Welcome Baby

Hi everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week the challenge is "3D" Create any 3D project.
For my project today, I made this cute little baby gift bag. I cut the purse from a file from the Silhouette store and added the monkey which was cut from the Lettering Delights Welcome To The Jungle file. I stamped the face with a Peachy Keen In The Garden face stamp and mounted him on pop dots.
I created the circle sentiment using My Craft Spot's Tiny Doilies Dies and Stampin' Around Spring stamp set. To finish I tied a Milk Chocolate Crinkle Ribbon to the top.
I hope you will all play along and please don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's projects! Have a great day!

Toga Party

Hello everyone! This is my third post this month as SVG Cutting Files Guest Designer and I have a fun card to share!

This is a NEW file called Toga and it will be released on Friday. This is an add on file that goes with the Paper Doll files that you can buy now. These paper dolls are SO FUN! It's like when you were a kid and you got to dress up your paper dolls, but now they are for card making!

I made an old fashion step card for my card today. "Old Fashion" means I cut it by hand, but SVG Cutting Files offers a fabulous array of step cards that you can buy and simply cut out using your cutting machine HERE.
I cut out the girl using the Paper Doll Base kit and everything else using the Toga Add On set. I added a ribbon for her hair, a brad for the side tie, and stamped her face with a Peachy Keen In The Garden face stamp.
I also cut out the columns that come with this file and added them to the sides of the card. The sentiment was cut using my Cameo and a font from my computer and I added the leaves from the file to the sides.

I hope you all enjoyed seeing my card today and thanks for stopping in! Have a great day!

SVG Cutting Files August Challenge

Hello everyone! As the August Guest Designer for SVG Cutting Files, I also get to share a project that I did for the August "Anything But A Card" Challenge. Here is what I created: A Dog Treat Bag

This turned out so cute! I just love the cute cut files from SVG Cutting Files!
I used the Dog-Gone Cute cut file for my pup and hid the eyes. I stamped the eyes with a Peachy Keen Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed 1 1/8 inch face and gave him some spots. I did this by using a Versa Mark marker and colored in the spots and then outlined the whole cut in black pen. The treat bag is really simple to create! I will give you the dimensions for that:
Cut a 4 1/4 X 11 inch piece of cardstock and score at 5 and 6 inches.
I also cut a 1/4 smaller piece of decorative paper to layer over the top. I punched 2 holes at the top to thread the ribbon through to close the bag and stapled a treat bag on the back inside.
I tied the bag closed with some Cranberry Crinkle Ribbon and added the "dog treats" sentiment using My Craft Spot's Small Alphabet Metal Dies. I also added a tag to the bag that was stamped using My Craft Spot's Down On The Farm stamp set.

I hope you will all play along in the challenge and please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created! Thanks for stopping in and have a great day!

Monsters Inc. Birthday

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at My Craft Spot and I have a MONSTEROUSLY fun card to share with you!
I used My Craft Spot's Ghostly Greetings and Inside and Out Set #2 for the sentiment on this card.

Mike and Sully ( from Monsters Inc.) were cut with my Cameo and a blog hop freebie file from SVG Cutting Files. You could only get it during that hop....so if you don't have it, I'm sorry :(
I mounted them to a white mat that I added a black pen stitching line around the edge. The sentiment is a combination of My Craft Spot's Ghostly Greetings and Inside and Out Set #2. I taped off the "Halloween" and inked up my stamp. Then I removed the tape and stamped the "Have A Monsterously Fun". Then I used the Happy Birthday stamp and did the same thing with the "Happy" so I ended up with that fun sentiment. To finish I tied a bow to the card.

I hope you all liked my card and thanks for visiting! Have a great day!

You're My Main Squeeze

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week the challenge is a color challenge: Create a project using the color pallet below.

And here is the card that I created using this color scheme...

I stamped and paper pieced the orange using Peachy Keen's Faceless Fruit stamp set and the face is from PK's June 2013 SOTM kit. I just adore that innocent looking face!
I used My Craft Spot's 4 inch Metal Doily Die as my mat and some washi tape as accents on the side of my card and the sides of the sentiment banner. I tied some twine to the side of my card using some Twisted Teal Trendy Twine and stamped the sentiment using My Craft Spot's Tasty Treats stamp set. To finish I mounted the orange and sentiment banner on pop dots.

I hope you will all play along in the challenge and please don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's projects! Thanks for stopping in and have a great day!

Beach Bound

Hello everyone! I am back for my second post as the Guest Designer for SVG Cutting Files! Summer is closely coming to an end which makes me sad, but this fun cut file cheered me right up!

I made this card using the NEW Beach Bound cut file that will be release this Friday.

Don't you just want to go sit in that chair? LOL! This was such a fun file to work with, mostly because it's just SO CUTE!
I cut everything on the card using the Beach Bound cut file. I stamped the girls face using a Peachy Keen In The Garden Face stamp and gave her a few freckles. I inked the sand with brown and white to get the textured look and did a stitching line on the chair. I also did a stitching line on the umbrella and added the sentiment and stamped image using My Craft Spot's Tiny Doilies Dies and Stampin' Around Summer stamp set.
I am so happy you came to visit me for my second Guest DT post for SVG Cutting Files! See you next week for my third post!
Have a great day!

Kitty Birthday

Hello everyone! Are you ready for the weekend? I know I am ...LOL!
I wanted to share this card that I made using the NEW Peachy Keen August 2013 SOTM kit. This is seriously one of my FAV stamp sets. These little kitties and doggies are TOO CUTE!

I stamped and paper pieced the kitty and hat. I used a white gel pen to color in her tummy and the spots on the hat. I stamped the tuna can and colored it with Copic markers. I added some pennants to the top that I added a black pen stitching line too and stamped the sentiment. I embossed the background with the Cuttlebug Seeing Spots embossing folder and tied some Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine around the card.

Here are the new stamps in case you haven't seen them yet:

There is a GREAT SALE going on for 1 week at Peachy Keen, so go check it out! And don't forget that you have through Monday to play along in the Release Party Challenges going on now at The Peachy Keen Connection! You could win a PK Gift Certificate just by playing along!
