Peachy Keen Sneak Peek #2

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing more sneak peeks for the upcoming Peachy Keen Stamp release!

The first card I made using the Stamp Of The Month kit. I stamped and paper pieced that adorable little piggy and colored him in with Copic Markers. The bath is cut from Pooh Font and I added Glossy Accents to the water in the tub. I cut the fancy mat from Elegant Edges and added a black stitching line around it. Then I added some eyelets to the sides and wove the ribbon through. I finished by heat embossing the sentiment.

For my second card, I used one of the new add on sets called Female Floatin' Frog. HOW FUN IS SHE?!?!? I just LOVE this fabulous frog and I know my MIL will too! (She has a thing for frogs!)

I made the card in my Gypsy using the fancy frames from Elegant Edges.I stamped and colored the frog scene with Copic Markers and cut out around her leaving alot of the blue. I used my sewing machine and did a stitching line around the mat and stamped the sentiments.

I hope you all liked my sneak peeks and if you would like to see more, head over to Peachy Keen where there will be sneak peeks all week long. Then on Sunday at 6 pm CST, come over to the Peachy Keen Connection for the release party where you will see some awesome projects along with prizes to be won!
Have a great day!

Pooh Baby Shower Invitation

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week the challenge is to make an invitation or announcement. Such as for a wedding, baby, or party.
I am going to admit that I LOVE how this turned out! Pooh is so stinkin cute and just screams "Baby" to me. I love Disney images for Cricut, but they are SO hard to put together. SO....I did my cheater method with my Imagine. My "cheater method", incase you've never heard me talk of it before, is to layer all the cuts on top of each other in Cricut Craft Room and then just print using my Imagine. After it was printed, I trimmed it down and rounded the corners. I added it to a chocolate brown mat and added the ribbon by punching holes and threading ribbon through. Then I stamped all the sentiments using My Craft Spot's New Arrival set. This set makes it so easy to create beautiful handmade invitations! To finish I added Glossy Accents to the bubbles and Pooh's nose.
I hope you enjoyed seeing my invitation and will play along this week! Please don't forget to check out what the rest of the amazing DT had created. Have a wonderful day!

Eeyore

Hello everyone! Exploring Cricut's challenge is to create something using a Disney cart. I am actually sad to say that I only own 1 Disney cart...this is sad because I LOVE Disney!
This is the card that I created for the challenge. I used Pooh Font for Eeyore and my Imagine for the exact colors. You can find the Disney RGB codes HERE. I added a white stitching line around the card and inside mat. The tag I cut by hand using a corner rounders and stamped the sentiment. The sun was cut from Create A Critter. I just love Eeyore and this card!
Thank you for looking and have a great day!

Piglet Baby Card

FOR THE WHIMSICAL WEDNESDAY POST SEE PLEASE SEE POST BELOW!
Happy Friday everyone! I did this card to enter into My Creative Time's Throwback Thursday challenge and Cricut 360's challenge. The challenge for Throwback Thursday is to use a Font cartridge and at 360 it is to make a baby card and dry embossing.
I printed and cut Piglet from Pooh Font using my Imagine. I used the Disney RGB codes to get the acurate colors and they can be found at Courtney Lane Designs on the top right side of her page. The background mat is a Nestability die that I embossed using the Cuttlebug Poka Dots folder. I hand cut the tag and stamped it. I attatched it with twine and added 3 gems to it. Super simple, but Oh so cute!
I also wanted to remind everyone of the Whimsical Wednesday Halloween Blog Hop next Friday at 7 pm! You don't want to miss it! Have a great weekend and thanks for looking!

Get Well Eeore

Hello everyone and welcome to another challenge at Whimsical Wednesdays! This week the theme is going to be Get Well with a certain little boy named Angelo in mind. This week both card teams have come together for our challenge to make get well cards for a very special little boy. Angelo, 15 months old, who is the grandson of Margie from Bella Bug Creations, is going through a very difficult time right now. He underwent brain surgery last week and will begin Chemotherapy next week. You can read more about Angelo at this post over at Margie's blog. We hope that you will all join us this week and make a card for Angelo too.
I decided that this is a card for a baby in retrospect and so I didn't want alot of frills and kept it simple. I also wanted something that he might recognize and most kids know who Eeore is. I cut Eeore from Pooh Font at 4 inches. I used Glossy Accents on the ball and stamped the sentiment. I also used a black pen and did a stitching line around the mat and added a bow. I hope you all like my card and will play along this week. I can't wait to see what you'll create!
