February Peachy Keen Sketch Challenge

Hello everyone! It's a new year and that means some new things happening at Peachy Keen. This is the first of the 2 challenges this month. There will be 2 challenges each month with a specific sketch that will run from the 1st though the13th and a color challenge that will run from the 15th through the 28th of each month. That gives you almost 2 weeks to play along in each challenge. 

Here is the sketch we are working with for this challenge

And here is the card that I created using my Peachy Keen stamps

I cut the cupcake child out using SVG Cutting Files Chibi Kids as Valentine Icons using my Cameo. 

I stamped the face using Peachy Keen's Moodies Face Assortment and colored it in using Copic Markers and a white gel pen. 

I added a glittered edge to the frosting with a Viva Decor glitter pen and also went around the white mats and added dots using it too. 

To finish, I stamped the sentiment using Peachy Keen PKSC-25 January 2014 Stamp Of The Month set.

I'm Hot For You

Hello everyone! This is my last Guest Designer post for Jaded Blossom and I am sharing a really fun project!

 Before I get to my project, I just want to say THANK YOU to Candace and Michelle for letting me Guest Design at Jaded Blossom this month. I had so much fun!

SO, for my project today, I made this Valentine hot chocolate card pouch. Who says hot chocolate can't be used as a Valentine treat? LOL!

I created the Card Pouch using this TUTORIAL. I used the Jaded Blossom Candy Wrap Dies to cut out the handle and added the heart borders using the Valentine Dies. 

The cup of cocoa and marshmallows were cut using the SVG Cutting Files Kawaii Hot Chocolate and I stamped the faces with the NEW Peachy Keen Sweet On You Face Assortment. 

I stamped the sentiment on the outside using the JB Kawaii Sentiments and stamped the inside sentiment and heart candy icon using the Sprinkled With Love stamp set.

Snowflake Box

Hello everyone! I wanted to share this project with you that I made. I used the NEW Peachy Keen Sweet On You Face Assortment for that fun face on the snowflake.

The box is a cut file from SVG Cutting Files called Kawaii Lunch Box. I just opted not to add the handle to it. I used some really neat paper from the DCWV Winter Solstice stack and added some silver brads to decorate it. 

The Snowflake is another SVG Cutting File and it's a freebie that you can find in the Free section in the store. I stamped that adorable face using the NEW Peachy Keen Sweet On You Face Assortment.

The sentiment is stamped using My Craft Spot's Think Snow stamp set and I added a snowflake brad to the top.

SUPER EXCITING NEWS

Hello everyone! I have some SUPER EXCITING NEWS!!! I have been invited back to the Peachy Keen Design Team for another term! Whoop Whoop!!!

With the start of the New Year, there will be some really exciting changes taking place at Peachy Keen and I can't wait to share them with you. 

I am also looking forward to designing with some old friends as well as some new ones.

I created this card to accompany my exciting announcement using Peachy Keens  Lil' Tweets Bird-day stamp set. AND guess what? I have another one of these stamp sets that I will be GIVING AWAY!
 All you have to do is be a follower of my blog and leave a comment on this post. I will announce the winner on Friday.

I stamped and colored the bird on to circle mats. I colored him using Copic markers and inked the edges of the circles. I used My Craft Spot's Ribbon Banner Dies-Straight and stamped the sentiment onto the white one. I added another banner to the corner with a star brad and used a pin to add the stitching holes. To finish, I added some twine with a bow.

This Is Gonna Sting A Little

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at SVG Cutting Files and I have a fun treat box to share. 

I used the NEW Cupids In Cloud cutting file that is in the store TODAY!

I started by cutting the Chunky Candy Tube Holder-Square from SVG Cutting Files and the Cupid Boy from the Cupids In Cloud set. I stamped his face with a Peachy Keen Sweet and Innocent face stamp and added some glitter to his wings. 

I stamped the sentiment on the banner using the Peachy Keen Cupids Sting stamp set. I cut out the paper for the candies using the Jaded Blossom Candy Wrap Dies and I added them to a  1 X 5.5 Inch Clear Rectangle Tube from Jaded Blossom. To finish, I added the die cut hearts from the Jaded Blossom Valentine Die set.

I Ruff You Valentine Treat Box

Hello everyone! Valentines Day is fast approaching and I wanted to share this sweet nugget treat box that I made. I used the new SVG Cutting Files Nugget Matchbox Base file to make the box. This box fits 4 Hershey Nuggets perfectly.

All of the stamped images are from Peachy Keen's August 2013 SOTM set. 

I stamped and paper pieced the dog and I used the coordinating SVG cut file to cut out the base mat for him. I stamped the tag and added it to his collar. I added on a layered heart and glued a silver Hot Rock onto it using my I-Rock.

The sentiment was stamped onto My Craft Spot's Ribbon Banner Dies-Straight and I added a red mat behind it. To complete the front I added more layered hearts.

For the inside candy, I stamped the bones onto Jaded Blossom's Candy Wrap Dies. I colored the pink ones with Copic Markers and the white ones I colored in using a white gel pen.

Champagne And Strawberries

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at Digi My World and I have a super cute card to share. I used the NEW Stella's Valentine Digital Stamp set for that sweet girl.

I printed the girl and colored her with Copic Markers. I added some Burlap Ribbons by crossing them over each other. 

I stamped the sentiment using the Jaded Blossom Sprinkled With Love stamp set onto the Candy Wrap Die. I hand cut around the stitching line on the white and trimmed off the side to go to the edge of the card. 

