Jitterbuggin's Spring Fling Challenge

Hello everyone! Here is the card that I did for Jitterbuggin's challenge. There is a special fun challenge there this week and the winner will receive a Cricut Lite cart of their choice! It's called the Spring Fling Challenge and when the challenge is over people get to vote on their favorite 3 cards. So if you like my card I would love for you to vote for me between April 16 and April 19.

Now on to my card! The challenge is to follow the sketch, make an Easter card, and use a cricut cut somewhere on your card. I cut the chicks from Once Upon A Princess at 1 inch. The eggs were cut from Simply Charmed also at 1 inch. I cut 2 extra eggs and trimmed them down for the pieces on their heads. The "Easter" was cut from Robots and I hand drew in the designs for each letter and then colored them in with colored pencils. I also went around all the cuts with a black pen and pop dotted the chicks. To finish the card I stamped the "hoppy" with a Scrappy Mom Stamp and put a ribbon on it. I am also going to enter this into Creative Cutter Room's Spring challenge. I hope you all like my card and thanks for looking!

Whimsical Wednesday Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome the Whimsical Wednesday Blog Hop! If you are coming here from Cindy, then your in the right place! If not you will want to start at the beginning here! For my first project I made this refrigerator notepad holder. I cut a 5.5 X 11 inch piece of cardboard from a cereal box and covered it with pattern paper. I made a pocket for the notepad cut at 3.75 X 4.5 inches. I thought about gluing a notepad to it but then you wouldn't be able to replace it. This way you can replace the notepad when it's out of paper.For the picture I cut the frog from Paisley at 2 inches and the font was cut from Robots at .75 inches. I then took some old magnets (the ones you get in the mail with credit cards and such) and cut one in half and glued them to the back. This is a picture of it hanging on my fridge!

For my second project I made this card. I LOVE Hello Kitty....she's so cute! :) I just love scene cards and was very happy with how this one turned out. I cut HK from Hello Kitty Greetings at 3 inches and the sun at 1.5 inches. I chose not to do the black layers for the sun. The clouds were cut from Simply Charmed and the grass was cut from Paper Doll Dress Up both custom sized in my Gypsy. The mouse was cut at 1.5 inches from Four Legged Friends and I added a flower to his hands.

Peeps

Good morning everyone! How funny is this card? More Than Favors Wacky Wednesday challenge this week is Something Funny so I got this crazy idea to do a PEEPS candy card and this is what was the end result! LOL! I cut the bunnies from Doodlecharms at 1.5 inches and applied Fun Flock to them to give them the sugar coated look. I added the eyes and noses with a black pen. The "Peeps" logo was cut from George- the ovals, and "Peeps" from Plantin Schoolbook. To finish the card I tied a ribbon around it and added the tag which was stamped with a Scrappy Mom stamp. I am also going to enter this into Die Cuttin Divas challenge which is any kind of Easter cut. I hope you all are having a great day and come back at 7 pm EST for the Whimsical Wednesday Blog Hop! Challenge Card

Hello everyone! Here is the card that I did for several challenges. I cut the card and frames from Forever Young. I welded 2 frames together in my Gypsy for the card. I cut the bird and branch from Straight From The Nest at 1.5 inches each. I stamped the eye using one of my Peachy Keen stamps and also stamped the sentiment. Hello everyone! Here is the card that I did for Card Creations and More by C's So Saturday challenge.( That was a mouthful! ) For this challenge you were to use pattern ribbon. This was a SUPER quick card! I cut the cow from Create A Critter at 3 inches. I stamped the eyes with a Peachy Keen stamp and highlighted him with my white pen. For the background I embossed the blue with Spots and Dots cuttlebug folder. To finish I tied the flower ribbon and stamped the sentiment. CTO Challenge #7 New Home

Hello everyone and welcome to another challenge at Celebrate The Occasion! This weeks challenge is "New Home". For my DT card I didn't use ANY Cricut cuts at all! Can you believe it? This card was super simple to make and I love how it turned out. I cut a strip of house paper from a 12X12 piece from Heidi Grace. I then punched a border strip and mounted the house paper to it. The sentiment I printed off my computer and framed it in pink and white mats. To finish I added a ribbon. I hope you all liked my super quick card and will give this challenge a try! I can't wait to see what you create!

Hip Hippo Hooray!

Hello everyone! Here is the card that I did for Jitterbuggin's challenge. This week the challenge was to follow the sketch, add a cricut cut flower, and use pink and purple. I cut the hippo from Birthday Bash at 3.5 inches and stamped the eye with a Peachy Keen stamp. The flower was cut from Mothers Day Bouquet. I cut 3 different flowers at different sizes and layered them together and added a brad to the center and pop dotted it. The circle frames were cut from George and I stamped the sentiment which is a Scrappy Mom's stamp.
