Sending Easter Blessings

Hello everyone! It's that time of the month again when a new sketch challenge goes up a Peachy Keen. Here is the sketch we are working with for this challenge and HERE is where you can find the Linky.

WHY is is upside down you ask? Well, I just wanted to show you how I interpreted this sketch. I turned it upside down LOL!

And here is my card

This little bunny girl is one of my all time fav stamps from Peachy Keens PKSC-15 March 2013 stamp set.
I stamped and colored her with Copic Markers and I also paper pieced the ears, belly, cuffs, feet, and tail. I stamped and colored the bow in this set and added it to her one ear.
Her face is stamped with Peachy Keens Sweet and Innocent face stamps. HOW cute is that face on her?!
I cut the grass and fence with my Cameo and added that to the bottom of my card. The sentiment banner is cut using My Craft Spot's Ribbon Banner Dies and I stamped the sentiment using the PK March 2013 stamp set.

I hope you all liked my card and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

Sunshine To Brighten Your Day!

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing a project that I was inspired to make after seeing Barb from Bug Bites super cute Pig Treat bag that can be seen HERE. She used the new JB Ticket Die to create her bag and topper and I thought that was such a great idea that I wanted to give it a go.

SO here is what I came up with!

I started by creating a backer for my treat bag. I did this by cutting the solid square from Jaded Blossom's Layered Frame and Journal Die set. The front topper was cut using the JB Candy Wrap Dies as well as the covers on the candy.
I stamped and colored the sun from the Kawaii Candies stamp set and glued them to the candy. I put them in a 3 X 4 Clear bag and stapled it to the backer.
I stamped the sentiment onto the topper using Peachy Keen's February 2014 SOTM set. The sun was cut from SVG Cutting Files My Little Ladybug file. This is actually a cut for a flower, but I thought it made a great looking sun. I stamped the sun's face using the Peachy Keen Kawaii faces and added it with pop dots. Then I glued the topper to the front of the bag.

I hope you liked my project and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

Laid Any Good Eggs Lately?

Hello everyone! I have a cute project to share with you today. I can NOT get enough of these cute chickens from Peachy Keen's latest release! I have seen a lot of others say the same thing!

I made this super cute treat bag. These would be perfect little classroom treats!

To make the chick in egg, I stamped and colored the chick head from the PK Faceless Chickens stamp set. The chicks face was stamped using the Chickie Face Assortment stamp set.
The egg is stamped from PK's March 2013 stamp set and I used the new Herringbone Background stamp to stamp the design. I did this with Versa Mark ink and I cut the egg in half. Then I glued the chicks head to the inside of the egg.
The bag topper is cut using Jaded Blossom's Dainty Topper Die and I stamped the sentiment using the Faceless Chickens stamp set.
To finish, I added some Jelly Beans to a 3 X 4 Clear Bag from Jaded Blossom and attached the topper.

I hope you all enjoyed seeing my project and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

For Some Bunny Special

Hello everyone! I have been on vacation and am trying to get back into my bloggy routine! After 8 glorious days of sun and sand, my mojo had kinda taken a vacation too! LOL!
So today I wanted to share this fun card that I made.

Didn't this card turn out so cute! I love these fun slider cards!
I cut the Carrot Slide Card and Short Eared Bunny from SVG Cutting Files using my Cameo.
I stamped the bunny's face with a Peachy Keen 1 1/8 Inch Sweet and Innocent face stamp. I used the cut nose to cover over the stamped one. I think this turned out really cute and just something a little different.
I used my white gel pen to do all the highlights and added some twine to the carrot stem. The sentiment banner was cut using My Craft Spot's Ribbon Banner Dies and I stamped the sentiment using Peachy Keen's Somebunny Special stamp set. The inside sentiment is stamped using Peachy Keens Baby Easter Bunny set.

I hope you all liked my card and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

No Lion, You're The Best!

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at SVG Cutting Files and I have a new treat bag to share. I used the new Lion Gusset Bag Holder for this project.

Don't you just LOVE those eyes?!?!? These would be so fun for a child's Birthday! I added Animal Crackers, but you could easily add party favors to the bag instead.  The Gusset Bags are from Jaded Blossom.
I cut the Lion Gusset Holder and inked all the edges of him. I also used my white gel pen to do the highlights on his eyes and nose. I cut the sentiment banner using My Craft Spot's Ribbon Banner Dies Straight and stamped the sentiment using the Cute Critters stamp set.

