Eat Cake Bear Card
Hello everyone! This is the card that I made to enter into Tattered Time's CCCC and Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday challenges. Both challenges require that you use Camping Critters. I thought this would make a great guy birthday card!
I made the card base by welding 2 postage stamps together in my Gypsy from Create A Critter. The bear was cut at 3.5 inches from Camping Critters. I used a white gel pen to highlight his eyes and napkin. I also used a marker and colored his nose black. The cake was cut from Simply Charmed at 2 inches and I omitted the face. To finish my card I tied the ribbon, stamped the sentiment, and added a white stitching line around the outside of the card. I hope you all are having a great day and thanks for looking!

Strawberry Card
Hello everyone and HAPPY FRIDAY! This is the card that I made to enter into Fantabulous Cricuts challenge. This week the challenge is to use a melon or some other fruit.
I made the card base in my Gypsy by welding 2 scallop frames together at 5 inches from Live Simply. I cut the rest of the mats at the same size. The strawberry was cut from Simply Charmed at 3.5 inches. I printed the sentiment off my computer and hand cut the tag. To finish I added twine and attatched the tag to it. I hope you all like my card and have a great weekend!

Just Be-Paws
Hello everyone! Here is the card that I made for Peachy Keen's LFIF challenge #20. This time the challenge is "So Punny". Use a pun on your project along with a PK face.
I made my card in my Gypsy by welding 2 postage stamps together from Create-A-Critter. The dog was cut from Four Legged Friends at 3 inches. I chalked around his body and stamped his face with a Peachy Keen face stamp. I stamped the sentiment which was from the Scrappy Mom's Furry Friends stamp set. It origanally said Just Be-Claws and I stamped everything except for the C and L and replaced them with a P. The sentiment tag was cut from Once Upon A Princess and the center white I punched with a Fiskars punch. To finish I added a stitching line around the card and sentiment tag and added ribbon. I hope you all like my card and thanks for looking! Have a great day!

CTO Blue and White Challenge
Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Celebrate The Occassion! This time the challenge is to use the colors BLUE and WHITE.
My card is pretty simple. I think this type of card would make a great sympathy card by just changing the sentiment. But I wanted something cheery so this is what I did. I cut the decorative frame and mat from Storybook and 3.5 inches. I used my white gel pen and did some hilighting and dots on the flowers to make them stand out more. I stamped the sentiment and mounted it on pop dots.. The background I embossed with Sizzix Flower Vine folder and added a ribbon. Very simple! :)
I hope you all liked my card and will play along this week. I can't wait to see what you will create! Have a great day!

Nuttin's Better Than Christmas!
Hello everyone! Here is the card that I made to enter into My Craft Spots Monday challenge. This week the challenge is Christmas in July.
I cut the beaver from Winter Frolic and stamped his face with a Peachy Keen face stamp. I used my white gel pen and added the stripes to the scarf and dots to the hat. I also chalked his tail and cheeks and used a black pen to highlight his body. I stamped the sentiment using a Scrappy Mom's stamp combined with a Christmas stamp. I used a punch for the snowflake and added white gems using my I-Rock.
I hope you all liked my card and thanks for looking. Have a great day!
P.S. I am going to be out of town at my sister's Bridal Shower, so if any of you are planning on attending My Pink Stamper Live tonight, and by some miracle I make her Design Team, could you leave me a comment? And or let her know where I am if she asks if I am there? I really have my fingers crossed! :) I will be checking on my phone! Thanks so much!

No Monkey Buisness
Hello everyone! Here is the card that I made for More Than Favors CCCC challenge. This week the challenge is to use Sweethearts.
I made my card using the scallop square from Accent Essentials in my Gypsy by welding 2 together. For the mats I used the rounded square from George and Basic Shapes. One I cut slightly smaller for the mat. I cut the monkey from Sweethearts. I chalked all around his body and his cheeks. I used a white and black pen to do the highlights and mounted his face on pop dots. The bananas were cut from Smiley Cards and I chalked around the edges, used a white gel pen and a brown colored pencil for the hightlights. I also mounted the bananas on pop dots. To finish I did dots around the outside of the card, stamped the sentiment, and hung the monkey from some chocolate truffle twine.
I hope you all are having a great day and thanks for looking!

