Sit Back And Relax

I used some burlap for the background on my Tiny Doily Die.

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at My Craft Spot and I have a super cute card to share.

This card came out just adorable! I LOVE this fun cut! It's called Just Chillin and it's from SVG Cutting Files.
I stamped his face with a Peachy Keen Moodies face and mounted the cut on pop dots. The card is cut from Birthday Bash and I hand cut the bottom off to make it flat. I also added a big circle to the background for the sun and a torn strip for the sand.
I used My Craft Spot's Tiny Doilies Dies to cut out the paper and burlap. I stamped the sentiment from the NEW Stampin Around Summer and added some Vintage Chocolate Twine to the bottom.
I am going to enter this into the SVG Cutting Files June Heat Wave Challenge

I hope you all liked my card and thanks for visiting! Have a great day!

Life Is Good!

Hello everyone! Did you all have a fun 4th of July? I am camping and tubing all weekend long, so my card today is exactly what I will be doing all weekend long! LOL!

It's time for a new challenge at Peachy Keen. This week the challenge is a sketch challenge. Create a card or layout in any theme using the sketch below.

And here is the card that I made for this challenge.

I chose to flip the sketch sideways for my card.

I cut the card base using my Cricut and Birthday Bash. I cut the girl from a SVG Cutting Files file called Tubing Fun Jenna. I stamped her face with a Peachy Keen Moodies face and colored her cheeks with chalk.
I added a strip of glitter paper to the water and stamped the sentiment from Peachy Keen's Life Is Good Babies Stamp set. To finish I added some pink bubble dots to each side of the sentiment.

I am going to enter this into SVG Cutting Files June Heat Wave Challenge.
I hope you will all play along and have a wonderful and safe weekend!

Peachy Keen Release Party Challenge Cards

Hello everyone! Did you get to the Peachy Keen Release Party tonight? What fabulous inspiration from all of the DT and HOW CUTE are these new stamps???
I have a couple of cards to share with you that I made for the Release Party challenges. Even if you didn't make it to the party, you can still play along for a chance at a Peachy Keen Gift Certificate.

My first card is for the release party challenge that I am hosting. You can created any project, but include a sun on it.
I created the card base using Birthday Bash and I welded a cloud from Create A Critter to the bottom before I cut it out. The sun is from Everyday Paper Dolls and I stamped it with that ADORABLE face using the new PK June SOTM kit. The sand castle is also from the SOTM kit and I added it to the cloud with a banner. The sentiment is also from the June SOTM kit.

For the second challenge, you're to create a 1-2-3 card. 1 stamped image, 2 pattern paper, and 3 embellishments hosted my my DT sister Amy.
I stamped the Hula girl from the new Rock A Hula add on set and colored her with Copic markers. The flower is cut from Mother Day Bouquet and I added some stickles to the edges of the flower. I also added some to the top banner and to the flowers on the hula girl. I added some gems to the center of the flower and also to the flower in her hair. To finished I stamped the sentiment from the Rock A Hula stamp set.

I hope you all will play along in the challenges which can be found at The Peachy Keen Connection.
You can also buy all these stamps NOW at Peachy Keen!
Thanks for stopping in and have a great day!

Peachy Keen Mom/Grandmother Challenge

Click on picture for a larger view!

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Peachy Keen! This week the challenge is "Just Cards" For Mother/Grandmother.
I created this fun shape card for my project! I created the MOM card in my Gypsy using Birthday Bash. After the card and mats were cut out I decorated it up! I used a SVG Cutting File called Besties Hug for those adorable girls and stamped the faces with a Peachy Keen Moodies face stamp.
The flowers and vines were cut from a Miss Kate Cuttables File called Never Forget How Much I Love You. and the butterflies are from a punch.
To finish I stamped the sentiment banner with a stamp from Peachy Keen's Veggie Sentiments One stamp set and added it to the card using a flower shaped brad.

I hope you all will play along in the challenge and please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created! Have a great weekend and
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL MY BLOGGY FRIENDS!!!!

May Peachy Keen Sneak Peek

WARNING: PICTURE HEAVY POST!
In order to give you the full effect of this box, I took LOTS of pictures!

Hello everyone! I have a project to share that I did with the NEW May Peachy Keen Stamp Of The Month set that is coming out! OMG!!! You all are going to LOVE this cute set! I know I do! LOL!

I created this baby gift box for my project. I started with a store bought hexagon box and covered it with paper. The postage square mats were cut from B Is For Boy and the font was cut from Birthday Bash. The grass was cut from Paper Doll Dress Up and I did a white stitching line around the center squares.
Those ADORABLE farm animals are from the new Peachy Keen SOTM kit! I stamped and colored them with Copic markers and pop dotted them to the box.
To finish I made a paper bow, added it to the top and glued ribbon around the top edge of the box. You can find a great tutorial on how to make your own bows HERE. The only change I made was instead of putting it together with glue dots, I punched holes and used a brad to secure the whole thing together.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my sneak peek and if you would like to see more, head over to Peachy Keen where there will be sneak peeks all week long! And don't forget to come to the Release Party at The Peachy Keen Connection on Sunday at 6 pm CST where there will be all kinds of inspiration and prizes to be won!
Have a great day!

