Peachy Keen September Release Blog Hop

The excitement has been building for the past two days and now the time has FINALLY arrived!
WELCOME to the September Release and Reveal Blog Hop at Peachy Keen Stamps!
This All Occasion release brings wonderful images for projects centered around a birthday theme, as well as some great stamps that pair up perfectly with stamps that have been released previously this year. I can see the Birch Background stamp used with our camping themed release, a rustic Christmas project, Halloween, masculine “guy” cards and so, so much more! Smile Eagle goes amazingly well with the Birch Background, too, and can’t us just see that little fella used for some AWESOME patriotic projects? There’s the Haunted A2 Background, which comes just in time to make some quick and easy Halloween projects, OR pair it up with last month’s release or ANY of our Halloween themed stamps for more versatility. The PKSC-33 Stamp of the Month, Ballerina Bear, and the Sentiments for the September 2014 Release are fabulous “go to” sets for any age! And last but certainly not least are the Variety Face Assortments. It wouldn’t be a PKS release without faces, and these are some of the cutest and most versatile yet! Turn a simple project into something SUPER SPECTACULAR just by adding an adorable Peachy Keen Face! These are must haves, for sure!!

You should have arrived here from Saundra, if not, start at the beginning at Peachy Keen so you don't miss a thing!

Here is what I created for you tonight! A fun set of Birthday themed lollipop covers!

I cut the sucker covers from the SVG Cutting Files Kawaii Birthday Lollipop Covers file and hid their faces. I stamped the faces using the NEW Variety Face Assortment stamps and colored them in with Copic markers.
I added the blower to the hat that I stamped and colored from the September 2014 SOTM set. All of the sentiments are from this set too and I stamped them onto banners that I cut using the Jaded Blossom Flag Dies 2 set.
I tied each one closed with twine and added the sentiment banners to the stems of the suckers.

Peachy Keen September Sneak Peek Day 2

JADED BLOSSOM DAY 4 JUST BELOW

Welcome back creative friends!

How about that first day of sneak peeks? Pretty amazing, right? Well we have more!!

Welcome to Day #2 of sneak peeks for the PKS September 2014 Release!

Tonight our talented team members are sharing some outstanding creations using four new stamp sets that were originally designed and created to go with various other stamp sets or themes that have been previously released. Each month as Kathy begins her creative process, she takes sketches and ideas from a specific theme and runs with it. There's no way she could possibly include each and EVERY sketch or idea in every release, but some of them are just too darned cute NOT to make the cut at some point. This is where this release comes in. This evening you will see creations using the Haunted A2 Background, Birch Frame Background, Ballet Bears, and Smile Eagle.

For my first project, I used the Smile Eagle, Variety Faces 1 1/8 inch, and Birch Frame Background sets on my project...

I cut the tube holder using the SVG Cutting File Chevron Tube Holder and inked the edges.
I stamped the birch frame and colored it with Copic markers. Then I cut it apart and added it to the edges of the box.
I stamped and colored that adorable eagle and gave him a face from the new Variety Faces 1 1/8 inch stamp set. I added the sentiment to a banner and attached it at the top with a button and twine.

For my second project I used the new Haunted A2 Background

This was a fun project to make! I really had to put my thinking cap on for this one LOL!
I started by cutting the Gingerbread Head Handled Bag from SVG Cutting Files. Then I stamped and colored the background adding glitter to the edges, bats, and dots on the grass. Then I cut out around the background and placed it on the bag front. Then I traced around the background and trimmed the bag to be the exact fit. To finish, I added some die cut bats using Jaded Blossom's Halloween Dies.

Friends, be sure to drop by the blogs for ALL the information about how they created these amazing samples and don't forget to leave your comments for a chance to win ALL of the stamp sets being featured tonight! Winners will be announced on Monday, September 8th.

Jaded Blossom September Release Day 4

PEACHY KEEN SNEAK PEEK DAY 1 JUST BELOW

Good morning everyone and welcome to Day 4 of the Jaded Blossom September Release. Today we are sharing projects made with the new Monster Candies stamp set.

And here is what I made using this fun new set!

