French Fry Box

Hello everyone! I have to start by saying that I have NO clue as to where the idea came from for this project. I saw the french fry box in TBBM2 and.....the idea was there and I just went with it! LOL!
The challenge over at Peachy Keen this week is "Box It Up". Create a box. Well, this is what I came up with. (Sorry, I can't stop laughing looking at this! LOL!)
I cut the french fry box from TBBM2 and added a band across the middle. I also tied a bow and added the tag that I stamped the sentiment onto. The fries I made by creating boxes that are 5.5 X 1/2 inches. I stamped the faces with Peachy Keen Retro Paper Doll faces and inked all the edges. Before I closed the boxes up, I added jelly beans to the inside. To keep them in place in the box, I added glue dots to the backs. I really have no idea where a person would ever use something like this, but it sure was fun to make! And even funnier to look at the finished project!
I hope you all get a good laugh out of my French Fry Box and thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

Flip Flop Fun!

Hello everyone! It's time for another challenge at Celebrate The Occasion! This week the challenge is Celebrate Summer and you must include a SUN somewhere in your project.
I made up a name for my cute little tote...Tip Top Toenail Tote! HEE HEE! One of my favorite things about summer is showing off my painted toenails and flip flops! So this is what I made for my project.

I cut the tote at fit to page from Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More and tore a piece of kraft paper for the sand after I printed the sentiment off my computer. The sun was printed and cut at 1.5 inches from Imagine More and I mounted it with pop dots. The tag I made using Doodlecharms cut at 2.5 inches and the mats were cut at 2.25 and 2. The flip flops were cut from Car Decals at 2 inches. I attatched the tag to a piece of twine and tied it around the bag. To finish I added the toenail goodies. I hope you liked my project and will play along this week at CTO! I can't wait to see what you'll create! Have fun!
I am also going to enter this into Fantabulous Cricuts challenge were the challenge is to add a sun to your project and to Two Scraptastic Gals CCCC challenge which is to use Tags, Bags, Boxes and More.

Gift Card Card

Good afternoon everyone! Here is a card that I did for Jitterbuggin and More Than Favors. For Jitterbuggin the challenge was to use brown and only 1 more color and a bow. For More Than Favors the challenge was a gift card holder. I cut the tag and envelope from TBBM custom sized in my Gypsy. I glued the gift card to the tag and added a ribbon for the pull. I also added a bow to the top of the envelope. I layered several flowers togehter with a brown brad and stamped the sentiment. Have a great day everyone!

Valentine Treat Basket

Hi everyone! Here is a Valentine treat basket that I made for M.A.G. Challenge by the Page. You were to use TBBM page 130 only. You are only allowed to use the cricut cuts on that page, no other even to decorate. I cut this box at 6 inches from TBBM. I added a fringe ribbon to the edges of the basket and for the image I cut it from the page shown above. All the paper is from K&Company Valentine stack. For the filling I cut strips of paper and crumpled them up and put them inside the box. I hope you all are having a great weekend! Take care!

Snowflake Tin Ornament

This is the ornament on my tree

Hanging on my light

A close up of the ornament
Good evening everyone! Isn't this ornament BEAUTIFUL? I really had my thinking cap on for this one! I made this ornament with none other than the triangle box from TBBM. I cut 2 triangle boxes at 4 inches wide in my Gypsy. The exact measurements were 9.72 wide X 4 inches high. I glued them together to get this triangle shaped ornament and put a piece of wire through the top for a hanger. I then traced each side of the ornament on to plain white paper for a pattern and then I traced the pattern onto silver metal sheeting and cut them out. Then I ran each piece through the cuttlebug to get the snowflake pattern embossed on them and then I colored the metal with my blue copic marker. Can you believe they color stayed on the metal and it only takes seconds for it to dry. These markers are AWESOME! Next I sanded over the top to get the raised images silver once again. I put each piece on with a combination of sticky tape and a hot glue gun. Then I hot glued silver beading down each edge to hide my seams and added a bow at the top. This ornament is quite large. It's about 7 inches tall. I am going to enter this into Fantabulous Cricuts challenge this week which was to make a home decor project. I hope you all are having a great day!

Poinsettia Gift Card Purse

Hello everybody! I made this cute little gift bag from TBBM cut at 8.5 inches. The poinsettia is made from layering 3 different sized flowers from Walk In My Garden. They were cut at 2.5, 2, and 1.5 inches. The tag I also used the same flower cut at 1 inch. I inked the edges of the flower with white ink and curled the ends. I then put it together with 3 yellow brads and put a few dots in the center with my white gel pen. I tied a white ribbon through the holes in the center of the bag and added the tag. The paper is from My Minds Eye O' Christmas Tree Stack. I am entering this in the following challenges
1. Made By Momo: Anything BUT a card
2. Peachy Keen: Gift wrapping elements

Throwback Thursday Challenge #5

Here is my card I made for My Creative Time's Throwback Thursday Challenge. You were to use New Arrival or if you didn't own that cart, any older cart would do. The theme was "baby". I don't own New Arrival so I used Doodlecharms for the duck and TBBM for the tag. Thank goodness Emma extended the challenge by one day because I was gone all weekend as I'm sure most everybody was either gone or busy. Thanks for stopping in. Have a good night!
