Christmas Fudge

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot. This week the challenge is "Christmas Neighbor Gifts".
I made these Candy Bar Sliders with a fun poem on them.

I found this tutorial HERE that I used to make the Hershey Bar Holders. I cut each one out of decorative paper and used a crimpper to crimp the bottoms. I cut the decorative mats using my Cricut and Elegant Edges, inking the inside mats. I stamped the sentiment using My Craft Spot's Christmas Friends and Neighbors stamp set. I added a glitters slide around and the sentiment mat on pop dots. To finish, I cut the tag on the ribbon using MCS's Jar Metal Dies and stamped the sentiment using MCS's Joy Filled Christmas stamp set.
I hope you will all play along and please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created.
Have a great day!

I hand cut all the large banner pieces and mats. I did a black stitching line on each one and added those adorable elves that I paper pieced from the PKSC-11 November 2012 stamp kit of the month set. I stamped the boys face using the Peachy Keen Moodies face stamps and the girls with a Sweet and Innocent face.
I created the rosettes by cutting a 1 1/2 X 12 inch strip of paper and scored it every 1/4 inch all the way to the end. I folded it back and forth and glued them together. The letters and scallop circles were cut with my Cricut.
The tiny banners and mats were cut using My Craft Spot's Lacy Banner Dies and I stamped those super cute images using Peachy Keens PKSC-23 November 2013 stamp kit of the month set. I colored each one with Copic markers and added a dotted line around the mats.

And here is what I made for my second project. I saw some people asking for Christmas card ideas, so I thought I would share this one with you too.

All of the stamps I used on this card are from the PKSC-23 November 2013  stamp of the month set. I stamped the stocking onto some fancy mats that I cut with my Cricut and Elegant Edges. I paper pieced the red part that I stamped with the Peachy Keen Cableknit background stamp and also stamped the bottom half of my card with it. Is that not the most awesome stamp ever?!?! I just LOVE that background!
I stamped the buttons and hand cut them out. I punched the holes out with a hole punch and tied some jute string through them. To finish I stamped the sentiment onto a banner and mounted it with pop dots.

If you are not familiar with the Stamp Kit Of The Month program at Peachy Keen, I will explain a little about it.
It is a monthly subscription that guarantees you a new stamp kit every month. They come in a 8 1/2 X 11 inch kit that is specifically designed for that month....always something new. Halloween Hanging Easel Card

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week the challenge is 3D Halloween. Create a 3D Halloween project.
I decided to try this hanging easel card and I have to say, it turned out pretty neat! It was alot of work though LOL!
I created the card and all the cuts using my Cricut. I started with an easel card base and then cut out the decorative frames from Elegant Edges. After it was cut out, I used the inside oval to trace onto my card base where it folds in half. Then I cut out the oval.
I cut the spider from Mini Monsters and stamped the face with a Peachy Keen Erkle and Merkle face. I punched a hole into the top and added some cotton string. I then layered the string in between the to fancy frames and mounted them around the cut out circle on the card base.
The spider web on the inside was cut using Paper Doll Dress Up and I mounted it on pop dots.
I stamped the "Be Spooky" sentiment onto My Craft Spot's Tiny Banner Die and stamped the Happy Halloween onto the inside of the card using the Best Witches To You stamp set.
I hope you will all play along and please don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's projects!
Have a great day!

June Peachy Keen Sneak Peeks!

Hello everyone! I have some Sneak Peeks to share with you from the NEW Peachy Keen SOTM kit being released Wednesday! These new stamps are SO FUN and CUTE...but aren't they always? LOL

For my first card, I created a tent card. These are super simple to make and you can find a great tutorial HERE on how to make one yourself. I thought this kind of card would create almost an aquarium look.

I used Elegant Edges to cut out the fancy frame and a file called Sea Life from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons to cut that adorable dolphin and the sea grasses.
I stamped the super cute goldfish and starfish from the NEW Peachy Keen June Stamp Of The Month set. I arranged the fish on the inside of the card and the starfish on the outside of the frame.
I used my sewing machine to do a stitched line around the card and added some gems to the water and sand.

For my second project, I made these fun Goldfish cracker treat bags.
I made the bag by following the directions HERE. I did change the way I closed the bag by punching holes and threading some twine through. I stamped and colored the fish bowl with one of the new add on sets and the fish from the June SOTM kit. I mounted it to the bag on pop dots and added the sentiment tag. The sentiment is a combination of the "Got Worms?" sentiment from the Peachy Keen Fishin' Frog stamp set and the sentiment out of the Fish Bowl add on set.
I will tell you that my Goldfish cracker bag were a little big, so I just folded over the top and taped it down. But they sure are fun huh?

