Attitude!

Happy Friday everyone! I am so happy the weekend is finally here! I have a card today that just cracks me up! Between that adorable face and the sentiment, I think it is SO funny. I have a Yorkie and I can totally see him say this....if he could talk anyways! LOL!
I cut the dog from Four Legged Friends and inked all the edges of the cuts. The face was stamped from Peachy Keen's Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed face stamps and the sentiment is from Mr. Cricut Crazy's Razzel set. The paper I used is from the Recollections Bold Basics stack. I LOVE this stack! All the papers co-ordinate so easily.
I am going to enter this into the following challenges:
1. Mojo Monday sketch
2. Die Cuttin Diva's- Favorite Pet
3. Paper Playtime- Pets and sentiment

Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!

Happy Day

Hello everyone! Here is the card that I made for several challenges. The first is More Than Favors CCCC challenge which is to use Sweethearts. The second is for My Craft Spots Monday Challenge which is " Sew Much Fun" use some sort of stitching on your project.
I want to take a second and give a BIG shout out to Kimberly at My Craft Spot! I won several items in her new stamp release blog hop this last week and I just want to say THANK YOU! If you haven't seen her new stamp sets you really need to check them out. They are SO CUTE and not to mention the FABULOUS inspiration she had on her blog all week long! The projects were AMAZING! So THANKS AGAIN KIMBERLY!
For my card I cut the scallop frame and mat from Accent Essentials. I used my sewing machine and stitched the black line around the white frame and used a white and black pen for the other stitching. I cut the girl on scooter from Sweethearts and used a white and black pen for highlights. I embossed the basket with The Paper Studio's Mesh Texture folder and added punched flowers to the scooter and the girls hair. The little dog was cut from Four Legged Friends and I put him in the basket and stamped the sentiment. I hope you all are having a great day and thanks for looking!

Yorkie Cuteness!

Hello everyone! Here is the card that I made for My Pink Stampers Blog Hop challenge. The challenge is to make something that's your style! Well, anyone who visits regularly knows that I am TOTALLY addicted to Peachy Keen face stamps! I hope you all don't get sick of them. LOL! I just love creating these cute critters with their adorable faces.
I cut the Yorkie from Four Legged Friends at 3 inches and stamped the face with a PK Medium Critters stamp. I did some chalking and used a white gel pen for the freckles and added a twine bow. The heart with paw print was also cut from FLF at 1.5 inches. I added Glossy Accents to the paw print and dots with a white gel pen. To finish I stamped the sentiment from Pink By Design's Be Mine set, punched a border strip, and added twine. I hope you all are having a great night and have a wonderful weekend!

Just Be-Paws

Hello everyone! Here is the card that I made for Peachy Keen's LFIF challenge #20. This time the challenge is "So Punny". Use a pun on your project along with a PK face.
I made my card in my Gypsy by welding 2 postage stamps together from Create-A-Critter. The dog was cut from Four Legged Friends at 3 inches. I chalked around his body and stamped his face with a Peachy Keen face stamp. I stamped the sentiment which was from the Scrappy Mom's Furry Friends stamp set. It origanally said Just Be-Claws and I stamped everything except for the C and L and replaced them with a P. The sentiment tag was cut from Once Upon A Princess and the center white I punched with a Fiskars punch. To finish I added a stitching line around the card and sentiment tag and added ribbon. I hope you all like my card and thanks for looking! Have a great day!

Whimsical Wednesday Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome the Whimsical Wednesday Blog Hop! If you are coming here from Cindy, then your in the right place! If not you will want to start at the beginning here! For my first project I made this refrigerator notepad holder. I cut a 5.5 X 11 inch piece of cardboard from a cereal box and covered it with pattern paper. I made a pocket for the notepad cut at 3.75 X 4.5 inches. I thought about gluing a notepad to it but then you wouldn't be able to replace it. This way you can replace the notepad when it's out of paper. For the picture I cut the frog from Paisley at 2 inches and the font was cut from Robots at .75 inches. I then took some old magnets (the ones you get in the mail with credit cards and such) and cut one in half and glued them to the back. This is a picture of it hanging on my fridge!

