Cruise Survival Kit

Hello everyone! I have a fun project to show you that I did for my Sister In Law...aka...my best friend. She is going on her first cruise next week for work. She gets PAID to go on a cruise! Lucky duck! LOL! This is a "just for fun" send off for her.
I made this Cruise Survival Kit for her. I cut the tote bag from TBBM and added some decorative paper and ribbon to it. The octopus was cut from Create A Critter and I stamped the face with a Peachy Keen Wide Eyed Kids face. The sentiment tag was printed off my computer and I used circle punches to get the tag. The inside is where I had lots of fun! I cut the sun and garbage can from Smiley Cards and stamped the faces with PK Happy Lashes and Happy New Year assortment. The bottle was cut from Slumber Party and I stamped the face with a PK Happy New Year face. The lip balm tag I cut by hand and stamped the lips and sentiment from PK's Kiss Me Leprechaun set. I hand wrote a little note on the back of each tag, all starting with " SO YOU DON'T..."
The sun/sunblock- "Get Scorched!"
The garbage can/pocket bac- "Catch Some Crazy Virus!"
The bottle/drink sticks- "Get Parched!"
I love how this turned out and I think it is so funny! I know she's going to love it and get a good laugh out of it too.
I am going to enter this into Peachy Keen's challenge this week which is a color inspiration from the following picture:
Have a great weekend and thanks for looking!

Peachy Purse Bag

Hello everyone! Here is a super cute and fun bag that I made for Peachy Keen's Anything Goes challenge this week. I am always in need of small gift bags, so this will be perfect for my stash. Can you tell that I am DYING for summer by the colors I am using? LOL!
I started by cutting the bag from Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More at 12 inches on my 12 X 24 mat. I cut it with my Gypsy so that's how I was able to get it so big. I have to admit that this is my very FIRST time using the 12 X 24 inch mat. I love how big this bag turned out and might be using the big mat a lot more!
I then cut the front layers by using pattern paper and the negative from the first bag cut as a template where to place my pattern paper. After that was cut, I hand trimmed all the pieces 1/4 inch smaller and glued them onto the bag. I cut the cherries from Hello Kitty Greeting's and stamped the faces with Peachy Keen's Cornie's Faces. The tag was cut from Winter Frolic and I attached it to the bag with some decorative fiber. To finish I added a strip of lace to the bottom of the bag, added a ribbon handle, and added a layered flower to the center flap with a brad. I also added a velcro dot to the flap to close the bag and the sentiment was stamped from Whimsical Designs Whimsical Fun Vol. 1.
I just love how this bag turned out! Thanks for looking and have a great night!

Snowman Hugs!

Hello everyone! It sure is nice to get back to my craft room! I have been so busy with the holidays that it's been tough getting back into the swing of things. So I started by making this card to enter into My Craft Spots Monday challenge which is Winter Wonderland and you must include glitter.
I cut the tag from Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More and embossed the background mat with the Cuttlebug Snowflakes folder. I the took sandpaper and sanded over the embossing to let the white show through. The snowman was cut from Christmas Cheer and I added silver stickles to his scarf and misted him with Pearl Glimmer Mist. I added some fibers to the bottom of the tag as well as the top. I made a mat and stamped the sentiment which is from Whimsical Designs Snow Much Fun stamp set. The background of the card I embossed with the Cuttlebug Textile folder and added dots of clear stickles. To finish I punched some snowflakes and layered them together and added gems to the centers.
I hope you all like my card and thanks for visiting! Have a wonderful day!

Enjoy The Magic Of The Moment

Hello everyone! Can you believe Christmas is only 5 days away! In celebration of Christmas, I made this tag. Sometimes I forget the true meaning of Christmas, and to me this tag a wonderful reminder. The birth of Jesus.
I cut the tag and mat from Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More at 4 inches. The baby and star were cut from Winter Frolic. I embossed the manger with a Mesh Texture folder and inked all the edges of the cuts. I used a black pen to draw in the eyes and nose. I added chalk to the cheeks and I pop dotted the head. The star front I covered with chunky glitter and pop dotted it to the star base. The sentiment is from Whimsical Designs Whimsical Fun Vol. 1. I thought this was the PERFECT sentiment! Enjoy the magic of the moment... of Christmas. I stamped the sentiment, tore the paper, and inked the edges. To finish I added a crinkle ribbon hanger and bow.
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL day and thanks for visiting.
I am going to enter this into the following challenges:
1. My Craft Spots Monday Challenge- Tag...You're It
2. Fantabulous Cricut- Trimming with a tag
3. Whimsical Designs- Tags
EDIT: People have been asking about the paper I used. It's from DCWV Christmas Combo stack that I bought last year.

