You're Snow Wonderful

Hello everyone! I wanted to share this card I made with you. I had a "snow day" and decided to play with my Imagine! It is SO poorly neglected, but at least I have fun when I do get to play with it!
I have seen my great friend Cindy at Cindy's Scraptastic Designs use this background for projects and always thought it was so cool, so I decided to try one myself.

I printed the background at 5 1/2 X 5 1/2 using my Imagine and Snow Angel. I trimmed it down to the size of my card and added some punched snowflakes and pearl dots for the snow. The deer was cut from Campin Critters at 3 inches and I stamped the eyes with Peachy Keen's Cornies face stamps. I made the sentiment doily using My Craft Spot's Tiny Doilies Dies and stamped the sentiment with MCS's Think Snow stamp set.

I hope you all like my card and please come back on Saturday when I will have a SNEAK PEEK of the NEW Peachy Keen stamps being released this Tuesday! The sneak peeks will start on Friday and you can see them at the Peachy Keen blog. Have a great day!

I am going to enter this into the Whimsical Wednesday Winter Wonderland Challenge.

YUM

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week the challenge is "Wish Big" Create a birthday project.
I made this fun card to share with you! My Glossy Accents got a good work out on this one! LOL!
I cut the cupcake from Straight From The Nest and add glitter to the cherry and frosting. I stamped the face with a Peachy Keen stamp and added Glossy Accents to the eye, tongue and dotted the chocolate layer.
The banner was made using My Craft Spot's Lacy Banners and Chunky Alphabet stamp set. I wove some twine through the pieces and added bows to the end.
To finish I stamped the sentiment from My Craft Spot's Inside and Out Set #2 and glossy accent dots to the entire card.
I hope you will all play along and please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created!
Have a great day!

BEE Mine

A close up of all the glitter!

Hello everyone and happy Saturday! I have a fun card to share with you today that I made using My Craft Spot's Build A Valentine stamp set on. I did go a little glitter crazy on this card, but I think it turned out cute!
The card I created by cutting the bee hive from Create A Critter and mounted it to a card base. I then used my scissors to trim around it to get this card shape. I added a glittered heart to the top and stickle highlights over the entire hive.
The bear was cut from Teddy Bear Parade and I stamped the face with Peachy Keen's NEW Teddy Bear Faces. I also added some hearts to the antenna that I glittered.
To finish I added some gems and stamped the sentiment banner using My Craft Spot's Build A Valentine stamp set.

The challenge at My Craft Spot this week is "Bling It Up"  Use glitter/bling on your project. You have until Monday to link up and the prize is the very stamp set I used on this card!

I hope you all enjoyed seeing my card and thanks for looking! Have a great weekend.

Up A Tree

HOW CUTE ARE THESE BEARS?

Hello everyone! I wanted to share this adorable card that I made using Peachy Keen's NEW Teddy Bear Faces and the January 2013 SOTM kit. I just LOVE how this card turned out and my SIL is going to freak out when I give this to her! She has a thing for bears. LOL!
To create the tree background this is what I did:
I started with a 4 1/4 X 8 1/2 inch piece of Kraft cardstock.  I marked out where I wanted the holes for my bears to be and using the CENTERPOINT feature on my Cricut, I cut out 1 3/4 inch circles. After the holes were cut I embossed the piece with the Tim Holtz Woodgrain folder. You will have to do it on each end and it will not match up exactly. So what I did was I took my stylus and my mouse pad and embossed so that the lines would match up. After it was embossed, I inked over all the raised edges with some distress ink. BE CAREFUL with it. The embossing is really deep and it will tear VERY easy! After the tree part is all done is when I trimmed it to fit my card. The reason I did this is because of the embossing, sometimes it shrinks to much.
I stamped the tag, which is from the $1 bin at Micheals, and added it to twine around the card. Then I mounted it to a folded in half 8 1/2 X 8 1/2 inch piece of dark brown cardstock.
I stamped the bears and colored them with Copic markers and cut them out. I placed them in the holes and pop dotted their paws.
The tree branches were cut from Create A Critter (from the dinosaur cut). I cut 5 of them and used a Copic marker to highlight them. I arranged them around the top and the top corner one I mounted on pop dots.

I hope you all liked my card and thanks for looking! Have a great day!

