Peachy Keen September Sneak Peek Day 2

JADED BLOSSOM DAY 4 JUST BELOW

Welcome back creative friends!

How about that first day of sneak peeks? Pretty amazing, right? Well we have more!!

Welcome to Day #2 of sneak peeks for the PKS September 2014 Release!

Tonight our talented team members are sharing some outstanding creations using four new stamp sets that were originally designed and created to go with various other stamp sets or themes that have been previously released. Each month as Kathy begins her creative process, she takes sketches and ideas from a specific theme and runs with it. There's no way she could possibly include each and EVERY sketch or idea in every release, but some of them are just too darned cute NOT to make the cut at some point. This is where this release comes in. This evening you will see creations using the Haunted A2 Background, Birch Frame Background, Ballet Bears, and Smile Eagle.

For my first project, I used the Smile Eagle, Variety Faces 1 1/8 inch, and Birch Frame Background sets on my project...

I cut the tube holder using the SVG Cutting File Chevron Tube Holder and inked the edges.
I stamped the birch frame and colored it with Copic markers. Then I cut it apart and added it to the edges of the box.
I stamped and colored that adorable eagle and gave him a face from the new Variety Faces 1 1/8 inch stamp set. I added the sentiment to a banner and attached it at the top with a button and twine.

For my second project I used the new Haunted A2 Background

This was a fun project to make! I really had to put my thinking cap on for this one LOL!
I started by cutting the Gingerbread Head Handled Bag from SVG Cutting Files. Then I stamped and colored the background adding glitter to the edges, bats, and dots on the grass. Then I cut out around the background and placed it on the bag front. Then I traced around the background and trimmed the bag to be the exact fit. To finish, I added some die cut bats using Jaded Blossom's Halloween Dies.
