Have A Fabulous Birthday!

Hello everyone! Here is the card that I made for a couple of challenges. I used the Peachy Keen color challenge this week.
I cut the cake from Simply Charmed and stamped the face with a PK Happy Lashes face. I did some doodling on it and also used Prismacolor markers for the dots on the frosting. For the banner, I hand cut some triangles and added some twine to the top. To finish I added a black doodling line around the outside mat, stamped the sentiment and mounted the cake to an action wobble.

SUPPLIES:
My Craft Spot- Birthday Wishes Stamp Set and Pink Sorbet Twinery twine
Peachy Keen- Happy Lashes
Cricut- Simply Charmed

I am also going to enter this into Celebrate The Occasions challenge which is "Birthday"
Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!

Plant Smiles

Good morning everyone! Today I have a card to show you that I did for Peachy Keen's challenge. This week it's Anything Goes!
I cut the watering can and shovel from Everyday Paper Dolls. I added a handle to the watering can by cutting a strip of paper and folding it in half at an angle. Then I inked the edges, rounded the corner, and added it to the top. The flower was cut from Mothers Day Bouquet and the stem from Walk In My garden. I stamped both faces with a PK face stamp and added some twine with the tags to the corner. Those sentiment worked PERFECTLY with this card...I just LOVE it!

Guest Designer for Die Cuttin Diva's

Hello everyone and Welcome to The Cricut Bug! Today I am the guest designer at Die Cuttin Diva's! This week the challenge is "Summer Fruits and Vegetables".
I made this yummy card to show you today! I cut the pineapple from Everyday Paper Dolls. I decided to give it lots of texture so I punched and inked ALOT of circles. Then I glued them in layers over the entire pineapple and I stamped the face with a Peachy Keen face. The umbrella, straw, orange, and cherry were cut from Life's A Beach. I stamped the green flower background and the umbrella with a stamp from My Craft Spot's Butterfly Kisses stamp set. To finish I added Glossy Accents to the face, orange and cherry. I also stamped the sentiment, added some twine and mounted the pineapple to an action wobble.
Thank you for stopping by today and I want to say THANK YOU to the ladies at Die Cuttin Diva's for having me Guest Design there this week! Have a great day!

Purse Card Holder

If you are looking for the Fantabulous Cricut project, please see post just below.

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week the challenge is "Hot Summer   Colors". Create a project using summer colors.
For my project today, I made a purse card holder. I found the tutorial HERE if you would like to check it out. I just LOVE how this turned out and I want to apologize for the not so great pictures. This was really hard to photograph!
All the pattern papers I used for this project came from the DCWV Citrus Stack. The closure for the top and the pocket, I used velcro sticky tabs. (YES! That pocket really opens and closes! That's where you add the postage stamps) The ribbon handle I glued down using tacky tape and then added brads over the top for extra security. I tied twine around the center button and added the stamped tag. I also secured this down with tacky tape. To finish I added cards from my stash and envelopes to the inside pockets.
I hope you all liked my project and hope you will play along this week. Please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created! Have a great day!

For Eternity

Hello everyone! I have a gorgeous card to show you today that I did with My Craft Spot's Happily Ever After stamp set. I LOVE this set! It's so pretty and I adore the pretty flourishes that come with it. This card is being featured at My Craft Spot today if you want to check out my post there also!
I cut the wedding couple from Sweethearts and the decorative mats from Elegant Edges. I sized the couple very big so just their upper bodies would show in the mat. I assembled all the cuts for the couple, embossing her dress and adding tulle to her veil. I glued them onto the white mat and then trimmed them down from the back along the mat. I embossed the background, hand cut the banner and stamped the sentiment. The inside I also stamped with the sentiment and the flourishes in the corners.

My Craft Spot "Cool Treats" Challenge

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week the challenge is " Cool Treats". When I think of a cold treat, I see a nice cold strawberry margarita! MMMMM....SO YUMMY! LOL! It happens to be my birthday today AND I have fresh strawberries! I think I might just have myself a birthday treat!
This was a really fun card to make! I created the card in my gypsy by welding two martini glasses together from Smiley Cards. I then cut the inside mat and inked a soft blue around it. For the inside pink I cut another inside layer and trimmed it down, tore the top, and used a corner rounder on the bottom. I then inked it with black and then white to get that cool speckled look. I cut the strawberry from Paisley and embossed it and inked white over the embossing. The straw I cut by hand and added a line of chunky glitter for the sugar....gotta have the sugar! LOL! To finish I stamped the tag and added a crinkle and twine bow.
SUPPLIES:
My Craft Spot- Inside and Out #2 stamp set, Spring Moss Crinkle Ribbon, Divine Valentine Twist Twine

Aloha!

Hello everyone! Here is a card that I did for a couple of challenges. When I first got my Cricut, I just HAD to have Life's A Beach and have always wanted to cut out this hula girl. Well I FINALLY did it! LOL! So here's what I came up with.
All of the cricut cuts are from Life's A Beach. I stamped the girls face with a PK face stamp and used my I-Rock to attach the gems to her. The center on the big flower is a brad. I cut the surf board in 2 layers and trimmed around to get the inside piece. The sand dollars were cut and inked. I tore strips of paper for the sand and ocean and stamped the cloud background. The banner I stamped using My Craft Spot's Tiny Tags set. First I stamped the solid color and then the stitching stamp over the top. I cut the letters from LAB, glued it to the banner and added some twine.

Peachy Keen "You've Been Framed"

Hello everyone! Peachy Keen's challenge this week is "You've Been Framed". I just got into the monthly stamp club and received my stamps. These are THE CUTEST stamps EVER! So I just had to use them on my project for this challenge!
I made my own frame by cutting a solid 7X9 piece for the back and another 7X9 piece for the front. The front piece I cut a 5X7 square into the center and mounted it to the solid piece using pop dots. The inside mat I created by stamping the clouds and grass onto pattern paper. I paper pieced the turtle and colored him with Copic markers. I added crinkle ribbon for the hanger and some bows to the front.
BTW, the picture is of my son when he was 3. We just had his graduation party on Saturday and this picture was on one of the boards I put together. When I saw these stamps I knew I had to use this picture with that adorable turtle! LOL!

I embossed the left side with the Tim Holtz Tall Pines folder and the right side with the Textured Mesh. I did lots of inking and added eyelets the corners of the card.
