You Rock!

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week the challenge is "Cute Critter". Create a project and include a cute critter.
I made this fun card to share with you today. I really wanted to get out of the norm and make a fun shaped card.
I cut the card base and mat from Life's A Party. I added a black stitching line around the outside and used my I-Rock to add some hot rocks to the corners. The fox was cut from Birthday Bash and I stamped the face with a Peachy Keen stamp. I think this face is PERFECT for this fun guy, with his tongue sticking out and all! LOL!
The arrow I created by welding the curved and straight arrows together from Accent Essentials. After it was cut out, I had to trim off the excess and added a white stitching line to it. The sentiment tag was created by using My Craft Spot's Lacy Banners Dies and the sentiment is from Tiny Tags 2.
I hope you will all play along in the challenge and please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created! Have a great day!

What Planet Are You From?

I put him on an action wobble!

Hello everyone and HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! I have another card to share that I did with the cross promotion with Freckled Fawn and some NEW stamps that were released yesterday at Peachy Keen. There are several new sentiment stamp sets and 2 new face sets! I LOVE me some PK faces! LOL! You can never have to many!

I cut the card and alien from Life's A Party and stamped the face with one of the NEW face stamp sets called Sweet And Silly Face Assortment. (LOVE LOVE LOVE these faces!) I also put him on an action wobble. I stamped the sentiment with one of the NEW sentiment stamp sets called Twinkle Twinkle Sentiments and added some wood arrow pieces from Freckled Fawn that I inked to color them.
Here are the new Peachy Keen stamps that I used on this card

As an added bonus, we are giving away a $50 Gift Certificate to the Peachy Keen Store!  One lucky person will win this! How do you enter? Simply comment on all the Freckled Fawn posts throughout the week for a chance. The more Freckled Fawn/Peachy Keen blogs posts you comment on, the more chances you have to win!
Thank so much for stopping in and have a great day!

Monkey Pick Me Up

Good morning everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter! I ate WAY too much, but enjoyed spending time with my family. It also happened to be my anniversary yesterday.
Here is card #2 for the PK Connection challenges. This one was a sketch challenge
The monkey was cut from Life's A Party and I stamped his face with a PK Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed face stamp. The oval mats were cut from Plantin Schoolbook. I hand cut the sentiment banners and stamped all the sentiments from Whimsical Designs.
I hope you all have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Rock Princess Birthday Gift Card Holder

Hello everyone! Here is a gift card holder Birthday card that I made. I used my Imagine for all the cuts and pattern papers. I saw this card on Gloria's bog while I was "casing it" for the Crafty Sprouts challenge and thought it would be fun to make.

I cut the girl from Rock Princess ar 3.5 inches and used Glossy Accents on her eyes, lips, hairbands, guitar, and boots. The music notes were cut from Life's A Party and I also used Glossy Accents on them as well. The music paper was printed from Imagine More and the pink paper was printed from Mr. Frosty. I tied a ribbon and stamped the sentiment and the sentiment on the inside which is from Whimsical Designs Everyday Sentiments.
For the inside of the card I made the gift card holder and glued it to the center of the card. To do this I cut a 4.5 X 11 inch piece of cardstock and scored it at 3 inches from each long end and then scored it at 5.5 inches in the middle. When you fold it you will got the shape of the letter W. I then trimmed the middle peak down with scissors and a punch to get the pocket for the gift card. I wanted a larger card than just the gift card holder itself so thats why I glued it to the center of the card. I then added the pink paper over the top of the panels to hide the gift card holder inside. This card is VERY thick! LOL!
I am going to enter this into the following challenges:
1. Crafty Sprouts- Case the DT- I cased Gloria's gift card holder card, you can enter up to 2 times
2. Scrappy Moms Terrific Tuesday- Rock Princess
3. Birthday Sundaes- Any Birthday card and include a birthday sentiment on the front
I hope you all liked my card and thanks for looking! Have a wonderful weekend!
