Merry Christmas

IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR THE PEACHY KEEN RELEASE PARTY CHALLENGE PROJECTS, PLEASE SEE POST JUST BELOW.

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at Digi My World and I have a super cute Christmas card to share with you. I used the Santa's Helper-Emily for this card. Isn't she adorable?

I colored Emily using Copic markers and added some Stickles to her headband and shoes. I used a white gel pen to add the dots on her dress and the highlights on the berries. I inked the edges of the mat in a light green and stamped the background stripe using Peachy Keen's Candy Stripe Background stamp. I added a bow to the bottom and some gems to the corners. To finish I added the stamped sentiment from My Craft Spot's Ornate Labels Christmas stamp set.
I hope you all like my card and thanks for stoppin in!
Have a great day!

Peachy Keen December Release Party Challenge

Hello everyone! Did you attend the Peachy Keen Release Party? How neat are the new stamps?!?!? They are one of those sets that will be used ALL the time! The stamps are now available for purchase at the Peachy Keen store.

Along with the Release Party, there is a fun Challenge for you to play along in. This month we are only having one challenge. And the theme is "BIRTHDAY" hosted by the super sweet Vivienne Holden.

I created my first card for the Peachy Queen herself, Kathy Jakopovich!

I stamped everything on this card using the NEW PKSC-24 December 2013 stamp set. I used Jaded Blossom's Layered Frame Die to cut the mats and colored the fox with Copics. I had to do this card in orange seeing as how that's Kathy's fav color! AND did you notice that 50? YUP, Kathy is 50 this month! But I will tell you, I have met Kathy and she DON'T LOOK IT! She is one SUPER SWEET BEAUTIFUL GAL!

And for my second card, I created this one for Miss Vivienne Holden and the sheer pleasure of coloring that fun hillbilly! It is also Miss Vivienne's Birthday too, I didn't think she would mind a FUN Hillbilly card...LOL!

I stamped and colored that funny Hillbilly from the Peachy Keen Hillbilly Holler Set One stamp set. I also stamped the side sentiment using this set and added a decorative paper clip to the mat. The bottom sentiment is stamped from the PK Eye Sentiments. I wrapped some jute string around the card and added a button.
I hope you all liked seeing my cards today and will play along in the challenge.
Have a great day!

PS- I hope you will come hop with us this weekend. Hop STARTS tomorrow HERE!

Santa Tag Gift Bag

Hello everyone! I have another sneak peek of the NEW Peachy Keen stamps being revealed tomorrow! I am really loving this fun SOTM set!!!

I made this gift bag with a tag to go on it.

I created the bag by using only 2 sheets of 8 1/2 X 11 inch pieces of cardstock! I scored the 2 long sides and 1 short side at 1 1/2 inches on each piece. I then cut into the corner along bottom of bag on each side of paper. The other piece I did the same thing to, except that I cut out the entire outside tab. Here is a photo for reference: This shows the bottoms of the pieces.
Now it's just a matter of gluing them together. I started with the middle bottom, then folded in the side tabs and glued the long side flaps together. And then you have a gift bag!

I created the tag by cutting a 3 X 5 inch piece of cardstock and a mat piece out of decorative paper. I did a faux stitching line around it with a black pen and punched a hole at the top for the tie.
I stamped and colored the Santa head using the Peachy Keen Santa Set and the "to and from" using PKSC-21 September 2013 set that I added to tags on the edges.
I cut out the calendar mat using the Jaded Blossom Layered Frame Dies and stamped all the elements onto it using the NEW PKSC-24 December 2013 SOTM set. I heat embossed the month, Christmas, and circle in white.
To finish, I punched 2 holes in the bag top and threaded some twine through that I attached the tag with.
I hope you all liked my project and thanks for stopping in! I hope you will come join in the fun tomorrow for the Peachy Keen Release Party that can be found on Facebook HERE. with the full reveal at 6 pm!

Cookie Gift Box

Hello everyone! I have a fun project to share today along with some Exciting News
I have been chosen to be a Guest Designer for Jaded Blossom next year! I will be Guest Designing for the month of January! I am super excited and just want to say thank you to Candace and Michelle for this wonderful opportunity!

