Peachy Keen Release Party Challenge Cards

Hello everyone! Have you seen the NEW stamps at Peachy Keen? All of them are now for sale! Can anyone say CAUUUTE? WOW! I LOVE all of these new sets!

I am sharing a couple of cards that I did for the Release Party challenges going on over at The Peachy Keen Connection. If you play along, you have a chance at winning a Peachy Keen Gift Certificate!

For my first card, this is for the "Flower" challenge hosted by Saundra. You can create anything, just include a flower somewhere on your project.
I stamped this ADORABLE baby from one of the new sets called Hey Baby. I paper pieced her outfit and colored her with Copic markers. I pop dotted the flower to her hat and heat embossed the same flowers onto the background. I also stamped the sentiment and added some simple banner to the side.

For my second card, this is for Glora's Shape Card challenge.
I cut the barn from Paper Doll Dress Up and stamped the silo with Peachy Keen's Brick Background stamp.   I created my shape card the old fashion way...I cut 2 of the same with one being on blackout, and attached them at the top. I cut out the center door and created a half door for my cow to look out of. I stamped and colored the cow head using the NEW May Peachy Keen Stamp Of The Month kit and just added a rounded piece that I colored a spot onto for his body. To finish, I added the grass and stamped the sentiment.

I hope you all will come play along in the challenges and thanks for stopping in!
Have a great day!

Peachy Keen Sneak Peek #2

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing more sneak peeks for the upcoming Peachy Keen Stamp release!

The first card I made using the Stamp Of The Month kit. I stamped and paper pieced that adorable little piggy and colored him in with Copic Markers. The bath is cut from Pooh Font and I added Glossy Accents to the water in the tub. I cut the fancy mat from Elegant Edges and added a black stitching line around it. Then I added some eyelets to the sides and wove the ribbon through. I finished by heat embossing the sentiment.

For my second card, I used one of the new add on sets called Female Floatin' Frog. HOW FUN IS SHE?!?!? I just LOVE this fabulous frog and I know my MIL will too! (She has a thing for frogs!)

I made the card in my Gypsy using the fancy frames from Elegant Edges.I stamped and colored the frog scene with Copic Markers and cut out around her leaving alot of the blue. I used my sewing machine and did a stitching line around the mat and stamped the sentiments.

I hope you all liked my sneak peeks and if you would like to see more, head over to Peachy Keen where there will be sneak peeks all week long. Then on Sunday at 6 pm CST, come over to the Peachy Keen Connection for the release party where you will see some awesome projects along with prizes to be won!
Have a great day!

May Peachy Keen Sneak Peek

WARNING: PICTURE HEAVY POST!
In order to give you the full effect of this box, I took LOTS of pictures!

Hello everyone! I have a project to share that I did with the NEW May Peachy Keen Stamp Of The Month set that is coming out! OMG!!! You all are going to LOVE this cute set! I know I do! LOL!

I created this baby gift box for my project. I started with a store bought hexagon box and covered it with paper. The postage square mats were cut from B Is For Boy and the font was cut from Birthday Bash. The grass was cut from Paper Doll Dress Up and I did a white stitching line around the center squares.
Those ADORABLE farm animals are from the new Peachy Keen SOTM kit! I stamped and colored them with Copic markers and pop dotted them to the box.
To finish I made a paper bow, added it to the top and glued ribbon around the top edge of the box. You can find a great tutorial on how to make your own bows HERE. The only change I made was instead of putting it together with glue dots, I punched holes and used a brad to secure the whole thing together.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my sneak peek and if you would like to see more, head over to Peachy Keen where there will be sneak peeks all week long! And don't forget to come to the Release Party at The Peachy Keen Connection on Sunday at 6 pm CST where there will be all kinds of inspiration and prizes to be won!
Have a great day!

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at My Craft Spot and I want to share a card that I made using My Craft Spot's NEW Cute Critters stamp set! This set is AWESOME! There are so many fun sentiments in this set!

The lion was cut from a Lettering Delights file called In Like A Lion and I stamped the eyes with a Peachy Keen Here Kitty Kitty face stamp.
I added a black stitching line around the mat and cut the sentiment tab at the top using From My Kitchen. I stamped the sentiments on the top tab and the sentiment banner with My Craft Spot's Cute Critters stamp set and attached the bottom one using a button and Twisted Teal Twine.

Here is this whole new set, in case you haven't had a chance to see it yet

How fun is the snail symbol on the mailbox?

For my project today I used the NEW Postage Stamp stamp set. This is such a fun and versitile set. All the elements are so fun.
I cut the snail, mailbox, and mushrooms from a Lettering Delights file called NO Place Like Home. I stamped the face on the snail using a Peachy Keen Happy New Year face and stamped the mailbox using My Craft Spot's Postage Stamp stamp set. The sun I created by using My Craft Spot's Lacy Banners Dies and stamped the face with a Peachy Keen Piles Of Smiles face. To finish the card, I used my sewing machine and did a stitching line around it, added a brad to the mailbox flag, and I stamped the sentiment banner using MCS's Postage Stamps stamp set.

Day 5 Of My Craft Spot's Release Week

Hello everyone! It's the last day of sneak peeks for My Craft Spot's new releases! Tomorrow we will be having a BLOG HOP with the full release of the stamp and die sets! There will also be a new stamp/metal die set set up for grabs at every stop in the hop.

Today we are showing sneak peeks of the new Feel Better Soon stamp set.
So for my last sneak peek project, I have a fun get well kit. I was inspired to make this when I found those super adorable Hello Kitty Band-Aid's! LOL!
I created the hinged box by cutting 2 simple boxes. Once they were all together, I cut a strip of paper the lenght of the box and 2 inches wide. Then I scored it down the center and attached the two boxes to it. Super simple way to make a hinged box.
For the front of the box I cut a 1 3/4 inch circle and quartered it for the corners and added simple strips to the sides and for the handle. I also cut a 1 1/2 inch wide strip for the closure and added some velcro to it.  I cut Hello Kitty from Hello Kitty Greetings and welded the nurses hat from Everyday Paper Dolls in my Gypsy. I stamped the RX in the center of the heart with the new Feel Better Soon stamp set and also the tag which I heat embossed. I attached it with some Black Trendy Twine.
The inside I added all the get well items by tying Cherries Jubilee Trendy Twine around each piece and glued them onto the backs of the box.

Thanks so much for visiting all week long for the sneak peeks! I hope you enjoyed all the projects I shared this week and have inspired you! Make sure you go to My Craft Spot for the daily prize and come back tomorrow for the BLOG HOP! There will be lots of great projects and a stamp/die set will be given away at each blog in the hop! Have a great day!
