Why DID The Chicken Cross The Road?

Hello everyone! I have a card to share with you today that I made using my Peachy Keen Stamps and a couple of files from SVG Cutting Files. This card just makes me laugh! Why DID the Chicken Cross The Road? Hmmmmm.....

I started this card by cutting the base using the SVG Cutting Files Curved Card Base. I stamped the question marks on it using the Retro-bet Round stamp set and colored them in with Copic Markers.
The chick was cut from the Chickadees file and I stamped the face with a PK Chickies Faces 1 1/8 inch stamps. I angled the head into her hand a little more than was supposed to be to make it like she was thinking.
I added some velum paper to the back of the lenses on the glasses and some gems to the corners. I also added simple strips of paper to the sides for the bows on the glasses.
The sentiment was stamped using the Clucks Sentiments stamp set and I used a marker to highlight the "DID".

I hope you all enjoyed seeing my card and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

A Special Treat From The Easter Bunny

Hello everyone! I wanted to play along in the monthly challenge at Jaded BlossomThe theme of this challenge is Easter so I made a treat holder card using the Nugget Card Vertical file from SVG Cutting Files. This is such a neat card design!

I cut the card from the SVG Cutting Files Nugget Card Vertical file and that adorable bunny from the Chibi Kids as Forrest Animals file. I stamped the bunnies eyes with the Peachy Keen Teddy Bear faces and the girls face with the new Cartoon Bombshell faces.
The sentiment was stamped using Jaded Blossoms Easter Treats 2 stamp set and I used the Candy Wrap Dies to cut the wraps for the candy.

I hope you all liked my project and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

What's The Word?

Hello everyone! It's Face Day at Peachy Keen and I am the host! I LOVE my Peachy Keen faces!
I always say, "You can never have too many PK Face stamps" LOL! They add such character to otherwise plain die cuts.
AND these NEW Cartoon Bombshell faces are SO COOL! I love the retro look they have.

This card reminds me of my Grandma SO much! She always had curlers in her hair and was always asking what the new gossip was.

The card base was cut from SVG Cutting Files Oval Card Base and the girl from the The Neighborhood cut file. I stamped the girls face with the new Cartoon Bombshell Face's 1 1/8 inch stamp and colored her eyes with Copic Markers. ( *HINT*) I cut all my flesh pieces in white paper and color them with Copic markers to get that shaded look. This helps to give the face more depth and personality.
I also used my White Gel pen to add the white dots to the centers of her eyes and the highlights on her curlers. .
The TV I created using the new 50's Stamp set. I stamped the squares and stamped the circle stamps to the bottom half. Then I stamped and colored the antenna and glued it to the back of the TV. The center is a cut rectangle and the sentiment was stamped with the new April Stamp Of The Month set.

ALL of these stamps are available for sale now! Check them out HERE in the store.
You can also still play along in the current challenge HERE.
Well, that does it for my project today. I hope you all enjoyed seeing my card and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

And here is my project that I made using some of these fabulous new stamps!

I cut the Fry Box from SVG Cutting Files Elf Fry Box file and a bunch of rounded top rectangles for the fries. After all the rectangles were cut, I layered them on top of each other and glued them together and then to the inside front of the fry box.
I stamped and colored the burger from the April SKOTM set and the soda cup from The 5o's stamp set. Both of the faces were stamped from the April SKOTM set also.
I cut them out and mounted them to the front of the box using pop dots.
I stamped the sentiment onto a banner using the new Retro-bet Round stamp set and attached it to the box with a brad.
To finish, I added a treat bag to the inside of the box and tied it closed with some twine.

PK Sneak Peeks Day 4

FACEBOOK STICKER BLOG HOP HERE!

Welcome back to our 4th and final night of sneak peeks for the Peachy Keen Stamps April Release!  It’s been a GREAT week, hasn’t it?  We’re so excited to share this entire release with you that we can hardly stand it!   It’s not long now!  These new stamps will go live in The Peachy Keen Stamps Store at 6:00 p.m. CDT tomorrow, Saturday, April 5th.
For our last night of sneak peeks, we bring you brilliant creations made with the Flamingo Phrases and PKSC-28 April 2014 stamp sets!!!

Along with using the new Flamingo Phrases, I also used the April Stamp Kit Of the Month for those beautiful flamingos.
I stamped and paper pieced the flamingos onto a SVG Cutting File Oval Card Base. I lined them up with their noses touching so their heads/necks almost make a complete heart shape. I added an extra strip of the decorative paper at the bottom and stamped the sentiment using the Flamingo Phrases stamp set.
I also have a second card to share. I thought it would be fun to show that these FUN sentiments didn't HAVE to be used with just flamingos!

The bird girl was cut from SVG Cutting Files Chibi Kids as Spring Icons and I stamped the faces using the NEW Cartoon Bombshell Face Assortment.  I also stamped the leaves from the April SOTM set with Versa Mark Ink and chalked them green and blue. I glued these to the back of the bird along with some real feathers to create her tail feathers.
I stamped the sentiment using the new Flamingo Phrases onto a banner and added a glittery bow.

Now, how would YOU like to have a chance to win these stamp sets we’re working with tonight?  Well, here’s your chance!   All you have to do is leave a comment and if you stop by The Peachy Keen Stamps Blog, you’ll see more amazing designer creations with links to their blogs, so that you can visit them and enter for MORE chances to win!  The more you comment the better your chances of winning!!
See ya at the HOP tomorrow night!  Same time… Same place!!

A Complete Blog Line up is located for you below my post in case you get lost along the way.

And now for my project!

This turned out so cute! This is one of my fav sticker lines from Facebook.
I started by cutting out the Kawaii Beaker Box from SVG Cutting Files but opted to hide the face. I also cut out the Science Girl FB Sticker and pop dotted it to the box.
I stamped the sentiment onto the banner using Jaded Blossoms Science Matters and mounted it the bottle stem. For the bottom, I punched some circles and stamped the sentiment from the Science Candies stamp set.

Bunny Gable Box

Hello everyone! Today is my day to post at SVG Cutting Files and I have a fun project to share. This is a new file that will be in the store today called Bunny Gable Box. This box turned out so cute and it is SUPER easy to put together!

I cut the box out with my Cameo and opted to stamp the eyes on rather than use the ones that come with the file. I stamped them using Peachy Keen Moodies 2 1/4 inch face stamps. I used some chalk to color the cheeks and ears and colored the eyes with Copic markers.
I stamped a banner with a sentiment from Jaded Blossom's Easter Treats 2 stamp set and added a twine bow. I attached it to the box using a pop dot.

I hope you all liked my project and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!
