8 pm Cuttlebug Challenge
For this challenge you were to create a piece of jewelry with your cuttlebug embossing folder. I decided to make a wine glass charm. I embossed some metal sheeting with the Snowflakes folder and then punched it out with my circle punch. I added some beads I wired together and added them to the circle medallion.

7 am CC Resist Card

For this challenge you were to follow the tutorial to make a resist card. I don't own the supplies needed to do this card so I tried my own way and this is what I came up with. Instead of embossing and heating the snowflake image, I rubbed wax from a candle all over the snowflake. It didn't turn out perfect but I think the effect is kind of neat. I cut the snowflake from Accent Essentials and the scallop circle from Live Simply. The back white layer is embossed with Spots n' Dots.

3 pm CC Christmas Layout

For this challenge you were to make a scrapbook layout and do 2 kinds of dry embossing with one of them being a punch that's embossed. For my layout I cut 3 polar bears from Live Simply and tore a piece of white cardstock to make it look like snow. I then embossed it with Divine Swirls and mounted it on behind the bears. The snowflakes are punched out and them embossed with Swiss Dots. The phrase is actually fromv2 different carts. The "Christmas" is from Hoot n' Holler( Hoo loves Christmas) and the "A Wish" is from "Make A Wish" from Sweet Treats. I also added little jewels all over the page to give it some sparkle.

For this challenge you were to cover a photo album or a book. I used coordinating papers and ribbon. Then I cute a square of solid red and a green tree from Doodlecharms. I used Swiss Dots on the tree and inked it with white ink.

For this challenge you had to create a tin ornament. I embossed the back with Spots n Dots and then chalked it blue. I cut out this little snowman from decorative paper and added snowflade buttons and white beads.

Jitterbuggin Sketch #10

Here is my entry for Jitterbuggin's weekly challenge. You had to use black, white, one more color, the sketch, a punch and a cricut cut. I cut the skunk out from Live Simply and the smaller circles are punched and the big one is cut from George. The sentiment is stamped.

For this challenge you were to design a file on your Gypsy or in Design Studio that you could use both the cut and the waste. Here is my card I designed in DS. I used Swiss Dots on both and on the red " waste" one I added some red gems. Both cards are outlined in silver and gold.

For this challenge you were to make a card with Noel on it. I couldn't use the .Cut file supplied because I don't have the Christmas Cart that was used in the file....so I made my own in Design Studio using George. The bell I cut from Independense Day (altered a little, so there was no crack). I also added some stitching with my white gel pen.

For this challenge you were to make a can of Santa Soup. I printed off the poem on my computer, hand wrote "Santa Soup" in white gel pen, and used a santa sticker for the main image. The tag I also printed on my computer and mounted it to a tag I cut from TBBM and embossed with Swiss Dots.

For this challenge you were to create a photo frame out of a CD case. I cut some trees and snowmen from decorative paper and a border for the bottom to look like snow. I also cut a photo mat from white and used Swiss Dots on it. The sentiment is stamped and mounted to red and then white paper embossed with Divine Swirls. On the front I cut out the year on my Cricut using George.

For this challenge you were to make a 3D christmas tree. Here is my version of it. I cut out the triangle box from TBBM. I didn't have a cricut cut that resembled a branch so I punched out a ton of snowflakes. I then inked them with white and folded them in half and then glued them to the tree. The star I created in Design Studio using the star from George and the curly Q's from Accent Essentials.

For this challenge you were to make a tile coaster. I used permanent pens to draw on my design. I don't have some of the materials needed to do this project exactly like the tutorial.

For this challenge you had to make a luminary. You could use the CUT. file or make up your own. I designed mine in Design Studio with Create A Critter and then put it together. I then cut and scored some velumn and placed it inside to create the shade.

For this challenge you were to figure out a way to incorporate snowmen into your home decor. I decided to make a snowman candle sleeve. I cut a 1x12 inch strip to go around the candle. I cut the snowman from Doodlecharms and cut the scarf from Create A Critter. Then I put some bubble eyes on him to add a little charm.

For this challenge you had to make a bow. I used double sided paper and followed the tutorial to make my own bow. It wasn't hard, but unless its for someone really special I think I will buy my bows. Its held together with glue dots and I don't think that it will stay together for long. It is cute though! And big.....5 inches wide.

For this challenge you had to create a holiday card using only white and one other color. You also were to add something glittery....glitter, glitter mist, rhinestones, ect. The scene is a sticker, the sentiment was stamped, and I added 3 red rhinestones. The background is embossed with the Swiss Dots folder.

For this challenge you had to make at least 3 Create A Lot cards using the tutorial. It had to have a repeatable pattern and you had to use the Cuttlebug. You could make up your own pattern also, but I used Betty's. These are a great card to make in mass. They went together really quick and you can change them up a little. I cut the scallop frame from Accent Essentials and used the Swiss Dots and Divine Swirls cuttlebug folders.

