CTO Blue and White Challenge

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Celebrate The Occassion! This time the challenge is to use the colors BLUE and WHITE.
My card is pretty simple. I think this type of card would make a great sympathy card by just changing the sentiment. But I wanted something cheery so this is what I did. I cut the decorative frame and mat from Storybook and 3.5 inches. I used my white gel pen and did some hilighting and dots on the flowers to make them stand out more. I stamped the sentiment and mounted it on pop dots.. The background I embossed with Sizzix Flower Vine folder and added a ribbon. Very simple! :)
I hope you all liked my card and will play along this week. I can't wait to see what you will create! Have a great day!

PS
I agree it would make a great sympathy card with a different sentiment.

Gigi, This is so pretty. I agree with you. This frame would be perfect for a sympathy card. However, I also think that this frame would be perfect for just about any kind of card.
I love the embossing on the blue background and of course, you knocked out out of the park with the use of that gel pen. I'm still working on getting that technique down.
