Birthday Car Card

Hello everyone! I wanted to share this fun card with you. My friends daughters Birthday was the other day and she was going to be getting a new toy car for her Birthday, so this was the card that I came up for her. I even made the girl to match her!
I created the car card in my Gypsy using the car from B Is For Boy and welded 2 together. I also cut an extra front on blackout to layer behind the girl.
The girl was cut from the SVG Cutting Files Fairy Girl file. I liked the position she was in to fit into the car, so I cut off her crown and wand to make her a plain girl.
After everything was cut out and ready, I assembled the card by layering the girl half in and half out of the car. Then I added the blackout white behind her.
To finish I added some stickles to the tire centers and tail light. I stamped the sentiment from My Craft Spot's  Inside and Out Sentiments #2

I hope you all are having a great day and thanks for stopping in!

May Peachy Keen Sneak Peek

WARNING: PICTURE HEAVY POST!
In order to give you the full effect of this box, I took LOTS of pictures!

Hello everyone! I have a project to share that I did with the NEW May Peachy Keen Stamp Of The Month set that is coming out! OMG!!! You all are going to LOVE this cute set! I know I do! LOL!

I created this baby gift box for my project. I started with a store bought hexagon box and covered it with paper. The postage square mats were cut from B Is For Boy and the font was cut from Birthday Bash. The grass was cut from Paper Doll Dress Up and I did a white stitching line around the center squares.
Those ADORABLE farm animals are from the new Peachy Keen SOTM kit! I stamped and colored them with Copic markers and pop dotted them to the box.
To finish I made a paper bow, added it to the top and glued ribbon around the top edge of the box. You can find a great tutorial on how to make your own bows HERE. The only change I made was instead of putting it together with glue dots, I punched holes and used a brad to secure the whole thing together.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my sneak peek and if you would like to see more, head over to Peachy Keen where there will be sneak peeks all week long! And don't forget to come to the Release Party at The Peachy Keen Connection on Sunday at 6 pm CST where there will be all kinds of inspiration and prizes to be won!
Have a great day!

"Going Green" Whimsical Wednesday Challenge

I cut the green oval mat from Cricut Craft Room Basics and used a hole punch to punch the holes is the scallops. The hedge hog is cut from B is For Boy and I used the shamrock from Paper Doll Dress Up instead of the leaf he is supposed to be holding. I did some inking, chalked his cheek, and added Glossy Accents to his nose. The background was embossed with Seeing Spots and I stamped the sentiment which is from Whimsical Designs Whimsical Fun Vol. 1.

Sugar and Spice

Hi everyone! If you're looking for the I'm So Lucky Blog Hop please see the post below this one. I made this card for Getting Cricky's Sugar and Spice Simple Sunday Challenge. The challenge is to make something that represents Sugar and Spice, so this is what I came up with. I am so happy with the way this card came out. I cut the card using the last image in Live Simply and welded it in my Gypsy to make the card. I also cut all the layers at 5.5 inches. The sock monkey was cut from B is for Boy at 3 inches. I cut 2 hats and cut off the ball and bottom band and then pop dotted them to the hat to give it more dimension. I also cut that little purse at .75 inches from Paisley. For the outsides of the card I took a hand held flower punch and punched the flowers and then used my circle punch for the insides of the flowers. To finish I stamped the sentiment and added some black stitching. I hope you all are having a great day and don't forget to come back tomorrow for the Spring Bling Blog Hop!

I used a pin and turned my mouse pad upside down and pierced the paper for the stitch marks on the duck and layered mat. You can't tell from the picture but I added Glossy Accents to the duck to give it some shine. I tied a ribbon and bow and added a framed stamped sentiment. I hope you all have a great weekend!

Got Candy?

Good morning everyone! Today's card is for a couple of challenges. I am having a ball with Jitterbuggin's challenge this week. You have to create a trick of treater but you have to use 2 different cartridges to create him. This challenge has definatly got my creative juices going! For this card I created a trick or treater in Design Studio( I can't wait for my Gypsy to come)! I used the basic doll from PDDU and the alien costume I made using the alien from B is for Boy. I cut a circle in the middle for the boy's face to show through. The frames are cut from Once Upon A Princess. The star is on his alien suit and the candy is from the Cuttlebug set Disney's Trick or Treats. The sentiment is printed from my computer. I hope you all enjoy my card, it was fun to make! Take care!
The challenges I'm entering this into:
1. Jitterbuggin'- Sketch+trick or treater using 2 carts to create+a star
2. Got Scraps- Autmn or Halloween scrap page or card
3. Crafting With Cristina- Halloween with only using one but not both orange or black

Zoo Friends Mini Album

Fantabulous Cricut is having an animal theme shaped mini album challenge. They are giving away a Celebrations Cricut Cartridge as the prize, so I decided to make one. This is my first shaped mini album. I had alot of fun making it. I designed my book in Design Studio and used old cereal boxes instead of chip board. Most of the animals are cut from Create A Critter, even the double sided bird that is actually a tag and can be pulled up. Some of the other things were cut from B is for Boy (Kangaroo) and the branches from the giraffe page were cut from Hoot N' Hooler. I don't own a Bind It All, so I tied my book together with ribbon. I hope you are having a great weekend!
I had to post all the pics in seperate posts so please scroll down to see the rest of the book.

Jitterbuggin' Pastel Challenge

Hi everyone! I found a new challenge site today and decided to make a card to enter in their challenge. It's called Jitterbuggin' Challenge and they do weekly cricut challenges. This month's top prize is Sentimentals Cricut Cartridge! This week the challenge was this sketch (above) and you had to:
1. Use pastel colors
2. Add a cricut cut sentiment
3. Add at least one button.
So this is what I came up with. I used B is for Boy cart for all the cuts. I just adore this little zebra! I hope you all are having a great week! Take Care!

Ahoy Matey!

This week over at Paper Playtime the theme is Ahoy Matey, so this is what I came up with. The ship is cut from PDDU, and the boy is cut from B is for Boy. (I just got that cart and needed an excuse to cut this cute fellow!) The "Ahoy" is from Create a Critter and "Matey" is from George. I cut severall ships out in different colors to get the look here. I hope you all like it! Take Care!
