South Carolina Squaredy Cat

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at SVG Cutting Files and I am sharing another fun Squaredy Cat card today. This time I am sharing the South Carolina themed one.

I just love this SC Squaredy Cat! The cute backwards hat and surf board are so fun.
I created the card base in my Silhouette program using the South Carolina State file. Before I welded it all together, I layered all my shapes together and welded it all so I knew the exact placement.
I cut the South Carolina Squaredy Cat and South Carolina title that is included with the South Carolina State file and mounted it to the front of the card.

I hope you liked my card and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

Hope You Dig Your Summer

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Jaded Blossom. This month the challenge is "Summer" Create something with a summer theme.

I made up this fun sand bucket for my 2 year old nephew and added that adorable tag I made using my Jaded Blossom supplies.

I added some bubbles, a fish lollipop, a bouncy ball, and a plush shark.

I cut that adorable little boy from the SVG Cutting Files Surfer Boy Corey file and stamped his face with a Peachy Keen Wide Eyed Kids stamp.
The tag was cut using the Jaded Blossom Layered Frame and Journal Die and I added a layer of sand at the bottom also cut with the die. I cut the sentiment banner using the Candy Charms and Banner Dies and stamped the sentiment from the School Rocks stamp set. I attached the boy with pop dots and punched a hole in the upper corner. I thread some twine through the tag and tied it to the bucket handle.

I hope you all will play along in the challenge!
Thanks for visiting and have a great day!

You should have come from Jessica's blog but if not, you'll want to start at the beginning HERE so you don't miss a thing!
Here is what I created for your viewing pleasure this evening....

I made 2 Christmas cards to share with you today.
I just LOVE these super cute ornaments in the SOTM set, so I had to make a card with them!

The ornaments were all stamped and colored from the PKSC-31 July SOTM set.
I stamped the ornament garland from the Singing Elves stamp set and colored it with Copics then did a stitching line with my sewing machine at the top and bottom.
The sentiment is stamped from the July SOTM set and I added it to the card by punching holes in the ends and threading ribbon through.

LOL! Isn't this card so funny?!?! I laugh every time I look at it!
I cut the elf from the SVG Cutting Files Elf Life Set. I hid the face and instead stamped it with the NEW Peachy Keen Christmas In July 1 1/8 inch faces. I mounted him to a mat that I rounded the corners on and added a black dotted line to.
The sentiment is stamped from the Bell Ringer Elves stamps set. I LOVE this sentiment! It just cracks me up! And paired with that fun face, it's too fun!
To finish, I added some buttons to the side of the card.

From here, you'll go to Brigit's Blog. Have fun and enjoy the hop!

PK-1405 Singing Elves, PK-1406 Musical Tree, PK-1407 Christmas Trees and Foliage, PK-1408 Musical Elves, PK-1409 Bell Ringer Elves

Be sure to head on over to the Peachy Keen Blog to check out all the projects made today and to see what you could win!

For my project today, I made these cute little gift bags. These elves are so stinkin cute!

I made these cute little gift bags using 2 of the new elf sets PK-1408 Musical Elves and PK-1409 Bell Ringer Elves.
I colored each one and cut them out. I glued them directly to the bag along with the sentiments which were cut out using the Jaded Blossom Curly Label Die. I did a black stitching line around each label and also glued them directly onto the bags.
For the top closure, I punched 2 holes and thread some twine through tying it in a bow. I also added some bell brads by threading them through the holes and closing them in the back.

Thanks for visiting and have a great day! I'll see you back here tomorrow for the full release and Blog Hop!
Make sure to head over to the PK Blog to see what prizes can be won today and to see all the wonderful projects made with these stamp sets!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!

Hello everyone and HAPPY 4TH OF JULY! Today I am sharing a project that I did with the new Virginia Squaredy Cat. She's so patriotic looking that I just had to do a 4th of July project.

This was a fun project to create. This is the SAFE alternative to sparklers. I have always been very leery of sparklers and so I made up this little gift pack with glow sticks for my 2 1/2 year old nephew.

I created the topper by cutting the mat from the Jaded Blossom Card Mat Dies and mounted it to a piece of cardstock that I folded in half. I put 3 Glo Sticks into a 1X8 Inch Clear Bag and glued to the topper on.
I cut the Virginia Squaredy Cat and mounted it on pop dots. The sentiment banner is cut with the Jaded Blossom Mini Tag Dies and the sentiment is stamped from the Peachy Keen USA stamp set. This was a free stamp set from last year's Peachy Keen 4th of July Sale.

I hope you all liked my project and thanks for visiting!
Have a FUN and SAFE
4th Of July!

 Day 1 HERE
Day 2 HERE

Isn't this die amazing?? There are SO many different things you can do with it!
Here is what I created for the hop...
I created this fun double pocket style candy bag. I will include a tutorial for you to be able to replicate it with your new Candy Caddy Die.

For my project I cut the Chibi Tiger from SVG Cutting Files and stamped the sentiment using the Jaded Blossom Go Wild stamp set.

TUTORIAL
This is a pic of the cuts you need from the die.
1-outer wrapper
4- total of bottom box pieces trimmed as instructed below.
You will also need to score the center of the outer wrapper die. Make sure to work this score line really well so it moves easily.

You are going to cut off the top tabs on 2 of the bottom box pieces and the top and bottom tabs of the other 2. (See picture 1 for example)
Then you are going to assemble bottom box on the 3 sides left and glue together. The second strip is going to get glue on the outside of the tabs and then glued to open side of box to create pocket. Placing tabs to inside of 3 sided box. This will leave you with a pocket with open top.

Next you will glue the pockets in, lining them up with the second dotted score line. Make sure to glue the side with just the outer tabs to the wrapper. This way when you glue down the bottom, your pocket will be nice and secure with no gaps. Glue in the second side by repeating the same as first. Now glue down the bottoms of the box to center of wrapper. I added glue to the wrapper and then folded it up so the bottom will line up perfectly.
Now you have a pocket box! Decorate to your liking!
Here is another set of pictures of my completed project.

I added some Laffy Taffy to the inside of the pockets!