MPS Design Team Call
Hello everyone! My Pink Stamperhttp://www.mypinkstamper.com/ is holding another Design Team call and I am giving it a go! I love Robyn and her blog. She was the first person I used as a tutor when I first got into "cricuting" and learned so much from her. I would LOVE to be on her DT! For the DT challenge you are to make a project with your favorite Cricut cart and with the colors: orange, green, turquoise, brown and an optional color. I stuck with those 4 colors and didn't add another.
Recipe
Cricut Cartridges: Twinkle Toes (alligator cut at 3 inches) Birthday Bash (banner cut at 3/4 of an inch and font cut at 1/2 inch)
Kraft cardstock
Recollections designer paper pad Bright and Basics
Celebrate It ribbon
Cuttlebug and Swiss Dots folder
Studio G stamp
Stamp'n Up Chocolate Chip Ink
Chalk for cheek
Uniball white pen
ATG gun
Scotch Quick Dry glue
Pop Dots
I hope you all like my card and thanks for looking! Have a great weekend!
P.S. I just wanted to add this in in case anyone else is having a problem with Blogger and not being able to post. I just recently upgraded to Internet Explorer 9 and I couldn't post! If this is the problem you are having I will tell you the EASY way to fix it instead of sitting on your computer for an hour trying to figure it out. When you open the blogger page (or any page) up in the address bar there is the search, the broken piece of paper, refresh, and close. That piece of broken paper is your problem. You need to click on that to make it blue instead of gray and it will fix the problem. If it doesn't work, I am sorry, but this has worked for me ( aside from still not being able to post a link by highlighting) and I have been FREAKING out! :) Hope this can help at least 1 person!

Firework Spinner Card
Hello everyone! Here is a card that I made for several challenges. I cut the flower from Simply Charmed at 6 inches. I cut the 2nd layer twice so I could get the blue center and the center circle twice. I mounted the flower base to a brad loosly so it would spin after I attatched it to the base of the card. The second center layer I stamped with a Peachy Keen face stamp and mounted that to the brad using a glue dot, this way the face always stays the same while the flower part spins. I stamped the stars in the corners with a Stamp'n Up stamp and used my white gel pen for all the stitching. I tried to take a picture of it while it was spinning so you could get the full effect but it didn't show very well. It just turned out blurry. I wish you could see it spin because it looks like a big firework...at least to me it does.
These are the challenges that I am entering this card into
1. M.A.G. Challenge By The Page- Simply Charmed pg. 39 only
2. Crazy About Cricut- Thankful Thursday- Use red, white, and blue
2. Crazy About Cricut- Thankful Thursday- Use red, white, and blue

Tacky Tuesday Challenge #8
Hello everyone! I have a card to show today that I did for the Tacky Tuesday Challenge. This time the challenge is to use some kind of cold treat and use the word sweet.
I printed and cut the banana split sundae from the Yummy cart using my Imagine. I did it in layers and used Glossy Accents on the chocolate sauce, cherry, and bowl. I also cut the circle and scallop circle using the stock images in the Imagine and the pattern paper from Yummy. The sentiment I stamped and cut the banner by hand. I mounted the middle of it to a pop dot and glued down the sides to get the wave effect. I hope you all like my card and thanks for looking! Have a great day!

Whimsical Wednesday Blog Hop
Hello everyone and welcome to the Whimsical Wednesday Blog Hop! If you are coming from Joni's than you're in the right place. If not and you just stopped by please start at the beginning at Whimsical Wednesdays! so you don't miss a thing! For this hop we all made banners/wall decor that will be sent to a nursing home. The link to read more about it is posted on the Whimsical Wednesday Blog.
For my banner/wall decoration, I did this cute sun! I figured this would be something that would make just about anyone smile when they saw it. I cut the sun from Smiley Cards at 11 inches. The smaller sun's were cut at 2 inches and the font was cut from Birthday Bash at 1.5 inches. I assembled the banner by cutting different lenghts of ribbon and staggering them by punching a hole in the big sun and smaller ones and then tying a knot in each side. I did add some scotch tape to the backs of the smaller sun's just to reinforce them.

Christmas In July
Hello everyone! It's time for another challenge at Celebrate The Occasion! This week the challenge is Christmas In July but you CAN'T use the color RED. I made the card in my Gypsy using this star shaped tag from Once Upon A Princess by welding 2 together and cut the circle mat. The snowman was cut from Jolly Holidays at 2.5 inches. I didn't have a small enough face stamp so I used the face from Peachy Keens Vivenne and Friends stamp set. I just used the face from the girl by using my Stamp N' Write marker to color only her face and then stamped it. To finish I added a bow with a snowflake brad, highlighted with a white gel pen, and stamped the sentiment. I hope you will play along this week and I can't wait to see what you will create!