Head over to the Peachy Keen Blog to see more of these super cute sneak peeks all week long! And come join in the fun on Wednesday June 5th at 6 pm CST at the Peachy Keen Connection for the full release party! There will be lots of inspiration, challenges, and prizes to be won!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping in!

Get Better Quick

Hello everyone! I wanted to share a card that I made for my DT friend Gwen awhile back. She had just had some surgery, so I made this card to cheer her up.
I stamped and colored the kitty from Peachy Keen's Mist Sue and Colby Cheer Up set but I changed the face using the Sampler Package of Faces that go with this set.
I cut the fancy mat using my Cricut and Elegant Edges. The flowers were punched and I added some buttons to the center and also finished the inside.
Just a quick little card, but it turned out so cute!
I hope you all are having a great day and thanks for stopping in!

Way To Go Graduate!

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at My Craft Spot and I have a card to share. I used the Lacy Banner DiesChunky Alphabet, and Tiny Tags stamp sets. I also used a bit of Black Stripe Ribbon. Did you know that My Craft Spot sells Ribbons and Strings? They can be found in the String's N Things tab on the upper banner.

It's that time of year again when we all have Graduation! I love making custom colored cards for the kids. I think it makes the card that more special.

I cut the girl from the SVG Cutting Files The Grad file and stamped her face with a Peachy Keen Moodies face stamp.  I created the 2013 banner by adding some Black Stripe Ribbon down the side and layered the circles. I created the circles using My Craft Spot's Lacy Banner Dies and stamped the numbers using My Craft Spot's Alphabet stamp set. I tied a bow for the top of the circles and stamped the sentiment at the bottom using My Craft Spot's Tiny Tags Stamp set. I spread the sentiment out long ways instead of layered on top of each
other and added some red brads to the sentiment box.

I hope you all enjoyed seeing my card and have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend!

Also, don't forget to check out this awesome sale at Peachy Keen!

Sweet Wishes

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at My Craft Spot and I have a card to share. I used My Craft Spot's NEW Ticket DiesPostage Stamp, and Ticket stamps on this card.

I cut the card base and mats using my Cricut and Elegant Edges. I hand cut around the middle striped band to keep the shape of the card and added a black dotted line around the scallop mat.
The girl is a cut file from SVG Cutting Files called Cupcake Girl and I stamped the face with a Peachy Keen Moodies face stamp. I also hand cut the banner from pattern paper and mounted it on pop dots.
The ticket tabs were made with My Craft Spot's Ticket Dies and I stamped the outlines with the Ticket stamp set. The sentiments were stamped using MCS's Postage Stamp stamps and I attached them to the card using a brad.
I am going to enter this into the SVG Cutting Files Anything Goes Challenge.

Thank so much for stopping in today and have a great weekend!

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at My Craft Spot and I wanted to share a card that I did using My Craft Spot's Ticket Dies and Bundle Of Joy stamp set on. These ticket dies are so fun and versatile, they work with almost anything!

I used some Lemon Tart Trendy Twine to create the ball on his hat.

I stamped and paper pieced that adorable baby using the NEW Peachy Keen Hey Baby stamp set and added a twine ball made with Lemon Tart Trendy Twine. I cut the scallop and oval mat using my Cricut and added a punched star to the outfit. I also used my I-Rock to add some hot rocks for the buttons on the outfit.
I used My Craft Spot's Ticket Dies to cut the small ticket and stamped it with the outline from the Ticket stamp set. I stamped the "baby boy" and bottom sentiment using My Craft Spot's Bundle Of Joy stamp set. To finish I added some ric rac to the side and attached the ticket with a heart shaped paper clip.

Oh Baby Mini Album and Peachy Keen Sneak Peek!

Hello everyone! I have a fun mini album to share with you that I did with the NEW Peachy Keen Mid-Month stamp release coming out on Friday! All of the sentiments in this book are from the NEW PK-197 Baby Buzz Sentiments stamp set. All of the faces are from my new FAVORITE face stamps called The Moodies. Aren't those faces just precious?! I LOVE them!

I cut all of the babies and accessories  from Baby Steps using my Cricut and all of the photo frames from Spring Holiday Cards. I stamped all of the faces using both of the Moodies 1 1/8 and Moodies Face Assortment stamp sets. On each page I added some gems with my I-Rock or stickers and stamped all of the sentiments using the NEW Baby Buzz Sentiments stamp set that's coming out on FRIDAY!
For the cover of the book I cut the fancy frame from Elegant Edges and the font from Robots using my Cricut. I stamped the face using The Moodies 2 1/4 inch stamp set and actually dug out my Bind It All to put it all together! LOL!

I hope you all liked seeing my fun Baby Mini and will come back on Thursday for the Peachy Keen Spring Fling Blog Hop! Have a great day!