Hello everyone! It time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot. This week the challenge is "Bling It Up" Use glitter/bling on your project.
And so....my Valentine quest continues! LOL! I told you all that I LOVE making Valentines! :)
I stamped and colored the mouse using a Peachy Keen stamp and added stickles to the hearts on the arrows and wings. The scallop mat is cut using the Lacy Circles Nestabilities Dies and the banner was cut using My Craft Spot's Lacy Banner Dies. I added eyelets to each banner piece and threaded some Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine through and tied bows to the ends. The sentiment was stamped using My Craft Spot's Always And Forever stamp set and I mounted it to the banner. To finish I added some red stickles to the heart.
I hope you all will play along in the challenge and please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT had created! Have a great day!

Fruit Trio

Hello everyone! I wanted to share a really quick and simple card set that I made. These are all the same design, just different images and sentiments, which makes them really quick.
Each cards lacy circle mat was cut using the Lacy Circles Nestibilities Die. The apple and peach were cut using Wild Card 2 and the strawberry was cut from Simply Charmed. I stamped the faces with Peachy Keen's Piles Of Smiles 1 inch faces. The sentiments are all stamped from the NEW Fruit Sentiment One and I put them on a simple banner. To finish each card, I added a button with a twine bow.

I hope you all liked my quick card set and have a wonderful day!

Peachy Keen 3D Challenge

Hello everyone! Today a new challenge starts at Peachy Keen! This challenge is 3D Objects: Bears and Bears and Bears Oh My. Create a 3D object and it must include a bear on it.

I created this candy box for my project. This is actually a really simple project!
I bought the gable box a couple of years ago from Walmart during Valentines Day, but you could easily use your Cricut/SVG file to create your own. The bear is paper pieced using the PK-159 Thinking Of You Bear and I added a twine bow. I also did some inking on it and used my white gel pen for accents. The top ribbon banner was created using my Cuttlebug stamp die and ribbon slider square. The "LOVE" sentiment is from the January 2013 SOTM kit and I did a black stitching line around it. To finish I added a bow at the top and some yummy candy inside.
I hope you all will play along and please don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's projects! Have a great day!

A Kiss...

Hello everyone! I have a fun card to share with you today! I love creating Valentine's and this one was so fun to create! I used My Craft Spot's Always And Forever sentiment stamps on this card. This is such a great set with the best sentiments!
I cut the dog from Create A Critter and stamped the face with a Peachy Keen stamp. The letters in his mouth, kiss, and tuft of hair were stamped using Peachy Keen's January SOTM kit. I heat embossed the lips to give it some shine and added the hair. I also used an Xacto knife to cut around his mouth to be able to slip the letters under his teeth. I cut 2 of the base pieces for him and then cut off his head and mounted it to the base with an action wobble.
The scallop heart was cut from Sweethearts and I inked the edges of the inside mat. To finish I added some Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine and stamped that adorable sentiment from My Craft Spot's Always And Forever stamp set.

Here is a short video of the Action Wobble in action

I hope you all enjoyed seeing my card and thanks for stopping in! Have a great day!

You Make Me Happy

I put him on an action wobble!

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot. This time the challenge is "Anything Goes" Anyone can play, but you have to use My Craft Spot stamps to be eligible to win the prize.
I decided I wanted to change things up a bit from Winter themed projects and instead used my FAV bee from Create A Critter.
I cut the bee from CAC and stamped her face using a Peachy Keen Wide Eyed Kids face. I did lots of pen work on her with both black and white pens and mounted her on an action wobble.
To create the tag I used My Craft Spot's Tiny Tag Dies and stamped the sentiment using Tiny Tags Stamps. I added some Black twine and mounted it to a Sky Blue crinkle ribbon bow.
To finish, I added a black stitching line around the entire card.
I hope you all will play along and please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created! Have a great day!

Snow Me A MAN

Hello everyone! It's my day to post over at Peachy Keen and I'm sharing this super cute card!
I used Peachy Keen's Snow Me A MAN stamp set to create this card. I just LOVE this snowman and the sweet sentiment too!

I added some twine for the mitten pulls and stickles on the heart.

I stamped this cutie and paper pieced the hat, mittens, and scarf. I did a little inking around the edges to give him a shadow and colored the eyes and nose with Copic markers. Before I mounted him on pop dots, I wrapped some Maraschino Twinery Twine around for the mitten pulls. I stamped that sweet sentiment and mounted the banner to the bottom. To finish I added a ribbon and bow.
I hope you all enjoyed my peachy post and have a great day!