For my second project I made this card. I LOVE Hello Kitty....she's so cute! :) I just love scene cards and was very happy with how this one turned out. I cut HK from Hello Kitty Greetings at 3 inches and the sun at 1.5 inches. I chose not to do the black layers for the sun. The clouds were cut from Simply Charmed and the grass was cut from Paper Doll Dress Up both custom sized in my Gypsy. The mouse was cut at 1.5 inches from Four Legged Friends and I added a flower to his hands.

I hope you enjoyed my projects and now you're off to Roberta!

New Puppy Card

Hello everyone and welcome to the 5th Celebrate The Occasion challenge. For this challenge the theme is new baby or pet. For my DT project I chose to do a new puppy card. I cut the puppy and pet bed from Four Legged Friends at 2 inches. I pop dotted the puppies head to give it more dimension and highlighted him using a black pen. The sentiment I printed off my computer and the frame is from Once Upon A Princess that I custom sized in my Gypsy. I also added 2 brads to the ends of the frame. I hope you all will give this challenge a go and I can't wait to see what you create! Have a great day!

I'm Back From Vacation!

Hello everyone! I am back from vacation but have a TON of laundry and other things to do (including getting a new cell phone, but thats a WHOLE other story!) but I wanted to share with you this reminder card I made for my son for when we were gone. I took an 8.5 X 11 sheet of cardstock and folded in half. I cut the kitty and food bowl from Four Legged Friends and the font from Robots. I'm sorry but I don't remember the sizes. He actually laughed out loud when he saw it and the cat is still alive so it must have worked! LOL! I left it on the kitchen counter and reinforced the bottom with strips of paper so it wouldn't fall over. I hope you all are well and I will hopefully be back in the swing of things soon. I've missed my crafting time! Take care!

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #47

Hello everyone! Fantabulous Cricuts challenge this week is "Weather Forecast". Make something with seasonal weather. So this is what I came up with because I CAN'T wait for spring! For my card I cut the hampster from Four Legged Friends at 2 inches. The umbrella was cut from April Showers at 2.5 inches. The grass was cut from Everyday Paper Dolls and the the frame was cut from Once Upon A Princess. I thought this fame looked kinda like a cloud. ( Did I use enough different carts? ) I used a black pen to highlight the hampster and umbrella and stamped the image. I hope you all are having a wonderful day and thanks for looking!

Be Mine Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to the Be Mine Blog Hop hosted by the NEW challenge blog Celebrate The Occasion. If you are coming from Ivette then your in the right place. If not, you will want to start at the beginning HERE so you won't miss a thing!
For my project I made this CUTE gable box. The gable box I bought from Wal-Mart...a package of 3 for $2! I cut the mice from Four Legged Friends at 2 inches with one of them being cut using the flip feature on my Cricut. The heart around the acetate window I traced and then cut out with scallop scissors. Incidentally I can't even remember the last time I used them! :) LOL! I glued ribbon around the bottom, sides and top flap of the box and added a bow to the handle. The framed sentiment is from a piece of paper cut out of the K&Company Valentine stack and matted. I hope you all enjoyed my project and your next stop is Adrian.

Jitterbuggin' For The Birds

Hello everyone! Here is the card I did for Jitterbuggin's weekly challenge. The challenge is to use the sketch, a bird, and something pink. I cut the frames from Straight From The Nest at 4 inches and 2 inches with the layers being a tad bit bigger. I embossed the white layer with the Sizzix Flower Vine folder. I cut the birdcage from Four Legged Friends at 3.5 inches and the bird at 1.5 inches. To finish the card I stamped the sentiment and punched the border. And finally my pink in the card is at the top of the birdcage....I added a pink gem to it. I hope you all are having a great day!

Thank You Card

Hello everyone! I finally got to use my Four Legged Friends cart! O.K., I need to tell you that when I decided on this image I thought it was a dog.....but in fact when I pushed the button on my Cricut it said cat5. You all will have to tell me what you think....cat or dog! :) I cut the CAT at 3 inches and the paw print at 1 inch. I used this purple match book card as my base. When I put the paw print down and then the "thank you" stamp it kind of looked like the CAT was signing it....or so I think it does. LOL! To finish it I added ribbon to the top and bottom. I think this is SO CUTE! I hope you all have a great day and if your in need of new carts, check out my previous post before for Cricut Machine....$14.95 carts for 48 hours only! Take care!
