Peachy Keen February Blog Hop

Whoo Hoo!  The day has finally arrived!!

Our February Release Blog Hop is officially underway and we are thrilled to bring you the latest designs that are now available in our shop!

If you’re a subscriber to our Stamp of the Month club, then you’ve already received a little background about how this release came about, but for those who might not yet be subscribers, here’s a little more about this release in Kathy’s own words…

There is a reason behind 
this mixed theme.  My only grand-daughters are moving to Florida with their parents.  
My daughter and son-in-law gave me this news just as I was pulling ideas together for February.  It took over my mind and soon it all kind of CLICKED!

A labor of love and from the heart, the designs this month will be perfect for so many of your creative projects that we can’t begin to name them all.

For my first project, I made this Beach Pail. I just LOVE how this turned out! Isn't is cute?!?!?
I cut the bucket and shovel using SVG Cutting Files 3D Beach Pail. I added everything on pop dots and added the attached the shovel with the brad on the handle.
I stamped and colored/paper pieced the kitty and added her surf board to her hand from the Tropical Vacation Kitty Cat stamp set. I also stamped and colored the fish and sun from this set.
I stamped the faces on the sun and shovel using the NEW Kawaii Face Assortment. I LOVE these new faces!!! They just make me smile!

I also made a card to share too! I used the Tropical Vacation Kitty Cat for the surfing kitty, sun, fish, and Tropical Vacation sentiment. I paper pieced all of the stamped images and stamped the waves using the Scallop Rooftop background stamp. I added them to a die cut frame using Jaded Blossom's Layered Frame and Journal Die and cut the arrow from the SVG Cutting Files Tons of Arrows. The suns face was stamped using the Kawaii Face Assortment and the bottom sentiment from the PKSC-26 February 2014 SOTM set.
