hoot N Holler at 2 inches

1- graduation cap cut from Everyday Paper Dolls at 5 inches

For the diploma I rolled a piece of paper and tied a gold cord to it.
I hope you all like my grad box and have a great day!

Acetate Treat Box and WINNER

Hello everyone! For today I have a cute little treat box that I made for Always Crafting's Whimsical Wednesday Challenge. The challenge is to make your own embellishment. I cut a pillow box out of acetate from Wrap It Up at 5 inches hiding the decorative cutout with my Gypsy. I then embossed it with Sizzix's hearts folder. It's hard to see in the pictures but I did take a close up shot that you can kinda see. I filled it with M&M's and tied a ribbon around it. I then made the flower with different sized flowers from Paisley. The white layer I embossed with Swiss Dots and chalked over with a pale pink. The center brad I made using my I-Top and some pink fleece. I hand wrote the tag and attached it to the flower.
I also have the winner of the BE MINE BLOG HOP. Random.org chose #7 Bunny Freak!
Congrats Bunny Freak! I have your email address and will be contacting you. Thank you everyone for all the wonderful comments and have a beautiful VALENTINES DAY!

Flaunt It Fridays #4

Hi everyone! Flaunt It Fridays challenge this week was the turtle from Create A Critter and this is what I came up with. Valentines Day is just around the corner and I thought this would make a cute treat bag. I cut the bag from Wrap It Up at 5X10 inches. I stretched it to get this wider bag. I then cut 2 hearts from Sweet Treats and put stickles dots around the edges. For the turtle I hid the circles in the shell and replaced them with the same heart from Sweet Treats and filled them in with stickles. I also wrapped the handle with decorative ribbon. I think this turned out so cute! I hope you all are having a great day!!!

JOY Snowman

Hi everyone! Here is a card that I made for several challenges. I cut the snowman from Christmas Cheer at 3.5 inches and the snowflakes from Wrap It Up at 1 inch. I chalked around the edges of the snowman, scarf, and snowflakes with blue. Then I used my alphabet stamp set to stamp the letters J O and Y. I tied a piece of string around the snowman's hands and pop dotted the snowflakes to the snowman. I also embossed snowflakes on the white backround with my Cuttlebug and added a matching strip of pattern paper on the inside. I am entering this into the following challenges:
1. Paper Playtime- Snowmen
2. Cricut Cardz- Christmas card with mini banner
3. Paper Cutz- Snowman or snowflakes

Fantabulous Cricut #39 Santa Gift Basket

Hello everyone! I have been working on my gift baskets and this is another one. For this one I used Doodlecharms for the santa and the reindeer. I used Wrap It Up for the pillow box that has the hot chocolate inside and I made a bag for the tootsie rolls with an acetate window. For the cookie packs I made simple sleeves and just tied a ribbon around the mint stir sticks. I am going to enter this into Fantabulous Cricuts weekly challenge which is to make a gift or gift packaging.

Snowman Gift Basket

Hello all my friends! This is a gift basket that I have been working on. I wanted to make some that would work for teachers, co-workers, ect. I found these super cute baskets at my local Family Dollar and new I wanted to do something with them. I did another one of those cute hot chocolate pillow boxes from Wrap It Up and did just simple sleeves for the cookies and popcorn. For the mint sticks I just tied a piece of yarn around it. The tag I printed off my computer with the contents of the basket. The card I included with this one is the Cricut free card that I did last week. You can find it here. I have 3 more different colored baskets, so I will post them as I do them. Take care all!
I am going to enter this into My Creative Times Imagine Nation Gift Challenge.

Mouse Hot Cocoa Holder

Good morning everyone! Isn't this SO CUTE!?! Over at Crafting With Cristina she has a challenge for making hot cocoa gifts. This is what I came up with. I almost did another mug one like on a previous post found here but decided to use my new Wrap It Up cart. I cut the pillow box from Wrap It Up at 8 inches and punched a hole in the upper right corner for my tag. I used my Gypsy to hide the flower cut in the center of the box. The mouse was cut at 2.5 inches from Winter Frolic as was the cup that was cut at 1 inch. The tag is also from Winter Frolic cut at 2.25 and the inner part at 2 inches. The snowflake border and snowflakes on the cups are a punch. I hope you all are having a great day!
