CTO Challenge #7 New Home

Hello everyone and welcome to another challenge at Celebrate The Occasion! This weeks challenge is "New Home". For my DT card I didn't use ANY Cricut cuts at all! Can you believe it? This card was super simple to make and I love how it turned out. I cut a strip of house paper from a 12X12 piece from Heidi Grace. I then punched a border strip and mounted the house paper to it. The sentiment I printed off my computer and framed it in pink and white mats. To finish I added a ribbon. I hope you all liked my super quick card and will give this challenge a try! I can't wait to see what you create!

Hip Hippo Hooray!

Hello everyone! Here is the card that I did for Jitterbuggin's challenge. This week the challenge was to follow the sketch, add a cricut cut flower, and use pink and purple. I cut the hippo from Birthday Bash at 3.5 inches and stamped the eye with a Peachy Keen stamp. The flower was cut from Mothers Day Bouquet. I cut 3 different flowers at different sizes and layered them together and added a brad to the center and pop dotted it. The circle frames were cut from George and I stamped the sentiment which is a Scrappy Mom's stamp.
Have a great day and don't forget to go to the new Whimsical Wednesday blog and leave a comment to win some goodies! Also don't forget that the Whimsical Wednesday Blog Hop is on Friday.

Giddy Up

Happy Saturday everone! Here is another layout that I did for my niece's scrapbook. I have to admit that I haven't scrapbooked in so long that I stood and stared at a layout trying to figure out what to do for an hour! So I put that one away and did this one. I am very happy with how this one turned out. I think it will just take some time to get back in the swing of it. I cut the horse, cowgirl, and lasso from Paper Doll Dress Up. I stamped the faces with Peachy Keen stamps and used my black and white pens on them to highlight. The frame was cut from Accent essentials and the title was cut from Robots. I hope you all are having a great day and thanks for looking!

I am going to enter this into Fantabulous Cricuts challenge this week which is Happy Birthday....make something birthday related.

I'm sorry that my pictures aren't the greatest. I am having problems figuring out how the best way to take pictures of 12 X 12 layouts is, so if anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear. Have a great day!