To finish, I mounted the image and sentiment mats on pop dots.

You Make Nerdy Look Good

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at Jaded Blossom and I wanted to share a project with you. I am just loving these fun sentiments in the Kawaii Sentiments stamp set!

I created a notebook holder for my project today.

I made the notebook holder with a custom design and used a template for the pencil holder. You can find the template for the pencil holder HERE. 

To create the notebook cover, I cut a piece of cardstock at 8 1/2 X 7 1/8 inches. I scored it with the 7 1/8 inch side up at 3 and 3 1/4. I glued in a notebook adding the closure to the underside of the notebook before I glued it down. I used the Candy Wrap Dies for the closure tab with a velcro dot. I also added the stamped calculator using the Science Candies and layered it on punched circles. 

I cut the cat from the SVG Cutting Files Steve The Nerdy Cat. I added some Glossy Accents to his glasses and used my I-Rock to add some silver hot rocks to his suspenders. 

To finish, I stamped the sentiment using the Kawaii Sentiments onto the Curly Label Die.

That's How I Roll

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at the Jaded Blossom Blog as Guest Designer and today I am sharing a treat bag that I did with my Jaded Blossom supplies. I used the NEW Kawaii Sentiments for that fun sentiment. I thought this sentiment was perfect to go with this kitty and ball of yarn.

I created the bag topper by using the Jaded Blossom Layered Frame and Journal Die. I cut it out of white and folded it in half. The pink was also cut using the die and I just hand trimmed around the inside stitched lines. 

I cut the kitty using the SVG Cutting Files Oliver file and stamped the face with a Peachy Keen Here Kitty Kitty face stamp. I stamped the sentiment using the Kawaii Sentiments and attached it to a 2.25 X 8 Inch Clear Bag.

I also added a strip of paper to the center of the bag and I stamped that sentiment using the Valentine Treat Tag stamp. This was the free stamp that you received with the January Release.

Hot Diggity Dog

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at SVG Cutting Files. This month the challenge is "Just A Card" Create a card.

I made this card for my project today. The expression on this dog's face just cracks me up. This is usually the look on my face when I have another birthday LOL!

I cut the card base using the SVG Cutting File Wave Card Base and the dog was cut from the Chihuahua Pup file. I did a little pen work on him using a white gel pen and added a ribbon to the card.

I used My Craft Spot's Ribbon Banner Dies-Straight for the sentiment tag and stamped the sentiment using the Peachy Keen Hot Diggity Dog stamp set. I also stamped the sentiment at the bottom using the Peachy Keen Rocket Blast stamp set.

Belly Laughs

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday! Today I am sharing a card that I did with one of the NEW Peachy Keen add on stamp sets called Diddle Diddle. This little dog makes me smile every time I see it!
I am also going to share this in the Peachy Keen LINKY PARTY! This is something new they are starting this month. Create anything with the January Release stamps and come link it up HERE for a chance at a FREE Stamp Of The Month Set!

I stamped the dog and sentiment using the Diddle Diddle stamp set and colored the dog with Copic Markers.  I added some pennant banners to the bottom of the card that I cut using My Craft Spot's Ribbon Banner Dies-Straight. I added a button to the center banner and used my sewing machine to stitch around the entire card.

I Love You With All My Heart

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing a super cute card that I made with a Digital Stamped Image from Digi My World. The name of this stamp set is Puppy Love and it is available in the store NOW! 

I printed and colored the girl using Copic Markers. I also used a white gel pen for the highlights on the hearts.

I rounded the corners on my mats with a corner rounder and inked the inside mat with gray ink. I cut the sentiment banner using My Craft Spot's Ribbon Banner Dies-Straight and stamped the sentiment using Peachy Keen PKSC-01 January 2012 stamp set.

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Jaded Blossom's January 2014 Release Blog Hop.   Now if you're here from Candace P you're in the right place, if you're just passing thru start at the beginning because you don't wanna miss anything.  I also have the complete line up at the bottom. Here is what I made: A Valentine Treat Bucket

I picked up the bucket from Micheals and added the cute tag to it with some fun candies too.
I cut the tag using the SVG Cutting File Fancy Fold Over Card Base file and only used the insert to create my tag.
I cut the puppy from the SVG Cutting File Floppy Ear Dog file and stamped the eyes using a Peachy Keen Happy Go Lucky Dog face stamp. I added a punched heart layered with the smaller heart cut from the JB Valentine Dies (this is the inside heart of the key) and the button heart at the top on my bow. I made the bow using the Burlap Ribbons that you can find in the Jaded Blossom store and tied the heart button die with some twine. To finish, I stamped the sentiment using the Sprinkled With Love stamp set.
I used the Candy Wrap Dies to cut out the paper wraps for my candies and added more of the die cut shapes from the Valentine Die set.

Jaded Blossom Day 5 Morning

Hi Everyone, It's Release Day over at Jaded Blossom!  We hope you all enjoyed our projects this week.

Here is what I made: A Valentine Treat Bag

I cut the bag file from SVG Cutting Files Crafty Catch All Caddy.

I stamped only part of the sentiment from the Valentine Treat Tag onto the Curly Label Die and added a black stitch line around it. I also colored in the "Valentine" with a Copic marker and added stickles to the hearts. I also used the Valentine Dies to cut the heart border and attached that to the top of the bag. 

I stamped the candy images from the Valentine Bingo stamp set and added them to some Hershey Kisses.

I stamped the sentiments on to the pockets using the Valentine Bingo stamp set and heat embossed them in white.
