Disney Autograph Bags

Hi everyone! I wanted to share the fun bags I made for a few friends that are heading to Disney World TOMORROW!!! I am super excited for them and a little jealous too! But on the plus side, I am headed to DISNEY WORLD in APRIL!!! WHOOP WHOOP!

I made these bags into Autograph Bags for the 3 little girls. This is their first time to Disney and they were very excited. I have been to Disney World several times and of course, I LOVE IT! But you do figure some things out and so I passed that on to them so maybe their trip will go smoothly.
One of the things I like about this idea was that they don't have to buy an autograph book, that eventually gets put away and not looked at again! They can use their bags for the Character Autographs and have them to use after for sleepovers or even school. Plus they're super cute and very "girly"

I have to admit that this is the very FIRST time I have worked with Vinyl of any sort! I know, WHY did I wait SO LONG?!?!? It really is easy to work with AFTER you figure out your settings LOL!
I started by buying the set of 3 bags from Hobby Lobby and I bought the Circut brand Iron On Vinyl from Amazon.
I designed the mouse ears using an old hop file and then adding the year to the center. I used the SUBTRACT button to create the edge around the year so it really popped! I will include a link to a wonderful video I watched that taught me how to use this awesome feature in the Silhouette Designers Edition software.
I also cut each of the names and all the fonts were from the Walt Disney Script.
To finish, the bags, I sewed simple pockets for the markers and attached them to the bags with split O rings that will open if they want to take them off.

Here is a link to the fantastic video I watched to learn how to use the Subtract button feature.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my projects and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!
