Happy Fall

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at Digi My World and I am sharing this fall card. I used the Garden Girl Cindy Digital Stamps for this card.

I love how this card came out. I love making cards using non-traditional colors!
I printed and cut out Cindy using my Cameo and colored her with Copic Markers.
I added a strip of burlap to the bottom of my card that I also wrapped with raffia. I cut the fall leaves using the Jaded Blossom Fall Dies and attached it with a pop dot.
To finish, I added the sentiment banner that I cut using the Jaded Blossom Mini Tag Dies 2 and stamped with the sentiment form the Harvest Signs stamp set.

I hope you all liked my card and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

Monochromatic Collage Card and Tutorial

SVG CUTTING FILES POST JUST BELOW

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at Peachy Keen Stamps and I am sharing a tutorial on how to make a monochromatic collage card.

Here is a picture of the supplies I used:
Copic Markers- C0 and C3
Paper Trimmer

You will cut the layers for your card
Standard A2 Card Base- 4 1/4 X 5 1/2-White
Next layer will be slightly smaller than card base - Gray
4 X 5 1/4- Black
3 3/4 X 5- White

Next you are going to cut apart your inside white mat.
 With the 5 inch side up, cut at 3 1/4 inches. Then turn that piece and cut at 2 1/2 inches. This will leave you with a 2 1/2 X 3 1/4 and a 1 1/4 X 3 1/4
The next layer you will line up with the 3 3/4 inch side up and cut at 1 1/2 inches.
This will leave you with a 1 1/2 X 1 3/4 and 2 1/4 X 1 3/4

Now you will stamp the images onto the white pieces and color  the images with the gray Copic markers.

All that's left to do is to assemble your card
Carefully line up your mat pieces on the black mat making sure that there is an even line around all the edges and glue down.
Next, glue onto the gray mat and repeat onto the white card base.

And there you have it! A fun monochromatic collage card!
I hope you all enjoyed my tutorial today and have inspired you to try one of these yourself.
Thanks for visiting and have a great day!

Beary Sweet Rootbeer Float Card

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at SVG Cutting Files and I am sharing a shaped card using one of the new files in the Beary Sweet Line. This is the Beary Sweet Rootbeer Float and it will be available Friday.

I created the shape card by welding 2 of the base pieces together and then cut out all the layers.
I added highlights to the foam using a Versa Mark pen and a white gel pen. I also inked all the edges of the cuts and added pink to the cheeks with black freckles.
The sentiment tag is cut using the Jaded Blossom Mini Tag Dies 2 and I stamped the sentiment from the Soda-Lightful stamp set. I added a bow to the top to finish it off.

Check out the Beary Sweet Website for more Beary Sweet fun!

I hope you all like my card and thanks for visiting!

Aye Aye and now for the projects!!

So I am going to give you a little background on what my project is about. If you're familiar with Pirates of The Caribbean The Black Pearl, you probably know this already. For those of you who do not, this is for you :)
Captain Barbossa is obsessed with apples. Why? Because he can't eat them because he's technically dead or zombie like if you prefer. He wants to taste an apple so bad, it about drives him crazy! LOL! Soooo, that is how I came up with this project.

I started this project with the Candy Caddy Die. I embossed the front panel with the Tim Holtz Woodgrain folder and then inked over the surface. I used a black marker and traced around the outer edge to outline it.
I stamped and heat embossed the pirate symbol using the Jaded Blossom Pirate Candies and added it to a black flag cut using the Treat Flag Dies. I attached it to a toothpick that I colored with a marker and punched holes into the top of the Candy Caddy to slide into. I also punched holes in each side around the toothpick and tied it closed with some twine.
I cut out Captain Barbossa and stamped his eyes with a Peachy Keen Make A Monster face stamp. I inked all the edges of him and added doodling to him with a white gel pen.
The boxes were cut using the Card Mat Dies and I stamped the Apple sentiment from the Harvest Signs set and the Take A Bite from the Villains set.
I created the candy wraps using the Candy Wrap Dies and stamped them with the Halloween Candy Wrap stamps. I also added the apples and "take a bite" from the Villains Candies set.

I hope ye enjoyed me project! Click the picture to continue on ye quest!

Matchbook Halloween Treats-Tutorial

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at Jaded Blossom and I am sharing some fun Halloween treats along with a short tutorial. These are super easy to make using the Jaded Blossom Dies and they would be so cool to hand out to kids.

I kept the design simple so you can whip these up in no time. You can also change up the colors and add any kind of candy packets you wanted such as M&M's or Reeces Pieces. I chose to work with Skittles.

DIRECTIONS
Cut black cardstock at 3 X 7 1/2 inches
Score at 3 inches and 6 1/2 inches
Place your candy in the cover tucking it under the 1 inch flap. Then you will staple the flap closed catching the candy wrapper in between. Make sure to staple towards the bottom so you are able to tuck your flap in, but also make sure it's high enough so your mat piece covers the staple.

Now you are going to cut your mat pieces and add the decorations.
This turned out to be the PERFECT size to use with the Card Mat Dies.

Cut white with Card Mat Die
Cut second mat at 2 1/2 X 2 1/2 inches.
(I wanted the stitching from the Card Mat Die to show, so I cut mine slightly smaller than the 2 1/2)
For flap cut a 3/4 X 2 3/4 inch

Next I cut out the spiders and webs using the Halloween Dies and glued them on.
The sentiment mat was cut using the Mini Tag Dies 2 and it was matted in black with a
3/4 X 2 3/4 inch piece of black. The sentiment is stamped from the Halloween Candy Wraps.
To finish, I added a punched web to the inside of the cover. I glued it to the candy wrapper (this way it will fit under the flap) placing it under the flap.

And there you have it!
I hope you all liked my project and have inspired you to try  these for yourself!
Thanks for visiting and have a great day!

Gimme Some Skin!

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Peachy Keen Stamps. Here is the 2 inspiration photo's we are working with this month.
Remember, you can use one or the other or even combine the 2. Just make sure you explain in your post how you used the inspiration pics.

And here is what I created using the sketch and I also pulled some of the colors and patterns from the color inspiration pic.

This card was so fun to create and I just love how it came out!
I started by stamping the Zombie girl from the Faceless Zombie Kids 1 set and colored her with Copic markers. I stamped her face using the Zombie Face Assortment and I added her to a circle and scallop circle mat that I cut using my Cameo. I stamped and glittered the bats from the Cranky Franky set and added them on pop dots.
The sentiment mat was created by stamping the flourishes from the Cranky Franky set and then I hand cut the layers around the flourishes. The center sentiment is stamped from the PKSC-32 August  2014 SOTM set.
To finish, I tied some twine around the bottom, added a button to the side of the sentiment, and added stars that were cut using the Jaded Blossom Star Dies

I hope you will all play along in the challenge and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!
