Thinking of You

Hello everyone! Did any of you attend the June release party at Peachy Keen last night? WOW! The new stamps they have coming out this month are BEYOND cute! I can't wait to get mine!
Along with the release they always have a couple of challenges. So this card was made for one of those  challenges and Fantabulous Cricut's Don't Bug Me challenge.
I stamped and paper pieced the ladybug. I added some black stickles to her spots and inked around all the edges. The circle was cut from Plantin Schoolbook and the scallop circle was cut from Elegant Edges. I used a white pen and made a stitching line around the scallops. To finish I added the ribbon and stamped the sentiments.

"What's Your Age" My Craft Spot Challenge

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This time the challenge is Birthday "What's Your Age?" You must include a number in your project.
The first thing I want to say about this card is, CAN YOU BELIEVE I DID A CRITTER CARD WITHOUT PEACHY KEEN FACES???  LOL! But it sure did turn out cute even without  PK faces. I did this card with my nephew in mind. He won't be 1 until October, but at least I'm ahead of the game with a card already done.
I started this card by using my Gypsy and welding all the mat pieces together where I wanted them on my card. I then welded a square to the left side of my card so it would be one piece. Then I proceeded to cut all the layers for each cut. I mounted the #1 on pop dots to make it stand out and added a strip of decorative paper to the side and stamped the sentiments. The inside sentiment I stamped strategically to be behind the front of the card.

My Craft Spot- Birthday Wishes Stamp Set
Cricut Carts- Create A Critter: giraffe, hippo, palm tree. Sweethearts: monkey. Paper Doll Dress Up: grass. Birthday Bash: Number 1.
I hope you all will play along in the challenge. Please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created for your inspiration. I can't wait to see what you'll create! Have a great day!

Friends

Hello everyone and happy Friday! This is the card that I made to enter into Peachy Keen's challenge. This week the challenge is Just Cards. Create any card and link it up.
I just got some new PK stamps and the Wild Card 2 cartridge and couldn't wait to play with them so here is the card I created.
I stamped the cloud background and the swirl under the bee. The bee was cut from Wild Card 2 and I stamped the face. The flower was cut from Smiley cards and I stamped that face also. The pink flower part and the bee's wing I mounted to pop dots. I pleated crinkle ribbon for the grass and stamped the sentiment.

Koala Birthday

Hello everyone! I have a fun card to show you today that I did for a couple of challenges.
I cut the Koala bear from Create A Critter and stamped the eyes and mouth. The hat is also from CAC and I made a twine pom pom for the top of his hat. The blue background mat and white banners were stamped with a flower stamp that is from My Craft Spot's Butterfly Kisses set. The gray banners I also stamped with a Stampin'Up poka dot stamp. To finish the card I stamped the sentiments on the front as well as the inside. I also stamped more of the flowers across the bottom on the inside.

Grad Card

Hi everyone! The challenge over at Exploring Cricut this week is to use a cart that you HAD to buy and never use. When 3 Birds On Parade came out,  I HAD to have it! And guess what? I have used it ONCE! So this is the cart that I chose to use for this challenge. I even opted to use the font too!
I cut the graduate bird and stamped the face with a Peachy Keen face. The diploma was cut from Everyday Paper Dolls and I added twine to it and the grad cap. I cut the font and shadows and matted them to square blocks. The bottom strip I double matted and stamped the sentiment across the entire bottom. This card turned out so cute, I might just have to use this cart alot more! LOL!
