Cotton Candy Birthday

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week the challenge is "Tasty Treats". Create a project using a sweet treat.

I created this fun Birthday card! I cut the cotton candy from County Fair and stamped the face with a Peachy Keen face stamp. After the face was on the cotton candy, I used Fun Flock and covered it all except for the face. I did this by using my ZIG two way glue pen and traced around the face so I wouldn't get any on it. I also added some twine for a bow and mounted it on pop dots.
I stamped the sentiment using My Craft Spot's Birthday Wishes stamp set and added some Sheer White ribbon to the side.
I hope you all will play along and please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created! Have a wonderful day!

Thoughtful Cow

Hello everyone! I have a fun card to share with you today. I just LOVE that cow! He's from the County Fair Cricut cart. I cut him out and stamped the face with a Peachy Keen face stamp. I paper pieced the nose/mouth and glued right on top of his nose. The background I created by stamping the field scene with a stamp from the Peachy Keen July SOTM kit. I colored the field with copic markers and paper pieced the sun and hills. I cut the green hills by following the line of the stamp and then used a black pen and followed it across the card. I also inked the white background with blue ink to create the sky. To finish I stamped the sentiment which is from My Craft Spot's Thank You stamp set.
I hope you all liked my card and thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Movie Night Gift Bag

Hello everyone! Here is the gift bag that I created for Peachy Keen's challenge. This week the challenge is "Stamp A Gift Bag" I recycled a Starbucks bag and turned it into this! I thought this would be so much fun to give to a child as a "rewards" bag, or even just a Family Movie night surprise.
I used my Imagine and did my "cheater" method. This means that I layered all the cuts on to one another and printed only. I kept the big popcorn box on the white and then only had to cut out the small popcorn box and the ticket. All the cuts on the bag are from County Fair....don't you just LOVE those faces on the popcorn? LOL! I stamped the faces with the Peachy Keen Cornies faces and did some highlights on the cuts. The scallop top and bottom were cut from Accent Essential. I welded 2 together and hid the dots in the center. I used the NEW Tiny Tags 2 Stamp Set from My Craft Spot to stamp the sentiments on the labels and added the tag with some twine.
Then you have to fill the bag right!?! I put in one of my FAV movie, Walk The Line ( I have a BAD habit of buying LOTS of movies at Christmas time when Wal-mart has them for $2 each, so I ALWAYS have lots of movies still in the plastic)  and some candy and popcorn. OK, maybe my GIGANTIC bag of fresh Kettle Corn that I got from the craft fair this weekend is a little big, but you get the idea! LOL!
I hope you like my fun gift bag and thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

Happy Pig!

Hello everyone! Did you all have a nice 4th of July? We were supposed to camp, but with the SUPER hot heat here in WI, we ended up just coming home. :(   If I have to be stuck indoors, at least I can play in my craft room! LOL!
I made this card for the Peachy Keen Stamp Release Party challenge. The challenge for this one is to "Create A Scene". I missed the release last night, but wanted to play along with the challenges. Any excuse to use my PK stamps! LOL!
I just got the County Fair cart and had to play with it. The pig and fence are cut from there. I stamped the pig's face with a PK stamp and did some inking on him. The sun was cut from Simply Charmed and I also stamped her face. The background clouds were stamped and I cut an extra cloud out and pop dotted it to the  card. I stamped the sentiment and butterfly from My Craft Spot's Butterfly Kisses stamp set.
I hope you all like my card and thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!
