Aye Aye and now for the projects!!
So I am going to give you a little background on what my project is about. If you're familiar with Pirates of The Caribbean The Black Pearl, you probably know this already. For those of you who do not, this is for you :)
Captain Barbossa is obsessed with apples. Why? Because he can't eat them because he's technically dead or zombie like if you prefer. He wants to taste an apple so bad, it about drives him crazy! LOL! Soooo, that is how I came up with this project.
I started this project with the Candy Caddy Die. I embossed the front panel with the Tim Holtz Woodgrain folder and then inked over the surface. I used a black marker and traced around the outer edge to outline it.
I stamped and heat embossed the pirate symbol using the Jaded Blossom Pirate Candies and added it to a black flag cut using the Treat Flag Dies. I attached it to a toothpick that I colored with a marker and punched holes into the top of the Candy Caddy to slide into. I also punched holes in each side around the toothpick and tied it closed with some twine.
I cut out Captain Barbossa and stamped his eyes with a Peachy Keen Make A Monster face stamp. I inked all the edges of him and added doodling to him with a white gel pen.
The boxes were cut using the Card Mat Dies and I stamped the Apple sentiment from the Harvest Signs set and the Take A Bite from the Villains set.
I created the candy wraps using the Candy Wrap Dies and stamped them with the Halloween Candy Wrap stamps. I also added the apples and "take a bite" from the Villains Candies set.
I hope ye enjoyed me project! Click the picture to continue on ye quest!
