Cupcake Valentine


Hello everyone! Here is a card that I made for the Simply Crafts challenge. This time the challenge is to use this capcake cut from Sweet Treats.
I cut the cupcake at 3.5 inches. I added twine onto the frosting layer by first covering the entire top with ATG tape and then rolling the twine around. For the heart layer I added a heart brad to the center and inked the edges. The bottom sewing line was done with my new Sew Easy. I couldn't wait to play with it. After I sewed the line I added white dots with dimentional glue. I stamped the sentiment and embossed it. That lovely saying is from Whimsical Designs With Love stamp set.

    I especially like the twine for frosting. Did you work the twine from the outer or inner edge? Wonderfully done. I posted as Happy Valentine Birthday Crad today using Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge cupcake2 today 1/9.
