I'm Back From Vacation!

Hello everyone! I am back from vacation but have a TON of laundry and other things to do (including getting a new cell phone, but thats a WHOLE other story!) but I wanted to share with you this reminder card I made for my son for when we were gone. I took an 8.5 X 11 sheet of cardstock and folded in half. I cut the kitty and food bowl from Four Legged Friends and the font from Robots. I'm sorry but I don't remember the sizes. He actually laughed out loud when he saw it and the cat is still alive so it must have worked! LOL! I left it on the kitchen counter and reinforced the bottom with strips of paper so it wouldn't fall over. I hope you all are well and I will hopefully be back in the swing of things soon. I've missed my crafting time! Take care!

Celebrate The Occasion Challenge #3

Hello everyone and welcome to the 3rd challenge at Celebrate The Occasion. This weeks challenge is Any Occasion using the colors Green, White, and 1 Optional color. I hope you will join in the fun!
For my card I welded 2 tags from Once Upon A Princess in my Gypsy for the card base and also a layer a little smaller for the mat. The flowers were cut from Paisley. I cut 2 layers for each flower and embossed them with my Swiss Dots folder. I also cut the circle centers from Paisley and used my Peachy Keen stamps to stamp the faces. To finish the card I stamped the sentiment onto an oval punched shape and tied a ribbon to the top. I hope you all enjoyed my card and I can't wait to see what you will come up with!

ON VACATION....SEE YOU SOON!

Hi everyone! Here are a few pictures from the last few times I went to Jamaica. I don't think we will be going to Dolphin Cove this time but I would LOVE to. I am going to be on vacation for the next 10 days! I would've LOVED to bring my Cricut with but I don't think my hubby would approve! LOL! I am looking forward to just laying on the beach anyways. I will have a post up next Tuesday for the Celebrate The Occasion challenge blog. Thank you all for stopping by and I will be back soon! Take care!

Fantabulous Cricut #48 Emboss It

Hi everyone! Here is the card that I made for Fantabulous Cricuts challenge this week. The challenge is embossing. I cut this butterfly from Straight From The Nest at 2.5 inches. I Fun Flocked the middle layer to give it that look. The backround I embossed with the Textile Cuttlebug embossing folder and went over it with blue ink to highlight it. To finish I tied a ribbon and stamped the sentiment. I hope to have 1 more post before I leave for vacation tomorrow! Take care everyone!

Simple and Sweet

Happy Sunday everyone! Here is the card that I did for The Paper Variety and Getting Cricky With K Andrew's challenges. For The Paper Variety the challenge was the above sketch and for Getting Cricky the challenge is ABC's. I designed this card in my Gypsy using George for the blocks and Robots for the font. The "blessings" was printed off my computer and I used my corner rounder punch on the bottom. To finish I tied a bow across the top. REALLY quick card, but very cute I think. I hope you all had a great weekend and thanks for looking.

Thoughts Of You

Hello everyone! Here is the card that I did for Always Craftings Whimsical Wednesday challenge and My Creative Times Throwback Thursday. For the Whimsical Wed. challenge you were to use the picture above for your inspiration and for Throwback Thurs. you were to use Walk In My Garden and include a flower. I cut the entire flower from WIMG. The stem was cut from page 103 at 1.5 inches. The flowers were cut from pages 90 at 2, 1.5, and page 89 at 1 inch. I folded the bottom layer down and mounted it to a pop dot. The second and third layers I folded up with the center being folded straight up. I then added a pearl to the center. To finish the card I punches a strip of paper and added ribbon down the center of it and stamped the sentiment. I hope you all are having a great day and thanks for looking.
