Hello everyone and welcome to day 3 of My Craft Spot's Fall Release Sneak Peeks! Everyday this week there will be lots of fun projects to see and giveaways each day! We will be having a blog hop on Saturday along with the full reveal of all the new stamp/die sets! We ALL will also be giving away 1 of the new stamp/die sets at each blog in the hop!

Today we are showing sneak peeks of the new Ornate Labels Dies and the Ornate Labels stamp set. There are some seriously SPOOKY but FUN sentiments in this set! If you like the look of the old potion bottles, this set will be perfect for you!

I made some candy bar pencil box's for my project today. I found a template HERE for the box and modified it to be a little shorter.
I used the Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punch for the bottom and made a simple wrap for the white. The monkeys are a fun file from KaDoodle Bug Designs called Franken Monkey Head and I added a stamped mouth using Peachy Keen's Monster Mash Face Assortment stamp set. I gave him some hands by cutting simple ovals using my Cameo.
I used the Ornate Metal Dies to cut out the labels and stamped the background and sentiments using the Ornate Labels-Halloween stamp set. I stamped the backgrounds in color and then used a black pen to color over the birds.

Thanks for stopping in today and I'll be back for Day 4 tomorrow. Don't forget to go to My Craft Spot for the daily prize and the other projects from the DT.  Have a great day!

Peachy Keen September Sneak Peeks!

Hello everyone! It's time for some sneak peeks of the new stamps coming out this month at Peachy Keen! I have 3 projects to share with you today.

For my first project, I made a cake gift box. I saw this on Pinterest and you can find a tutorial HERE on how to make them. I changed mine up a bit from the original one.
I started by making a slide cover for the cake box and added some ribbon for handles. I also added a faux opening on the box with a button. I made the pocket for the front and added a spatula and bag of sprinkles. I stamped and colored everything from the NEW September SOTM set and the whist is from a new add on set called In The Kitchen.

My second project I made this fun card! That is one of my fav things and one of my biggest downfalls...eating cookie dough! LOL!
I stamped and colored all the pieces from the New September SOTM set and used PK's Grandma's Bathroom Floor background stamp for the center panel.

For my third project, I made this fun coffee gift basket. This is also a Pinterest inspired picture project. I saw a 4 cup basket HERE and decided to make my own version of one using my Cricut.
I cut the cup holder insert and the bows using the Sweet Tooth Boxes cart and made my own box bottom. I stamped and paper pieced the coffee cup using the New September SOTM set and punched a hole through the top. I threaded some Milk Chocolate Crinkle Ribbon through the tag and tied it to the top of the basket.

Head over to the Peachy Keen Blog to see more of these super cute sneak peeks all week long! And come join in the fun on Thursday September 5th at 6 pm CST at the Peachy Keen Connection for the full release party! There will be lots of inspiration, challenges, and prizes to be won!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping in!

Happy Fall

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Peachy Keen. Here are the details for this weeks photo inspiration challenge:

THE CHALLENGE
Create a project using the photo as inspiration. Interpret the photo ANY way you'd like, just be  sure to let us in on your creative process! The colors next to the photo are only suggested!
We'll be awarding "TOP PEACH" to the player who uses their Peachy Keen Stamps this week and  our two runner ups will receive a spiffy badge to display on their blog!
Guidelines:
- Design must be new
- Link up by 9/4 - 11:59 pm EST

And here is the card that I made. I used the colors mainly as the theme to my card.

I used Peachy Keen's September 2012 SOTM kit for this card and Peachy Keen's In Stitches Face assortment for the scarecrows face.
I colored the scarecrow with Copic markers and paper pieced his shirt. I added a strip of brown paper that I embossed using Tim Holtz's Woodgrain embossing folder to the under neath of his shirt. I also paper pieced the pumpkins and stamped the faces onto them. The little pumpkins I mounted on pop dots. To finish, I stamped the sentiment and I added some raffia and twine for a bow in the corner.

I hope you all will play along in the challenge and please don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's projects. Have a great weekend!

I have a personal GIVEAWAY going on right now here at my blog. Go HERE to enter to win a Peachy Keen Face Stamp set! Today's the last day to enter. I will be announcing the winner tomorrow!
