Free Snowmen

Hello everyone! We're getting back to normal after the holidays with a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week the challenge is "Frosty Days" Winter themed projects.
I was inspired to make this card from the sentiment. It's such a fun sentiment and couldn't wait to do something with it.
I used quite a few different Cricut carts in this card...thank goodness for my Gypsy!
The circles for the snowman were cut  from George and I hand cut the arms. The carrot and scarf were cut from Winter Frolic and I hand drew in the lines for the scarf and added stickles. The hat was cut from CAC2 and the sign from Freshly Picked. I stamped the sentiment from My Craft Spots Think Snow stamp set and then embossed it with the Tim Holtz Woodgrain folder. To add some shimmer to this card, I added glitter to the snowman and snow layer at the bottom.
I hope you all will play along this week and please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created! Have a great day!

Mother's Day Hat Card

If you are looking for the winner for my giveaway, please see post just below this one!
Hello everyone! I have a super sweet Mother's Day card to show you today! My mom LOVES frilly hats, so I thought this would be perfect for her. (MOM, if you see this, pretend like you didn't when I give this to you! LOL!) My mom is a follower of my blog so I'm sure she'll see this! LOL!
I welded 2 hats from Freshly Picked to create the card base and cut all the layers. I created the ruffle using crinkle ribbon, I pleated it and glued it to the backs of the cuts to get this look. If you want to see a wonderful tutorial on how to do this technique, check THIS video out at My Craft Spot.
I added the scallop strip to the top of the ribbon layers and added pearls using a Viva Decor Pearl Pen. I also cut a rose from Flower Shoppe and added that over the flat flower cut. To finish I hand cut the tag and stamped the sentiment.
I am going to enter this into the following challenges:
1. My Craft Spot- Mothers Day
2. RRRR- Mothers Day + ribbon
3. Go Fish
Thanks for looking and have a great night!

Wishing You A Beautiful Day!

Hello everyone! Here is a card that I made for a couple of challenges. I LOVE how cute the flower turned out! Hee Hee!
I started by stamping the background with the PK Clouds Background. ( I REALLY love this cloud stamp!) I cut the flower petal layers from Mother's Day Bouquet and hand cut the stem and leaves. For the center of the flower I used my I-Top and covered a brad in yellow paper and then stamped the face which is from the PK Happy Lashes set. I folded out the top layer of petals to give it lots of dimension. The sign was cut from Freshly Picked and the grass from Create A Critter. I added a ribbon and stamped the sentiment which is from Whimsical Designs Whimsical Fun Vol.1.
I am going to enter this into the following challenges:
1. EAD Color Designs- Color Challenge
2. Die Cuttin Diva's- Gardens
3. Little Scrap Pieces- Use a Flower

Peachy Keen Release Challenge #2

Hello everyone! Here is the card that I made for Peachy Keen's Release Party challenge #2. For this challenge you were to use ribbon and bling.
I cut the card base from Birthday Bash at 5 inches and added a white stitching line around the scallops. The gnome and mushroom were cut from Freshly Picked and I stamped the faces with Peachy Keen's Happy New Year Assortment. I just LOVE that bubble face! HEE HEE! I added bling to the gnomes hat and boots. The background mat was embossed with Seeing Spots and I stamped the sentiment which is from Whimsical Designs Everyday Sentiments.
I hope you have a great day and thanks for looking!

I am going to enter this into Creative Cutter Room's Design Time Thursday challenge. This time the challenge is a shape card. No squares or rectangles.

CTO Challenge # 35

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Celebrate The Occasion! This time the challenge is "Male Birthday" and you must use METAL.
I cut the truck from Everyday Paper Dolls in several colors and cut apart the pieces for the different layers. I used a silver pen and colored the bumpers and added silver brads to the center of the tires. The wood crate on the back is cut from Freshly Picked that I sized in my Gypsy to fit. I tore a piece for the background and crumpled it up. I then inked the edges and high spots. The metal on the side I embossed with Mesh Texture embossing folder and I also inked this. I attatched it with brads and added more to the side of the mat. The sentiment is stamped and matted.
I hope you will play along this week and don't forget to check out what the rest of the amazing DT has come up with. I can't wait to see what you will create!
