Peachy Keen Sketch Challenge

Hello everyone! It's time for a new Sketch Challenge at Peachy Keen Stamps
(See sketch above)
This is a really fun sketch with so many possibilities. And there's a great prize up for grabs! So I hope you will play along!

Here is the card I made based on the sketch above.

This card turned out so stinkin cute! I just love that cute little bee.
I followed the sketch above and created my card.
The striped paper is far back was stamped with the Candy Stripe Background stamp and I used my sewing machine to stitch all the lines.
I stamped the bee using the Baby Bumble Bee stamp and the sentiment from the Baby Buzz Sentiments into an oval I cut with my Cameo. I used a black pen to do the stitching line around the oval mat and added some stickles to the bee's wings.
To finish I added some gems with my I-Rock to complete the card.

I hope you all liked my card and will play along in the challenge!
Thanks for visiting and have a great day!

You're #1 Bus Card

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing the card that I made for the Peachy Keen Photo Inspiration Challenge going on now. There is a $25 Peachy Keen Gift Certificate up for grabs so I hope you'll come play along.

For my card today, I used the colors as my inspiration for this challenge.
Here is the color/photo inspiration picture.

And here is the card that I made. I just adore this super cute little bus!

I stamped and paper pieced the bus using the School Bus and Lunch stamp set. I colored some of the pieces with Copic markers and glued them to the mat.
I created the road buy cutting a strip of paper, inked the edges, and used a white gel pen to make the road lines. I also used a black pen to do the dotted lines around the card and mat.
The sentiment is stamped from the PKSC-08 August 2012 SOTM set onto a banner and glued onto the card.

I hope you all enjoyed seeing my card and will play along in the challenge!
Thanks for stopping in and have a great day!

You Light Up My Life

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing a shape card that I made for my SIL. She is the best Sister and best friend I could ever ask for, so I made this special for her.

This card turned out so super cute! I just love how cheery it is!
I created the card base in my Silhouette Studio program by welding the rainbow cut with the sun cut and then using the outline tool, I outlined it. Then I used the mirror tool to mirror it to the left, scooted it over a tad, and welded the whole thing together.
The Spring Rainbow and Happy Sun were both cut from Miss Kate Cuttables and I stamped the faces using the Peachy Keen Happy Lashes stamp set. I cut the sentiment banner using Jaded Blossom's Mini Tag Dies and stamped the sentiment from the Peachy Keen A Little Light Camping stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed my card and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

You Make Nerdy Look Good!

Hello everyone! I am sharing the project that I made to enter into Jaded Blossom's Monthly Challenge. This month the challenge is Any 3D project.

And here is my project!

I made this fun little lotion holder. I used the Chunky Square Tube Holder from SVG Cutting Files and instead of adding a tube, I added a mini bottle of lotion.
The adorable cat is from the Facebook Sticker Blog Hop and was only available for 24 hours. If you missed out on this hop or any other, you will want to become a follower of the SVG Cutting Files Galleria so you don't miss any of these super fun hops. We have them all the time!
After the box was cut, I added strips of blue paper to the top and bottom along with the dots. I did this by punching them with a simple hole punch and glued them to the box.
The sentiment banner was cut using the Jaded Blossom Mini Tag Dies and the sentiment is from the Kawaii Sentiments stamp set.
To finish, I stamped the star from the Kawaii Candies stamp set and mounted it on punched circles.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my project and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

Puppy and Turtle Cards

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at SVG Cutting Files and I have a couple of cards to share. Both of these cuties are NEW in the store today!

For both of my cards I started with the Simple Label Card Base. I cut the dog from the new Puppy file and added some white highlights with a white gel pen. I also added some stickles to his paw pads and nose.
I cut the sentiment banner using Jaded Blossoms Candy Wrap Dies and stamped the sentiment from My Craft Spot's Cute Critters stamp set.
To finish I added some brown twine and polka dot washi tape.

For the second card I cut the new Turtle. I used the Tiny Bubbles folder to emboss his head and spots. I used a white gel pen for the highlights and gave her a twine bow.
I wrapped some twine around the card base and added the arrow that was cut from the Tons Of Arrows file.
To finish I stamped the sentiment using Peachy Keen's June 2012 SOTM set.

I hope you all enjoyed seeing my cards and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

Key-Bored Card Set

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing a card set that I made using some of the NEW Key-Bored cuts from SVG Cutting Files. These are so stinkin cute, and SO fun!

The card base for all 3 cards was cut from SVG Cutting Files Bracket Card Base. I kept the design the same for all 3, but just changed the colors and cuts.
For the blue card, I cut the Punk-key guy along with his sentiment bubble. I added some star brads and black gems to the bottom.
The pink one was cut from the Geek-Key file and I added heart and white hot rocks to the bottom.
The purple one was cut from the EscKey file and I added purple and crystal gems to the bottom.
I also did a stitching line around each sentiment bubble and used a white gel pen for the accents on all the characters.

That does it for me today. I hope you all enjoyed seeing my cards and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

Mothers Day Gift Card Holder

Hello everyone! I wanted to share the Mothers Day gift card holder that I made. I can't believe Mothers Day is this weekend!

Isn't this adorable!?!?! I love how this came out.
The card base is the Seed Packet from SVG Cutting Files and I scaled it to be just the right size for a gift card.
The watering can and flowers are all stamped and paper pieced from the Peachy Keen April 2013 SOTM set. I stamped all the faces with the Kawaii stamp set and used a white gel pen for the accents.
I created the gift card insert by using the Jaded Blossom Gift Card Die and glued the flower to the top for a pull.
I stamped the sentiments on the outside and inside using Peachy Keens Female Floatin Frog stamp set.

I hope you all enjoyed seeing my project and thanks for visiting!
Have a wonderful Mother's Day!
