JB October Release Blog Hop

Now if you're here from Jamie you're in the right place, if you're just passing thru start at the beginning because you don't wanna miss anything.  I also have the complete line up at the bottom.

Here is what I made:
I have 2 super fun projects to share with you today! I LOVED this release so much, I couldn't help but make 2 projects LOL!

For my first project I made this treat pocket card using the Card Mat Dies.

I created the pocket card by cutting the large Card Mat Die in the red polka dot paper and another in white. I cut the white one down to 3 1/4 inches and then scored 1/8 inch around each of the stitch lines. Then I cut out the corners and scored both sets of lines on each side for a total of 6 score lines, making sure to work the scores really well.

Then I added glue along the lines of the tabs and glued onto the card base. Make sure to use a sturdy glue if you're going to put chunky items in the pocket.
Then I was ready to decorate. I cut the tree's, candy canes, and holly leaves from the Christmas Dies.  The reindeer was cut from SVG Cutting Files Chibi Reindeer file and I stamped the eyes using the Peachy Keen Chickie Face Assortment. I also stamped the face on the tree using the Christmas In July stamp set.
I glued the candy canes to the inside of the pocket and cut out the sentiment banner using the Mini Tag Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Elf Workshop stamp set and added the holly leaves to the side.

For my second project I made this super cute treat box.

This turned out soooo super cute! I just love these new Winter Dies!!!
I cut the treat box out from the SVG Cutting Files Simple Treat Box file and the snowman from the Chibi Kids as Winter Icons. I stamped the face with a Peachy Keen Christmas In July face stamps.
I cut all the snowflakes from the Winter Dies and the sentiment banners from the Mini Tag Dies 2. I added gems to the centers of the snowflakes using the Winter Sprinkles assortment set. I stamped the sentiment and candies using the Christmas Candy Wraps set and used the Candy Wrap Dies to cut out the wraps.
I tied a piece of ribbon through the top of the box and added the snowflake banner along with a Mini Clothes Pin.