Hi everyone! I'm back with more Jolly Holidays!!! :) I love this cart, it is SO CUTE! I cut this bag from TBBM at 6 inches and used OUAP for the cut out in the center cut at 1.5 inches. The penguin, light post, and tag were cut from Jolly Holidays. The penguin was cut at 2 inches and I trimmed off the umbrella. The light post was cut at 2.5 inches and the tag was cut at .75 inches. I used Glossy Accents on the penguin and light post to give it some shine and the snow on the bottom is just a torn piece of paper. I finished it with a bow and added iridescent shred on the inside. I am going to enter this into Made By Momo's Tuesday challenge which was to make a treat bag or box. Have a great night everyone!!!

Hi all! I am heading out of town for the weekend, so I wanted to get this posted. I made this treat box for BBTB2 and Paper Cutz challenge's this week. The challenge at BBTB2 is the TBBM Crayon Box and halloween with NO orange or black at Paper Cutz. I cut the crayon box at 6 inches. The ghost and bag is from PDDU cut at 3.5 inches and the bag at 1.5 inches. The lantern is from October 31st cut at 3 inches. The ribbon kind of looks black but it's really purple. The sentiments are stamps from Peachy Keen's Halloween Mini's set. I plan on filling the treat box with one of my son's favorite candy......Pixie Stix. Have a great weekend!

Encouraging Bookmark

Hi everybody! Today I made a bookmark tag for a school child. The idea behind this is that everytime they open their book they will get these words of encouragement. I just recently got Simply Charmed and couldn't wait to cut some of these images out. This cart has some of the cutest things on it. I designed this bookmark in DS so the images sizes are approximate. The tag I cut at 5 inches from TBBM. The piece of paper was cut at 4 inches and I chalked over the lines to make them show up more( didn't it turn out cute) The scissors I cut at 2.5 inches and put Glossy Accents on the handle to make them shine. The glue was cut at 2 inches and the pencil at 3.5 inches. I used the hide contour feature for all the faces except for the pencil. I also added an eyelet to the tag's hole to make it a little stronger and then put ribbon through it and a button on the glue bottle. The sentiment is stamped from My Favorite Things Essential Sentiments.
I am entering this into 3 challenges:
1. Crafting With Cristina- School themed
2. Fantabulous Cricut's Crawl-Button Up For School
3. Paper Cutz- Tags

WMC19 Hello Cupcake Gift Bag

Hi everyone. This is what I made to enter at wee memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge. This week the challenge is Sweet Treats with Ribbon. I cut this bag from TBBM at 5.5 inches. The cupcake I cut from Doodlecharms at 2 inches. It had a candle on it but I didn't want the candle so I trimmed it off. I also added Glossy Accents to the sprikles on the cupcake. The sentiment is stamped and the tag is punched from Fiskars punches. I hope everyone had a great weekend! Take Care!

Cuttlebug Challenge #96

This is my entry for Cuttlebug Challenge this week. For this challenge you had to use acetate in your project. I made this gift box from TBBM and cut the top to have a window in it. I embossed the acetate for the window and another small left over piece for the tag. I stamped a sentiment on the orange paper and then layered the acetate over it for the tag. I ran a piece of ribbon around the box and through one layer of the tag and then fastened the acetate down with brads. I think this would make a great gift box. Hope you all are having a great weekend!

5 pm CC Santa Soup

5 pm Cuttlebug Challenge
For this challenge you were to make a can of Santa Soup. I printed off the poem on my computer, hand wrote "Santa Soup" in white gel pen, and used a santa sticker for the main image. The tag I also printed on my computer and mounted it to a tag I cut from TBBM and embossed with Swiss Dots.

8 pm 3D Christmas Tree

8 pm Cuttlebug Challenge
For this challenge you were to make a 3D christmas tree. Here is my version of it. I cut out the triangle box from TBBM. I didn't have a cricut cut that resembled a branch so I punched out a ton of snowflakes. I then inked them with white and folded them in half and then glued them to the tree. The star I created in Design Studio using the star from George and the curly Q's from Accent Essentials.

Polar Bear Box

Here is my entry for Fantabulous Cricut and Creatalicious Challenges. FC's challenge is Christmas in July and CC's challenge is anything goes in 3D. This "snowflake" box is actually the flower box from Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More cut fit to page. I trimmed the petals to a point to make it look like a snowflake. Then I cut snowflake paper 1/8 smaller than the sides of the box and glued them on to all the sides. The polar bear is cut from Live Simply and the snowflakes on the sides are cut from Accent Essentials. I cut 4 snowflakes total and glittered 2 of them and then pop dotted them to the plain ones. I also pop dotted the polar bear's legs. The top of the box I also glittered and added gems to give it lots of bling. I hope you all like it! I did get a little bling happy but I think it's cute! :)