These would be so cute for a Birthday or small child's Halloween treat.
I created the pocket holder using the Layered Frame and Journal Die. I cut 2 out and trimmed a third off one for the front and then glued them together on 3 sides.
I cut the monster from the SVG Cutting Files Monster Bash cut file and pop dotted it to the front.
I created the toppers on the treats by cutting the octagon shape die from the Mini Tag Dies set. I folded a piece of black cardstock in half and then lined the die up just under the top of the die so when I ran it through, all the sides would cut but the top.
I attached them to pieces of Laffy Taffy and added the stamped images from the Monster Candies stamps set. I also added the sentiment circle and mats to the bottom using the Mini Tag Dies.

I hope you liked my project and thanks for looking! Come back tomorrow for another stamp set, freebie of the month, along with the Blog Hop in the afternoon.

Peachy Keen Sneak Peek Day 1

JADED BLOSSOM DAY 3 JUST BELOW

Hello and WELCOME!

It's sneaky peeky time once again and we are so excited to have you join us tonight and tomorrow night for some crafty fun that will feature images for many special occasions!

Do you ever find yourself beginning to create a birthday card or project and just wish you had a simple "go to" stamp set that you could make great use of? One for any age, boy, girl, man, woman, friends, etc...? I think all of us have found ourselves in that place. In need of a set that we can quickly and easily create something fabulous with, or use those same images to add wonderful details to a more complex creation. Well, look no further, because that's just what we have for you!

Here's a little bit about where inspiration for this month's Stamp of the Month came from in Kathy's words...

Last month, I personally had several milestone birthdays to send cards out for. I found myself wishing I had a simple yet versatile birthday stamp set! I think if I would have had these stamps around I TOTALLY would have used them.

Happy and Healthy Hugs to All!
:)Kathy Jakopovich

Along with a super versatile birthday set, this month we have some great add on stamp sets
that will go just beautifully with previously released themes. Tonight we bring you designer creations using PKSC-33 Stamp of the Month set, PK-1428 Sentiments for September 2014, and PK-1429 and PK-1430, which are the newest faces to PKS. The Variety Face Assortment and Variety Faces 1 1/8 inch faces will allow you to add some new peachy cuteness to your creations.

Here is the card that I made using the new September Stamp Of The Month Set...

This card makes me laugh because I have defiantly had my fair share of Birthdays that just blow LOL!
I colored all the balloons with Copic markers and cut them out. I added twine bows to each one and matching twine strings.
The sentiment was stamped onto banners cut using the Jaded Blossom Flag Dies 2 and I added that to the bottom side before I used my sewing machine to stitch around the card.

I hope you all liked my card and thanks for visiting! Make sure to head over to the Peachy Keen Blog to see all the sneak peeks for today!

PRIZES :: PRIZES :: PRIZES!!!

We will be choosing one lucky winner from all the comments on the PKS Blog, AND Designer Blogs to receive all of the stamp sets being showcased this evening. That gives you one chance to win for each comment you leave! Good luck, and enjoy!!! ALL winners from sneak peeks and our Release and Reveal Blog Hop will be announced on Monday, September 6th.

Thanks for stopping by and we'll see you tomorrow! Same time... Same place!!!

Jaded Blossom September Release Day 3

Good morning everyone and welcome to Day 3 of the Jaded Blossom September Release. Today we are sharing projects made with 2 new stamp sets.

And here is what I created using these new sets...
These treats turned out so cute!

This new Scallop Slider and Topper Die is turning out to be one of my all time FAV dies! It is so fun!
I cut the treat bases using the Scallop Slider and Topper Die placing the slots to the side.
I cut the SVG Cutting Files Big Eyed Spider for the first one adding die cut webs from the Halloween Dies, and the ghost and bats on the second. The ghost's face is stamped using the Peachy Keen Monster Mash Face Assortment and I colored the eyes with a marker. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiments using the Pick Your Poison stamp set. I tore the top mats instead of cutting them and I layered them onto mats cut with the Card Mat Dies. I stamped the sentiments onto a tag cut with the Mini Tag Dies 2 using the Halloween Candy Wraps and added to the bottom of each one.
I also added wraps to the Pixi Stix that I cut using he Candy Wrap Dies and stamped using the Halloween Candy Wrap stamps.
