Peachy Keen July Release Party Challenges

Hello everyone! Did you get to attend the Release Party at The Peachy Keen Connection? Well, if you didn't, no worries! You can still come play along in the challenges for a chance at a Peachy Keen Gift Certificate! And if you haven't seen the new stamps yet, you can see them all HERE and they're all on sale!

This is the card that I made for Lorie's challenge. This challenge is to create a Christmas card but you CAN'T use RED or GREEN.
I stamped and paper pieced that adorable snowman using the new July SOTM set. I added some stickles to his hat and did a dotted pen line around the mat. The snowflake was cut from Winter Lace and I added glitter to it. I stamped the sentiment onto a circle mat using My Craft Spot's Tiny Doilies Dies and added it with a pop dot to the snowflake.
I also added some ribbon and a paper clip to the card.

For the second challenge hosted by Cindy, you are to create a Summer Vacation themed project.
I made this fun surf board card.
I used a SVG Cutting Files file called Surfer Boy Corey for all the cuts. I created the card by welding 2 surf boards together and stamped the background with the Peachy Keen Tropical Floral stamp set. I stamped the face using Peachy Keen's Wide Eyed Kids 1 1/8 inch stamp set and the sentiment and star fish are from the June SOTM set. To finish I added some twine around the surf board and a wooded arrow the I inked to color it.

I am going to enter this card into the SVG Cutting Files June Heat Wave Challenge.

I hope you all liked my cards and will play along in the challenges! Have a great weekend!

Day 5 Of My Craft Spot's Stamp Release Party

Hello everyone! It's the last day of sneak peeks for My Craft Spot's new releases! Tomorrow we will be having a BLOG HOP with the full release of the stamp sets! There will also be a new stamp set up for grabs at every stop in the hop.
Today we are showing sneak peeks of the new Mistletoe stamp set.
I am always giving gift cards for Christmas and wanted a fun "wrapping" for them. I decide to give this a try and LOVE how it turned out. Not only does it hold the gift card, but you can also hang it on your tree!
I cut 2 of the stocking from Christmas Cheer at 9.21 inches. One for the front and one for the back. I lined them up and trimmed off the top cuffs. I used tacky tape and glued the sides together and added the snowflake and tree. I also embossed the toe and cuff of the stocking. I cut a 2 1/4 X 4 inch piece of cardstock for the gift card and glued it to the insides, sandwiched,  of the cuff.
I created the tag using a tag cut from TBBM and punched an oval for the center. I stamped the sentiment and mounted it using a pop dot. I tied a crinkle ribbon bow and added a punched snowflake with a button and jute string center.
Thanks so much for visiting all week long for the sneak peeks! I hope you enjoyed all the projects I shared this week and have inspired you! Make sure you go to My Craft Spot for the daily prize and come back tomorrow for the BLOG HOP! There will be lots of great projects and a stamp set will be given away at each blog in the hop! Have a great day!

Come On Baby Light My Fire

Happy Friday everyone! Don't you just love the name of my post today? Hee Hee! I love that song and it is so fitting for this card seeing as how I kinda went pyro on it. Pyro? Yes, I lit almost everything on fire! LOL!
I started by emossing the background with the Cuttlebug Snowflakes folder and inking over the high spots with white ink. I then lit all the edges on fire to get this cool look. The snowflake was cut from Winter Lace and I made a rossette and punched the edges with a Martha Stewart border punch. And then, I lit it all the edges on fire. I actually burned down the holes from the border punch so the appear to be open. I stamped the sentiment which is from Whimsical Designs Snow Much Fun stamp set and burned the edges of the mat too. (P.S. Did you know there is a Design Team call going on for Whimsical Designs Stamps? If you're interested head over to Whimsical Designs and click on the contact button at the top of the page.)
To finish I added some ribbon and a bow with a button center. I really like how this technique looks, but be warned, I burnt my fingers a little! LOL!
I am going to enter this into the following challenges:
1. My Craft Spots Monday Challenge- Snow Much Fun
2. Fantabulous Cricut- Snow Fun
3. The Paper Variety- Use a fan fold embellishment
Thanks for looking and have a wonderful weekend!

Scraptastic Mondays Challenge #5

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Scraptastic Mondays! This time the challenge is to create a card or project with a snowman or snowflake with a Winter Wonderland theme. Stephanie from Whimsical Desgins has generously donated her Snow Much Fun stamp set for the winner of this challenge. There will also be a second place winner picked at random for 3 of Cindy's AWESOME digis! Check them out in her store HERE.
I LOVE the way this card turned out! This is one of my FAVORITE of Cindy's digis. It's called Snowman With Wreath. I colored it with colored pencils and added Stickles to the leaves, mittens, and dots to the bow. I mounted it to a mat cut from Love You A Latte. The banner and font was cut from Birthday Bash and I added gems to the corners. I cut the snowflake from Winter Lace and added a gem to this as well. To finish I tied a bow and embossed the background with the Cuttlebug Snowflakes folder. I also finished the inside with matching paper and stamped the sentiment from Whimsical Designs Whimsical Fun Vol. 1 stamp set.
I hope you all like my card and please check out what the other amazingly talented DT has to show you. I can't wait to see what you will create! Have a great day!

Whimsical Designs Stamp Release Blog Hop!

Hello everyone and welcome to the Whimsical Designs Stamp Release Blog Hop! If you came here from Stephanie then you are in the right place! If you just happened to come visit, then you will want to start at the begining at Whimsical Designs so you won't miss anything. Here is my project:

First off I have to tell you that these pictures do NOT do this card justice. No matter how hard I tried I could not get the pictures to show it's true beauty! :(   I cut the snowflakes from Winter Lace. The big one and it's layer was cut at 4 inches and the smaller one was cut at 1.35 inches. I pop dotted the big layer to the mat and layered the small snowflake on top and added a snowflake brad to the center. I embossed the background with the Cuttlebug Snowflakes folder and inked around the edges. The sentiment is stamped from Whimsical Designs Snow Much Fun set....isn't that a gorgeous sentiment? I also inked around the edges of the mat and pop dotted that to the card. I hope you liked my card and thanks for hopping with us today!
I'm sure you want to see the new stamps, so here they are!!! All of these wonderful sets are now for sale in the Whimsical Designs Shop!

These are such WONDERFUL stamps! They have such a great variety of sentiments and the fonts are ADORABLE! I can't tell you how impressed I am with them.

Have An Ice Day!

Good afternoon everyone! This is the card that I did for Fantabulous Cricuts challenge this week. The challenge is Snowy Delight...make something with snow and or snowflakes. I just got Straight From The Nest and found this little gem of a penguin hiding in one of the phrases. Isn't he cute? I cut him at 3 inches and the snowflake I cut from Winter Lace at 1 inch. The paper is from K & Company's Let It Snow paper pack. I used my Swiss Dots folder to emboss the snow and snowflake. I hope you all are having a wonderful day!!!
