Get Well Eeore

Hello everyone and welcome to another challenge at Whimsical Wednesdays! This week the theme is going to be Get Well with a certain little boy named Angelo in mind. This week both card teams have come together for our challenge to make get well cards for a very special little boy. Angelo, 15 months old, who is the grandson of Margie from Bella Bug Creations, is going through a very difficult time right now. He underwent brain surgery last week and will begin Chemotherapy next week. You can read more about Angelo at this post over at Margie's blog. We hope that you will all join us this week and make a card for Angelo too.
I decided that this is a card for a baby in retrospect and so I didn't want alot of frills and kept it simple. I also wanted something that he might recognize and most kids know who Eeore is. I cut Eeore from Pooh Font at 4 inches. I used Glossy Accents on the ball and stamped the sentiment. I also used a black pen and did a stitching line around the mat and added a bow. I hope you all like my card and will play along this week. I can't wait to see what you'll create!

Oops Froggy Card

Hello everone! Here is the card that I made for M.A.G. Challenge by the Page. This week the challenge cartridge is Paisley and you can only use the Cricut cuts from page #39. I cut the mushroom from Paisley at 4 inches and I used my white and black pens to do some highlighting. The frog is a sticker from Recollections and I stamped the sentiment which is from Scrappy Mom's Furry Friends set. For the card base and mat I used my corner rounder and the grass is a strip of paper that I fringed with scissors. I hope you all are having a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Mer-Sea

Hello everyone! Here is the card that I made for the Tacky Tuesday Challenge. This month the challenge is to use a sea creature and use the word SEA somewhere in your project. I cut the octopus from B is For Boy at 4 inches. I used a purple colored pencil and white gel pen to do some highlighting and stamped the face with a Peachy Keen face. I made up the Mer-Sea saying using 2 different stamped sentiments and put that on an oval tag and mat. I am also going to enter this into Getting Cricky's Simple Sunday challenge which is to include a face on your project. Have a great day!

WW Patriotic Challenge

Here is the pattern that I made for my cell phone!

Hello everyone! It's time for another challenge at Whimsical Wednesdays! This time the challenge theme is Patrioric and must include 1 of the following: Buttons, Bling, or Brads. For my project I did a card and a cell phone skin/sticker. For the card I cut the 4th of July at 3 inches and the banner at 1/2 inch from Independence Day. The stars were cut from George at 1.5 inches and 3/4 inch. I added a star brad to the center of the big star, stamped the "happy", added bling to the 4 and tied ribbons to the bottom.

For my cell phone skin I printed and cut the flag at 2.5 inches from Independence Day using my Imagine and Cricut Printable Vinyl. I assembled all the pieces and cut out the pattern that I made from my cell phone. To finish I added gems to the stars.

I hope you all liked my projects and will play along this week. I can't wait to see what you'll create! Have a great day!

I am going to enter this into Card Creations And More By C's So Saturday challenge which is to make something patriotic.

Flip Flop Fun!

Hello everyone! It's time for another challenge at Celebrate The Occasion! This week the challenge is Celebrate Summer and you must include a SUN somewhere in your project.
I made up a name for my cute little tote...Tip Top Toenail Tote! HEE HEE! One of my favorite things about summer is showing off my painted toenails and flip flops! So this is what I made for my project.

I cut the tote at fit to page from Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More and tore a piece of kraft paper for the sand after I printed the sentiment off my computer. The sun was printed and cut at 1.5 inches from Imagine More and I mounted it with pop dots. The tag I made using Doodlecharms cut at 2.5 inches and the mats were cut at 2.25 and 2. The flip flops were cut from Car Decals at 2 inches. I attatched the tag to a piece of twine and tied it around the bag. To finish I added the toenail goodies. I hope you liked my project and will play along this week at CTO! I can't wait to see what you'll create! Have fun!
I am also going to enter this into Fantabulous Cricuts challenge were the challenge is to add a sun to your project and to Two Scraptastic Gals CCCC challenge which is to use Tags, Bags, Boxes and More.