I hope you all liked my project and thanks for visiting!

Heard You Flew The Coop?

Hello everyone and welcome to the Mid-Month Release Blog Hop!
We are sharing projects made using the NEWLY RELEASED stamp sets from Peachy Keen Stamps!  These will be available to purchase today! There are 4 new stamps- 2 backgrounds and 2 new sentiment sets that coordinate with the Faceless Chickens and March SOTM set.

You should have come here from Saundra's blog, but if not, you will want to start at the beginning at the PK Blog so you don't miss a thing!

I can not get enough of these adorable chickens and these new sentiments are SO FUN! LOL! I used the NEW CLUCKS sentiment set on this card along with the Faceless Chickens

I created the coop shaped card by using the SVG Cutting Files Dog House Slider Card. I just placed the door opening higher and added some strips of paper for the steps into the coop. I also added some shredded rafia for the hay she's laying in.
I embossed the roof with the Tim Holtz Woodgrain folder and inked it with some distress ink.
I paper pieced the chicken from the Faceless Chicken stamp set and stamped the face with the Chickies Face Assortment
I placed the chicken in the doorway and cut off the bottom of her to fit in the house and added a strip over the bottom edge.
To finish I stamped the sentiment from the new CLUCKS stamp set onto a banner cut with My Craft Spot's Banner Dies Straight and attached it with a brad. I also stamped the sentiment onto the inside card.

You're next stop in the hop is AMY CROCKET!

I hope you all liked my card and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

Cut Out Card Tutorial

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at Peachy Keen Stamps and I am sharing a tutorial today. I call this a Cut Out Card. I'm not sure if there is an actual name for this type of card, so this is what I call it LOL! I find this type of card very appealing to the eye. It has lots of visual interest and isn't just the same old type of card.

This is kind of a long post, so grab a cup of coffee, sit back and relax.

CUT OUT CARD TUTORIAL
You are going to cut your basic layers for a 5 X 5 card.
Card Base- 5 X 5 inches
Second layer and Inside Mat-( 2)- 4 3/4 X 4 3/4
Inner White mat- 4 1/2 X 4 1/2

For this card I used Peachy Keen's Home Tweet Home stamp set for the tree and Wright Avenue for the house and sentiment. I also used the Fiskars Stamp Press, Tuxedo Black Momento Ink, and scissors along with your paper.

Supplies

I started by stamping my images onto the white 4 1/2 inch mat. You can overlap them in this case because we are going to paper piece the images. I chose to color the tree trunk with Copic markers, but you can paper piece this too. I also used a Copic marker to color in around my images and added die cut grass to the bottom.
I stamped and paper pieced the house and tree branch and glued them onto my stamped mat. I also stamped the sentiment onto the grass.

Phase 1

Now we're ready to cut!
Cut around your inner white mat with scissors around the outside edges of the house and tree in the upper right corner. After the white inner mat is cut, layer and glue it onto the blue second layer and repeat.
And finally, layer and glue your pieces onto the card base with the fold being to the left side. Open your card base up with the fold to the left side and cut only around the front side of your card mat in the same way as the previous 2 layers.

Phase 2

To finish off the card, I glued the second blue 4 3/4 inch square mat to the inside of the card.
And there you have it! A Cut Out Card!

Thank you so much for stopping in today and I hope I have inspired you to try one of these cards yourself!
Have a great day!

Happy Spring

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at Digi My World and I have a card to share that I made using the Kawaii Flowers digi stamp.

I printed and cut out the flower from the Kawaii Flowers digital stamps. I colored the flower using Copic Markers and added some highlights using a white gel pen.
I used my sewing machine to stitch around the mat and along the punched edge border. I punched the border and used ink to highlight the flowers and a Copic marker to dot the centers. The sentiment is stamped from Peachy Keen's March 2013 SOTM set.
To finish, I added a ribbon to the small mat, the card and mounted the flower on pop dots.

I hope you all liked my card and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

The 2.25 X 8 inch bag is also from JB and I filled it with jelly beans.

I hope you will all play along and please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created.

I added a shamrock to the corner and that face is stamped with a Peachy Keen Cornies face stamp. To finish, I added a shiny ribbon and stamped the sentiment from Peachy Keens Kiss Me Leprechaun stamp set.

I colored the images with Copic markers and paper pieced the bows. The flowers on the girl bunny bag were punched and I added some tiny buttons for the centers. For the carrots on the boy bunny bag, I cut out 3 of them and mounted the center one on pop dots.
