Wish BIG!

How much fun is that face!!! It looks like she's wishing REALLY hard! LOL!

Hello everyone! This is a card that I made for a friend. I used the sketch from the Peachy Keen challenge as my inspiration for this card.

I cut the ladybug from Simply Charmed and stamped the face with a Peachy Keen face. I added Glossy Accents to the antenna, glasses, and heart and did a white stitching line. The banner I made by using the Tiny Tag Dies with simple triangle pennants over the top. I added stitching lines to the pennants and some twine. I stamped the sentiment from Tiny Tags, punched it out with a Fiskars punch, and mounted it with pop dots. I also finished the inside by adding a strip of matching paper and stamping the sentiment.
I hope you all enjoyed seeing my card and thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

"Sympathy and Encouragement"

Hello everyone! It's Monday which mean a new challenge at My Craft Spot. This week the challenge is "Hope is Rising" Create a sympathy/encouragement project.
I made this sympathy card. It is a very simple card and sorry, no cricut cuts! I feel that with a sympathy card, the simpler, the better. I double matted this card in off white and brown. The inside off white mat I embossed using the Darice Tree folder. I embossed it off the side of the card for some interest. For the bow I used Vanilla Bean Crinkle Ribbon and added it across the corner of the card. To finish I stamped the sentiment on the outside as well as the inside from My Craft Spot's With Deepest Sympathy stamp set.
I hope you will all play along this week! Please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created. Have a great day!

Thoughtful Cow

Hello everyone! I have a fun card to share with you today. I just LOVE that cow! He's from the County Fair Cricut cart. I cut him out and stamped the face with a Peachy Keen face stamp. I paper pieced the nose/mouth and glued right on top of his nose. The background I created by stamping the field scene with a stamp from the Peachy Keen July SOTM kit. I colored the field with copic markers and paper pieced the sun and hills. I cut the green hills by following the line of the stamp and then used a black pen and followed it across the card. I also inked the white background with blue ink to create the sky. To finish I stamped the sentiment which is from My Craft Spot's Thank You stamp set.
I hope you all liked my card and thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

French Fry Box

Hello everyone! I have to start by saying that I have NO clue as to where the idea came from for this project. I saw the french fry box in TBBM2 and.....the idea was there and I just went with it! LOL!
The challenge over at Peachy Keen this week is "Box It Up". Create a box. Well, this is what I came up with. (Sorry, I can't stop laughing looking at this! LOL!)
I cut the french fry box from TBBM2 and added a band across the middle. I also tied a bow and added the tag that I stamped the sentiment onto. The fries I made by creating boxes that are 5.5 X 1/2 inches. I stamped the faces with Peachy Keen Retro Paper Doll faces and inked all the edges. Before I closed the boxes up, I added jelly beans to the inside. To keep them in place in the box, I added glue dots to the backs. I really have no idea where a person would ever use something like this, but it sure was fun to make! And even funnier to look at the finished project!
I hope you all get a good laugh out of my French Fry Box and thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

"Splishy Splashy Summer"

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week the challenge is "Splishy Splashy Summer". Must include water.
I am terrible at making "guy" cards, but I gave it a go. I think this is because I do my paper crafting for me and my need of "CUTE" things...LOL! So...I think this would be a great card for a boy, teenager, or even a man.
I cut the surfer dude from Pack your bags and did some inking. The wave I cut twice and pop dotted the second layer. I also covered the whole thing in Glossy Accents. To finish the card I added a stitching line around the outside and stamped that AWESOME sentiment...sorry, couldn't help it! LOL!
I hope you all will play along and please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created! Have a great day!

Scarecrow Sign

Hello everyone! I don't know why I'm in the mood for fall, but I am. I find myself making Halloween and Fall themed projects! So here is the card I have to show you today.
I created this card using several Cricut carts and the Build A Scarecrow stamp set from Peachy Keen. I stamped and colored the Scarecrow and the birds. I gave this card lots of dimension by using lots of pop dots. I pop dotted the hands to the sign, the head, and double pop dotted the bird to the hat. The corn was cut from Paper Doll Dress Up and the grass from Create A Critter. I gave the corn lots of texture by dotting white and brown for the corn and inking all the edges and I pop dotted the middle piece of grass. The sign was cut from Campin Critters and I stamped the sentiment from My Craft Spot's Happy Fall Stamp set. To finish I did a white stitching line around the card and added some twine to the sign.
I am going to enter this into Peachy Keen's challenge this week which is: "Just Cards: Popped Up"
Thanks for looking and have a great day!

I made this super fun easel card! I think this turned out just awesome!....sorry, don't mean to toot my own horn...LOL!

Bloom Where You're Planted/Peachy Keen Color Challenge

Hello everyone! This is the second card that I made for Peachy Keen's August Release Challenge. This challenge was a sketch:
I paper pieced the mouse from the PK Valentine Cupids stamp set and stamped some grass using a stamp from the PK June SOTM kit. I gave him a flower to hold and matted him to an octagon mat that I cut by hand. The bow is a free printable file that I found HERE. Isn't is awesome? I added a button with some twine on top of the bow. I also added that adorable tag which is from My Craft Spot's NEW Tiny Tag Dies and Tiny Tag 2 sentiments.
I hope you all like my card and thanks for stopping by today! Have a great day!

Get Well Turtle

Hello everyone! This is card #1 that I did for the challenges going on at The Peachy Keen Connection. They have two August release challenges and this one is to create a "special" fold card and use at least 3 pattern papers. I must say also that if you haven't seen this month's SOTM kit, you should really go check it out HERE! SO SUPER CUTE!
I made a gate fold card for my card. I paper pieced the turtle from the June SOTM kit and added Glossy Accents to the eyes and nails. I added her to a lacy mat that I cut from Elegant Edges. I added a ribbon and bow and stamped the sentiments from My Craft Spot's Inside and Out Set #2

Pooh Baby Shower Invitation

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week the challenge is to make an invitation or announcement. Such as for a wedding, baby, or party.
I am going to admit that I LOVE how this turned out! Pooh is so stinkin cute and just screams "Baby" to me. I love Disney images for Cricut, but they are SO hard to put together. SO....I did my cheater method with my Imagine. My "cheater method", incase you've never heard me talk of it before, is to layer all the cuts on top of each other in Cricut Craft Room and then just print using my Imagine. After it was printed, I trimmed it down and rounded the corners. I added it to a chocolate brown mat and added the ribbon by punching holes and threading ribbon through. Then I stamped all the sentiments using My Craft Spot's New Arrival set. This set makes it so easy to create beautiful handmade invitations! To finish I added Glossy Accents to the bubbles and Pooh's nose.
I hope you enjoyed seeing my invitation and will play along this week! Please don't forget to check out what the rest of the amazing DT had created. Have a wonderful day!

Baby Boy

Hello everyone! I have a different kind of shape card to share with you today. I decided I wanted to try something different and made my card a HALF shape card. I did this by mounting the baby cut to a square card base and then cutting around the outside edge of the baby cut. I created my own background by stamping the "baby boy" (Bundle Of Joy) sentiment in blue and the "flower" (Butterfly Kisses) in green. The baby was cut from Baby Steps and I stamped the face with a PK face.  I finished the inside by stamping the sentiment which is from the new Bundle Of Joy stamp set and is available at My Craft Spot
This week at My Craft Spot the challenge is "Oh Baby" and there's still plenty of time to play along! Thanks for stopping in today and have a great weekend!