For my project today, I made a cute little Cookie Gift Box for the Monthly Challenge at Jaded Blossom
This month the challenge is "Anything Christmas"

I cut the ginger from the SVG Cutting Files Holiday Set 1 file and stamped the face with a Peachy Keen Winter Wonderland 1 1/8 inch face stamp. I also added some stickles to his icing and bow. I added him to a 2X2X3 Inch Clear Box from Jaded Blossom and added a bow to the top. I stamped only part of the sentiments by masking around the parts I didn't want to use. The cookie sentiment from the JB Cookies For You stamp and the Merry Christmas is from the JB Holiday Treat Tags stamp set.

I hope you all liked my project and thanks for stopping in!
Have a great day!

December Peachy Keen Sneak Peeks

Hello everyone! I am sharing some sneak peeks for the Peachy Keen December Release! These are AWESOME!!! You all are going to just LOVE these fun stamps! This month's Stamp Of The Month set is so super versatile!

I created several cards to share with you today.

For my first card I used the new December SOTM set being release this week and an older PK set. He happens to be my FAV PK snowman and is from the Snow Me A Man stamp set.
I cut out the journal tab using Jaded Blossom's Layered Frame and Journal Dies and stamped the entire calendar using the December SOTM set. I also stamped the red circle and the arrow which I added on pop dots. To finish I stamped the conversation bubble and sentiment from the new set as well.

For my second card I also used the new Dec SOTM set. I stamped the deer, sentiment, and arrow. I colored the deer with Copic markers and mounted her on pop dots. I stamped the background with a new stamp coming out this month called Birch Tree Background and embossed it in white. I then used some distress ink and inked over all the white. I created a frame look by using the JB Journal Die and then did a stitching line around using my sewing machine.

For my last card, I used one of the new add on sets called Reverse Sentiments. I stamped the circle "hello" and cut it out. I mounted it to a scallop circle and fancy frames that I cut with my Cricut. I added some ribbon and used my I-Rock to add some Hot Rocks to the corners of the mats.

Head over to the Peachy Keen Blog to see more of these super cute sneak peeks all week long! And come join in the fun on Thursday December 5th at 6 pm CST at the Peachy Keen Facebook page for the full release party! There will be lots of inspiration, challenges, and prizes to be won!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping in!

Believe in the Magic of Christmas

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot. This week the challenge is "Sparkle and Shine" Create a project using glitter, gems, bling, etc.

This is the card that I created

This card is REALLY sparkley is person and it just would not photograph well. So you'll just have to take my word for it...LOL!
I use a digital stamp from the Digi My World Traditional Snowman set. I colored it with Copic markers and added some Stickles to the snowflakes, hat, and background.
I used a piece of glittery cradstock in the background and used My Craft Spot's Ribbon Banner Dies-Straight to cut out the banner. I stamped the sentiment using the Christmas Banner Sentiments and also stamped the little snowflakes using the "Ho" stamp out of the same set.
I hope you will all play along and please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created!

**********************************************************

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at SVG Cutting Files and I have a fun project to share with you. I am LOVING these adorable Chibi Kids Dressed as animals. I hope you're not getting too sick of them yet! LOL!
For this project I used the Chibi Kids Dressed as Jungle Animals. There is a set of 6, but I only used 3 of them.

Didn't these turn out just TOO CUTE! I love these cuties!
I made some fun little bags to give to some kids that I know. I thought it would be a fun little gift.
I cut the kids from the Chibi Kids Dressed as Jungle Animals and stamped their faces with Peachy Keen's Sweet and Innocent and Moodies face stamps.
I created the bag toppers using the Arched Card Base from SVG Cutting Files and made it the size for my bags. I used some clear bags and filled them with some crayons, notebooks, and chocolate. Gotta have some chocolate in there :D
I added a banner cut with My Craft Spot's Ribbon Banner Dies-Straight and stamped the sentiment using Peachy Keen's PKSC-08 August 2012 stamp set. I also added some twine bows to each bag.
I hope you all liked my project and thanks for stopping in!
Have a great day!
