Happy Fall

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Peachy Keen. Here are the details for this weeks photo inspiration challenge:

THE CHALLENGE
Create a project using the photo as inspiration. Interpret the photo ANY way you'd like, just be  sure to let us in on your creative process! The colors next to the photo are only suggested!
We'll be awarding "TOP PEACH" to the player who uses their Peachy Keen Stamps this week and  our two runner ups will receive a spiffy badge to display on their blog!
Guidelines:
- Design must be new
- Link up by 9/4 - 11:59 pm EST

And here is the card that I made. I used the colors mainly as the theme to my card.

I used Peachy Keen's September 2012 SOTM kit for this card and Peachy Keen's In Stitches Face assortment for the scarecrows face.
I colored the scarecrow with Copic markers and paper pieced his shirt. I added a strip of brown paper that I embossed using Tim Holtz's Woodgrain embossing folder to the under neath of his shirt. I also paper pieced the pumpkins and stamped the faces onto them. The little pumpkins I mounted on pop dots. To finish, I stamped the sentiment and I added some raffia and twine for a bow in the corner.

I hope you all will play along in the challenge and please don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's projects. Have a great weekend!

I have a personal GIVEAWAY going on right now here at my blog. Go HERE to enter to win a Peachy Keen Face Stamp set! Today's the last day to enter. I will be announcing the winner tomorrow!

Peachy Keen and Flower Soft Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to the Peachy Keen and Flower Soft Blog Hop! Our goal for this hop is to share with you how FANTASTICALLY Peachy Keen Stamps and Flower Soft goes together!
Now, If you came from Dawn's blog, then you're in the right place. If not and you just happened to come across this post, you will want to start at the beginning HERE so you won't miss a single thing!

Here is what I created for this hop!

Don't you just LOVE that face...the way she's looking at the spider!?!?!

I will admit that I have never before used Flower Soft and I have to tell you....I LOVE IT! It made the COOLEST spider web! And it is so easy and fun to work with.
I created the web background on my card using a pencil to draw in a web. Then I went over the lines with the Flower Soft Glue and covered it with Polar White Flower Soft. I also decided to trim the side of my card down to make it have the web shape by simple cutting around the web.

I stamped that adorable witch from Peachy Keen's September 2012 SOTM Kit and colored her with Copic Markers. I stamped her face using Peachy Keen's Sweet and Innocent Face Assortment and pop dotted a punched spider to her forehead and added a line of Flower Soft down.
I stamped the sentiment to a banner and added a rosette with a spider sticker to the top.

There are some wonderful prizes for this hop! Kattie from Flower Soft is giving away 3 pots of Flower Soft (winners choice) and a bottle of Flower Soft Glue...a $25 value!
Peachy Keen is giving one lucky commenter a $25 gift Certificate to Peachy Keen Stamps.
Just make sure to leave a comment on all the blogs in the hop for the best chance at winning! You have until Midnight to complete the hop.

I have a personal GIVEAWAY going on right now here at my blog. Go HERE to enter to win a Peachy Keen Face Stamp set!

What's Poppin?

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at My Craft Spot and I have a card to share that I did using the Tasty Treats stamp set!

Don't you just LOVE that face?!?! I can't help but to smile when I see it :D

I actually used my CRICUT for the cuts on this card! I haven't used it in so long I almost forgot how to. LOL!
I cut the corn using Smiley Cards and stamped the face with a Peachy Keen Cornies face stamp. I used a Copic marker and a white gel pen to add some kernels of corn to him. I also tied some Olive Jute String in a bow around the bottom.
The popcorn was cut from Slumber Party and I pop dotted it to the card.
I stamped the sentiment using My Craft Spot's Tasty Treats stamp set and added a bow to the side.

I hope you all enjoyed seeing my card and thanks for stopping in! Have a great day!

ACHOO!

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week the challenge is "Get Well/Sympathy. Create a card using one of those themes.

I made this adorable card today using My Craft Spot's Feel Better Soon stamp set. This is the perfect sentiment set for get well cards and has a wonderful variety of sayings.

I stamped and paper pieced the dog using Peachy Keen's Howling Puppy. Some of my Peachy Keen DT sisters used this technique on their dogs and I just had to try one for myself. You actually "dot" the colors on using Copic markers. I think it turned out cute!
I embossed the background using the Seeing Spots Cuttlebug folder and stamped the "Achoo" sentiment by his nose....I think it looks like he could be sneezing, how about you?
I stamped the other sentiment onto a banner and added some tiny buttons to the sides. For the top pennant I used My Craft Spot's Tiny Banner Dies to cut it out and added another tiny button.

I hope you will all play along and please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created! Have a great day!

Looking For A Prince?

Hello everyone! This is my last post as a Guest Designer for SVG Cutting Files. I LOVED sharing my projects with you this month and I hope I will be asked back again.

Today I am sharing a card that I did with the new Roman Soldier file that will come out on Friday. This is another fun add on to the Paper Dolls files. These files are SO FUN to work with. You get such a great variety with these add on sets.

I started this card with the Wavy Card base and did a stitching line around it using my sewing machine. I cut the doll and hair using the Paper Dolls file and the Paper Dolls Boy Hair Add On set. I stamped his face with a Peachy Keen In The Garden face and pop dotted him to the card. The arrow is another fun file from SVG Cutting Files called Tons Of Arrows and I added that to the top of my card. The sentiment and heart are stamped using My Craft Spot's Build A Valentine stamp set and I added some Glossy Accents to the heart.

I hope you all enjoyed seeing my projects this month and thank you for all the sweet comments! Have a great day!

Pssst....Did you enter my GIVEAWAY yet? If not, go HERE to see all the details!

I Ruff You!

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at Peachy Keen Stamps and I have a card to share. I am just LOVING these new stamps that were just released this month. Those pups are THE CUTEST dog's ever!

I paper pieced the dogs using the new Peachy Keen August 2013 Stamp Of The Month set. I did some inking on them and stamped the faces using the Peachy Keen Happy Go Luck Dog faces. I cut the girls head off...EEK...LOL! and positioned it so it looked like she was resting her head on the boy's head. I used Copic markers to color in some grass and a white gel pen for the highlights on the dogs. To finish, I stamped the sentiment, added a bow, and added some gems.

I hope you all liked my card and thanks for stopping in today!
Have a great day!