I made this card to share with you today. That frog is so stinkin cute, I just had to make a card with him! LOL!
I cut the card base from Birthday Bash and welded the flowers to the side from Paisley. The frog and lily pad are from a file from Lettering Delight's called Frog's and Kisses. I pop dotted the flower onto the lily pad and stamped that fun sentiment from My Craft Spot's Build A Valentine stamp set.

You Rock!

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week the challenge is "Cute Critter". Create a project and include a cute critter.
I made this fun card to share with you today. I really wanted to get out of the norm and make a fun shaped card.
I cut the card base and mat from Life's A Party. I added a black stitching line around the outside and used my I-Rock to add some hot rocks to the corners. The fox was cut from Birthday Bash and I stamped the face with a Peachy Keen stamp. I think this face is PERFECT for this fun guy, with his tongue sticking out and all! LOL!
The arrow I created by welding the curved and straight arrows together from Accent Essentials. After it was cut out, I had to trim off the excess and added a white stitching line to it. The sentiment tag was created by using My Craft Spot's Lacy Banners Dies and the sentiment is from Tiny Tags 2.
I hope you will all play along in the challenge and please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created! Have a great day!

Hoppy Easter

Hello everyone and happy Friday! I am SO sick of winter! It has been SO super cold here. We have been lucky if it hits 40 degree's...which it hasn't in almost 2 weeks. IT'S SPRING for pete's sake! LOL!

I have a card to share today that I made for Easter. I know alot of you like to see my Cricut creations and I will keep alternating with my Cricut and Cameo. I just had to create something with this adorable chick from Create A Critter 2.
I cut the card base from Birthday Bash and the grass from Paper Doll Dress Up. The eggs were cut from Doodlecharms and I hand cut one in half to make it look like it cracked. The chick was cut from Create A Critter 2 and I stamped the face with a Peachy Keen's Winter Wonderland face stamp. The bunny hat is the accessory for this cut. To finish I used My Craft Spot's Tiny Doilies Dies to create the sentiment flower and stamped the sentiment using Peachy Keen's Baby Easter Bunny stamp set.
I hope you all like my card and thanks for stopping in. Have a wonderful weekend.

You're EGG-cellent!

Hello everyone! This is the second card that I made for the Release Party Challenges going on over at the Peachy Keen Connection. For this challenge you were to either heat or dry emboss.
I chose to do a heat emboss.
I started by stamping the clouds with a Versa Mark ink pad and covered them in clear embossing powder. I used my heat gun to melt the embossing powder and then used my white gel pen to add some highlights to the clouds.  The card base was cut from Birthday Bash and I added a pattern piece of paper to the front. The egg and bow were stamped using the NEW PKSC-15 March 2013 stamp set. I colored the face with copic markers and added the bow to her head. The long strip of grass was cut from Everyday Paper Dolls and the rest of the grass pieces and sun were cut from Create A Critter. I stamped the sun's face with a Peachy Keen Sweet and Silly face and mounted it on pop dots. To finish, I stamped the sentiment from the Peachy Keen Easter Bunnies stamp set.
I hope you all liked my card and will come play along in the challenges! Have a great day and thanks for stopping in!

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you all are enjoying the weekend...I am! My son came home for his first visit since leaving for college 7 weeks ago! I am SO happy to see him!
Here is a card that I made for a couple of challenges. Everything was cut from Birthday Bash. I cut the shaped card base with the star mat and did a stitching line around the star. I cut the elephant, inked the edges, and stamped the eyes with a Peachy Keen face stamp. The banner I made by stamping the image to a banner and inked the edges. I cut a toothpick down and added some twine to the top with a piece of tape. Then I folded over the edge around the toothpick and glued it closed. To finish I added some buttons to the bottom corner.

Birthday Sundae

Hello everyone! I have a card to show you today that I did for a couple of challenges.
I cut the ice cream sundae from Birthday Bash and stamped the face with a PK face stamp. I tried a new technique that I saw at Glora's Crafts! She showed her technique on how she uses a Versa Marker to highlight the edges of her cut....this is so cool! Thanks Glora for sharing!
So I used that technique and did the outlining on my sundae cup. I embossed the background mat and used some scallop scissors to cut the purple mat. I stamped the sentiment and added the tag to the side of the mat. To finish I added the ribbon and bow.
I am going to enter this card into the following challenges:
Simply Crafts- Ice Cream Sundae from Birthday Bash
Peachy Keen's color challenge
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
