Celebrate The Occasion Challenge #41

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Celebrate The Occasion! This week the challenge is Birthday and use the SKETCH. I am SO sorry, but I somehow lost the sketch somewhere on my computer, so please check out CTO for that.
I made this card by following the sketch. I cut 1 1/2 inch squares of paper for my background. The cupcake was cut from Simply Charmed at 2 inches and I hid the face with my Gypsy. I mounted it to a double matted frame that I rounded the corners on. I added the bow and sentiment which is a clear sticker from my stash.
Please make sure to check out what the rest of the DT has made and I can't wait to see what you will create!

Also, just a reminder about the upcoming SNEAK PEEKS for Whimiscal Designs Stamps. The previews will start on Thursday ( 12/1) morning at 7 A.M.! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE these stamps so I hope you will come check them out! Here's a sneak peek of them!!! SORRY, Just a teaser!

Whimsical Wednesdays "Add Texture" Challenge

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Whimsical Wednesdays! This time the challenge is to "ADD TEXTURE" to your project. This challenge will only be open until Friday December 2 at 12 noon EST, not the normal 2 weeks. Why, you may ask...because we are going to be having a SNEAK PEEK BLOG HOP of the new STAMPS!!!! Stephanie of Whimsical Designs has her own line of stamps coming out and we will be showing sneak peaks of them on Thurs. Dec. 1 and Friday Dec. 2  at 7 AM EST and then a Reveal party hop on Friday night at 7 PM EST. One randow winner of this weeks challenge will recieve all 4 of the new stamp sets! The winner will be announced during the blog hop on Friday night. I just LOVE these stamps and I know you all will to! They are SO CUTE! I can't WAIT for you to see the cute projects I have made with them! So mark your calendars for Thur. Dec. 1st and Friday Dec. 2nd!

For my project, I created this card. I printed and cut the snowman and bunny from Snow Friends using my Imagine. I pop dotted the second layer to the hat and like how the sweater texture looked. The tree I made by cutting a simple tall triangle out of cardstock. I then punched A TON of snowflakes with a punch and folded them in half. I then started gluing them to the triangle in layers starting from the bottom and working my way up. I just LOVE how it turned out. It looks like real branches and the texture it created is amazing. I embossed the background with the Cuttelbug Snowflakes folder and the snow with Poka Dots. I inked white over the snowflakes and wrapped twine around the top of the card. The sentiment is a sticker that I mounted to white cardstock and added a twine bow to the corner.
I hope you all liked my card and don't forget to go check out what the rest of the amazing DT has created! I can't wait to see what textures you will create! Have a great day!

Scraptastic Mondays Challenge #3

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Scraptastic Mondays! This time the challenge is to create any fold card you like, but not a shaped card or A2 single fold. It must include ribbon, and a cut from a die, Cricut, or a punch. You do NOT have to use a digi, so please come check out the new challenge and play along.
For my card, I made a Criss Cross card. The tutorial can be found HERE. I just love this fold card and I can't believe that this is the FIRST time I've ever made one! I used Cindy's Digi Xmas Penguin and colored it with Copic markers. The scallop mat behind the image and the tag pull is from the Lacey Circles Nestabilities set. I tied a ribbon for the pull and added a strip of matching paper to the indside card.
Please make sure to check out what the rest of the DT has for inspiration and I can't wait to see what you will create! Have a great day!

LFIF Recipe Card Challenge

Hello everyone! Here is the card that I made for Peachy Keens LFIF challenge. This time the challenge is to make a recipe card and use a Peachy Keen face.
I got my inspiration for the girl from Miss Emma at My Creative Time. She showed how to print and cut the girl from Imagine Best Friends and stamp the face. So that's what I did. I don't have an E2, so I just flood filled the body with a skin tone and printed and cut it.
I made a Z Fold Pocket Card by cutting a 12 X 4 1/2 inch piece of cardstock. I scored it at 6 and 9 inches. I then cut a piece of cardstock at 2 7/8 X 4 1/2 for the pocket on the inside. I used a Sampin Up Poka Dot stamp and stamped the paper and cut and puched a trim piece for the pocket. I cut the girls body at 4 inches and her hair, shoes, and head I printed and cut. The only reason I printed and cut her head was to get the pig tails. I trimmed off the pig tails, glued them to the head and stamped the face with a Peachy Keen Wide Eyed Kids stamp. For her clothes, I used the Cricut Craft Room! I was able to size the clothes to her body. You are able to combine Imagine cuts and regular Cricut carts....I LOVE this feature in CCR! So I used the dress from Once Upon A Princess and the hat from Paper Doll Dress Up. I used a white pen and did some highlights on her dress and added some white trim to her dress and the ball of the hat. The list was cut from Christmas Cheer and I hand wrote Cookies at the top and some squiggle lines for the writing. I printed out the recipe and mounted it to cardstock. The gingerbread men were cut from Paper Doll Dress Up and I used white and black pens for the highlights and stickles for the buttons. I added a tab by punching an oval shape, folded it in half, and added twine to the end and slid it into the pocket.  I also printed the inside sentiment from my computer and added Glossy Accents to the girls eyes.
I hope you survived my EXTREMELY long post and liked my card! Have a great day and thanks for looking!
I am going to link this up and Robins Creative Cottage in her linky/stamp release party!

Celebrate The Occasion Challenge #39

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Celebrate The Occasion! This week the challenge is to create a project with a Thanksgiving theme and you must use a PUNCH.
I cut the turkey from Create A Critter and stamped the face with a Peachy Keen face stamp. I also used a black pen a did a stitching line around the tail. The background was embossed with the Cuttlebug Textile folder and I used a Fiskars corner punch and punched the corners. I also punched the leaves and added some to the hat and corner of the card. To finish I added a ribbon to the background and a bow to the corner.
I hope you all will play along this week and don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created! I can't wait to see what you'll create! Have a great day!
I am going to enter this into the Fantabulous Cricut Crawl challenge which is to make a fall themed project and use the colors Red, Orange, and Brown and at least 1 Cricut cut.

Hot Chocolate Mug Card

Hello everyone! Here is a project that I made for when little one's come to my house during the Holidays! It might only be hot chocolate and a chocolate stir stick, but when it's packaged like this they seem to think it's so much more! LOL!
I made one of these last year if you would like to see that post and where to go for the template, click HERE. I actually made mine using my Gypsy, the mug from Gypsy Wanderings, and some images from George and Basic Shapes.
Hello Kitty was cut from Hello Kitty Greetings at 3.5 inches. The "Merry Christmas" pull tab I made by welding 2 together and folding in half, also cut from HKG. I embossed the front of the card with the Cuttlebug Snowflakes folder and added a ribbon. To finish I added the packet of hot chocolate and a chocolate stir stick.
I am going to enter this into the following challenges
1. My Creative Time Throwback Thursday- Create a project that is KID themed
2. Scrappy Moms Terrific Tuesday- 3D project
3. Getting Cricky Simple Sunday Challenge- Tea time, create a project with a hot beverage theme.
