Now on to my project!! Here is what I made..
I made this fun detective treat bag for my project
This was so fun to make and it turned out so cute! I loved being able to play along in the hop because I got a chance to create with any stamp set I wanted! LOL!
I started this treat bag with the Stitched Circle Dies to create the topper. I did this by folding a piece of white cardstock in half and then lining it up with the fold about 1/2 inch under the cut line.
For the mat layer I cut the circle and then layered it on my topper and folded it at the top where I needed to cut if off to fit.
I cut Mike from a past blog hop file and added some Glossy Accents to his magnifying glass. (This file is no longer available but if you don't want to miss out any of the future free files, make sure you're a follower of the Jaded Blossom Garden Of Creativity and SVG Cutting Files Galleria Facebook pages)
I cut the sentiment banner from the Mini Tag Dies and stamped the sentiment from the Top Secret Treats stamp set.
I stamped and colored all the candies and inspector's badge from the Detective Candies and mounted them on stitched circles from the Spring Dies. I also created an eye for one of my candies by simply layering punched circles.
To finish, I added the candies along with some paper shred to a 3 X 4 inch Clear Bag and glued the topper on.
Thanks so much for checking out my project! Make sure to go back to the Jaded Blossom Blog to see who is next in the line up!