This challenge was to make a tag using scrap pieces of paper. I had this leftover piece of border from a Martha Stewart border pad and it worked perfect for this little penguins scarf, the bottom and even the circle around the tag hole. I cut the penguin at 2 inches from Create A Critter and used the Divine Swirls Cuttlebug folder to emboss the tag. The sentiment is stamped. On to the next one :)

For this challenge you had to create a Christmas card with a scene and ink emboss with your Cuttlebug folder. Mine came out ok. It streaked in some places but filled in all the dots so it looks like its snowing. I cut the fame and snowflakes out using Accent Essentials. I also embossed double line all around the edge of the white layer. I glittered the snowflakes and pop dotted them on.

This challenge was to make a snowflake card. I cut my snowflake and octagon out using my cricut and Accent Essentials. I also embossed the dark blue with Swiss Dots Cuttlebug floder. The snowflake I chose to cut out had pieces that were part of the design but not connected so I glued them to the inside of my card.

This challenge was to make a star shaped card. I did mine with my cricut and cut out the stars using George and Basic Shapes. I used some of these cute House Mouse stickers and a stamped sentiment. I also embossed lines on the edges of the star to make it like candy cane stripes. I don't own many Cuttlebug embossing folders so you will lots of the same patterns. I actually only have 2 that can be used for Christmas type things. I followed along with the directions and this is the cute little card I came up with. Hope you all like it. It was SUPER EASY to do!

Midnight CC Z Fold Card

Merry Christmas!!!!! I will be posting lots of stuff today. I have been working all morning and afternoon on the hourly challenges over at Cuttlebug Challenges. They have a 24 hour challenge going on and every hour since midnight there has been a new challenge. I am going to post them all with hour and project. For this one you had to make a Z Fold card. I followed the directions at CC and added my own twist to it. I've never made a card like this before but I think it's kinda neat. Hope you all will check out "Christmas Day" over at CC. I'm loving it!

Cardz TV Christmas Card Challenge #4

Hello everybody. Here is the card I made for Cardz TV Christmas Card Challenge #4. This week you had to use a tree in your project. I used the one from Create A Critter. I then embellished it with a star brad at the top and different colored circle one as bulbs on the tree. The sentiment is a sticker and the border is from a Martha Stewart border pad. Penguin Card

Good afternoon everybody! This is the card I made for Cuttlebug Challenges and The Cuttlebug Spot. At CC you had to make a Christmas card and use this sketch and at TCS it is Christmas in July. Of course you have to emboss somwhere on your project. The penguin is cut from Create A Critter and the hat was cut from Paper Doll Dress Up. It is actually the hat from the santa cut. I glittered it to give it some bling and I used Swiss Dots and Divine Swirls Cuttlebug folders for the embossing.

Polar Bear Box

Here is my entry for Fantabulous Cricut and Creatalicious Challenges. FC's challenge is Christmas in July and CC's challenge is anything goes in 3D. This "snowflake" box is actually the flower box from Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More cut fit to page. I trimmed the petals to a point to make it look like a snowflake. Then I cut snowflake paper 1/8 smaller than the sides of the box and glued them on to all the sides. The polar bear is cut from Live Simply and the snowflakes on the sides are cut from Accent Essentials. I cut 4 snowflakes total and glittered 2 of them and then pop dotted them to the plain ones. I also pop dotted the polar bear's legs. The top of the box I also glittered and added gems to give it lots of bling. I hope you all like it! I did get a little bling happy but I think it's cute! :)

Jitterbuggin' Pastel Challenge

Hi everyone! I found a new challenge site today and decided to make a card to enter in their challenge. It's called Jitterbuggin' Challenge and they do weekly cricut challenges. This month's top prize is Sentimentals Cricut Cartridge! This week the challenge was this sketch (above) and you had to:

1. Use pastel colors

2. Add a cricut cut sentiment

3. Add at least one button.
So this is what I came up with. I used B is for Boy cart for all the cuts. I just adore this little zebra! I hope you all are having a great week! Take Care!

Frog Card

This is the card I am entering in Cuttlebug Challenges this week. The challenge this week is to make your project with a garden critter in it. (One with legs) The whole card is cut from Paisley. I welded it all together in Design Studio. On the frog I used Swiss Dots and Divine Swirls on the mushroom. They are having a Christmas in July Festival starting next week. You should check it out!

Ice Cream Sprinkles

Here is my entry for this week over at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge. The challenge this week was to make a "Cool Yummy Treat w/ Optional Shape Card". I put a twist on mine and made a sour cream container and filled it with sprinkles for your ice cream. There's a great tutorial here for making sour cream containers. They are really cute and easy to make. I used Sweet Treats to cut out the ice cream cone and the tag. I glittered and used Glossy Accents on my cone for a little pizzaz. I hope you all like it.

SSC # 67 Butterfly Card

Here is the card I made for Stamptactular Sunday Challenge # 67. You were to use the sketch above and have a stamped image somewhere in your card. The butterfly is a stampin' up stamp and the sentiment is from the Vivienne and Friends stamp set from Peachy Keen. This is the first card I've done that hasn't had a Cricut cut somewhere on it since I got my Cricut, but this looked like a fun sketch! Have a great day everyone!
