Warm Winter Wishes

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at Peachy Keen Stamps and I am sharing this sweet winter card.
Now that Christmas is over we can move on to some fun Winter themed cards!

Didn't this turn out just adorable! I love how the snow gives this card so much texture.
I printed and cut the house from the Miss Kate Cuttables Winter Lodge. I used my Copic markers for the colored highlights, Stickles on the trees and a DecoArt Snow Writer for all the snow.  
  I also added a brad for the door handle and cut a plain house shape for the back to create the shaped card. 
I stamped and paper pieced the penguin from the PKSC- 19 July 2013 SOTM set and added him on pop dots.
To finish, I added the sentiment banner cut with Jaded Blossom's Flag Dies 2 and stamped the sentiment using the PK-1449 Holiday Sentiments.

Merry & Bright

MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone! 

I hope you all are enjoying this special day with your family and loved ones. I am hosting this year so I have a house full and am probably cooking my butt off as you read this LOL!

I wanted to share the treat bags I made to hand out to the kids today.

These turned out so cute! And they were super quick to make up.

I started with the Jaded Blossom Fancy Topper Die and attached it to a 3 X 4 inch Clear Bag that I filled with M&M's. 

I cut that super cute snow girl from the SVG Cutting Files Holiday Set 1 and stamped the face with a Peachy Keen Happy Snow Couple face. I colored the eyes and nose with Copic markers and added some gems to her tummy. 

To finish, I stamped the sentiment from the Jaded Blossom Merry & Bright stamp set.

Merry Christmas Treats

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at Digi My World and I am sharing some fun treat bags I made using the digital stamp from the Getting Ready set.

I printed and cut the girl from the Getting Ready set using my Cameo and colored her with Copic markers. I mounted her to the Jaded Blossom Scallop Slider and Topper Die.

I filled a 3 X 4 inch Clear Bag with York Peppermint Patties and attached the topper to the bag. 

To finish, I cut the sentiment banner using the Flag Dies 2 and stamped the sentiment from the Elegant Holiday Greetings stamp set.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Happy Birthday Elephant

Hello everyone! I wanted to share the card that I made for my SIL's Birthday. I just LOVE this adorable elephant and I know she will too!

I stamped the elephant from the Peachy Keen Elephant Parade stamp set and colored her with Copic Markers. 

I cut the background mats using the Jaded Blossom Card Mat Dies and added a strip of pattern paper to the side. 

The sentiment bubble was stamped and hand cut from the PKSC- 24 December 2013 SOTM set.

Snow/Sky Background Tutorial

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at Peachy Keen Stamps and I am sharing a tutorial for a snow/sky background. 

Here is a pic of the card we will be making today.

SUPPLIES

Peachy Keen- PK-1443 Faceless Penguins

PK-1450 Faceless Flake and Christmas Tree

PK-1449 Holiday Sentiments

Momento Tuxedo Black Ink

Chalk Ink in light blue 

Stamping blender brush

Scrap paper

Scissors

Copic Markers

To start with the background, I stamped the tree from the Faceless Flake and Christmas Tree stamp set onto my card mat to the left side. I also hand cut a piece of white scrap paper for the stencil line for the snow. 

Place the scrap piece of white over your card in the center and ink up the blender brush with the chalk ink. Using circular motions, ink in the sky with the blending brush. It's ok to go onto the tree a little as long as you're using a light color.

When the sky is all inked in, remove the white scrap paper and there you have it! A snow/sky background!

Now you will color the tree on the background, and stamp and color the extra tree and penguin. Cut them out with scissors along with another piece of scrap white for the snow. This doesn't have to be perfect, snow comes in all shapes and sizes LOL! Do make sure it is the width of your card mat though. 

Ink the edges of your small snow piece with the blue and then you're ready to assemble.

I mounted the second tree, penguin, and snow on pop dots to give this card lots of depth. After it's all put together, the last thing to do is stamp on the sentiment from the Holiday Sentiments stamp  set. 

Here is the card all finished.

Happy Birthday Kathy!

Hello everyone! Today is Kathy Jakopovich's (AKA Owner of Peachy Keen Stamps) BIRTHDAY! We are having a birthday party over at the Peachy Place on Facebook if you'd like to come check out all the wonderful cards created for her and to wish her a Happy Birthday.

Here is the card that I made for Kathy using the Faceless Chicks....one of my FAV stamp sets! And I just HAD to give that cute chick a clown face LOL!

This turned out so cute! I really love these cute chickens!

I stamped and paper pieced the Faceless Chicken and stamped the face using the Clownin Around 1 1/8 inch face stamp.

I mounted the chick to a frame I had in my stash and rounded the corners of the card.

The sentiments are stamped from the Clucks Sentiments and Sunny Side Up Sentiments. I added them on banners cut with Jaded Blossom's Mini Tag Dies 2.

Here's To Spiked Eggnog and Mistletoe Kisses

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at SVG Cutting Files. This time the challenge is "Anything Christmas"

I made this tag to go with a bottle of liquor for my girlfriend for Christmas. 

This turned out so super cute! That sentiment and face on the snowman together just cracks me up! 

I cut the Wine Bottle Tag from the set that happens to have 7 different designs! I also cut out the snowman from the Chibi Snowman set and stamped his face with a Peachy Keen Happy New Year face. (These faces happen to be on SPECIAL this month! See all the specials at PK HERE)

I cut out the sentiment banners from the Jaded Blossom Mini Tag Dies 2 set and stamped that awesome sentiment from the Bah Humbug stamp set. 

To finish, I added some brads to the sentiment banner and tied a bow at the top of the bottle.

And now for my project!

Happpppy Birthdayyyyy! LOL! I LOVE Frosty and so that is who I chose to work with for my project!

I started this project with the SVG Cutting Files Fold Over Treat Holder. I cut out Frosty and gave him some stickle accents along with some highlights with a white gel pen.

I cut the icicles from the Jaded Blossom Winter Dies and layered them at the top of the bag, along the center, and across the window.

I punched out 3 circles for snowballs and added the sign that was cut from the JB Fall Dies. The sentiment is heat embossed from the Christmas Signs stamp set. 

To finish, I added some white M&M's to a 3 X 4 inch Clear Bag and stapled them to the inside of the treat bag.

Bowl of Gingerbread

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing a card that I made using one of the stamp sets that's on SPECIAL this month at Peachy Keen Stamps. I used the Gingerbread Bowl stamp set to make this card.

Don't those gingers make you smile? I love this fun stamp and it was super fun to color too!

I stamped the Gingerbread Bowl and colored it with Copic markers. I added highlights with a white gel pen and hand cut it out. 

I mounted it to a card base that I cut the layers for using Jaded Blossom's Card Mat Dies and added a ribbon.

To finish I cut the sentiment banner using the Mini Tag Dies 2 and stamped the sentiment.

Snowman Christmas

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at Digi My World and I am sharing this cute card I made using the Chibi Snowman digital stamp set.

I started this project by cutting the card from SVG Cutting Files Wavy Card Base. I printed and cut out the Chibi Snowman using my Cameo and colored him with Copic markers. I also added some Stickles to his hat and white highlights with a gel pen.

I embossed the background with a snowflake folder and added the snowflakes which were cut from the Jaded Blossom Winter Dies. I added some Stickles to the centers and heat embossed the sentiment in white from the Christmas Candy Wraps stamp set.

Cookies For You

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at SVG Cutting Files and I am sharing a cookie treat box I made.

This turned out so cute and will make a fun treat to give at the holidays!
I started by cutting the Simple Treat Box and added decorative paper panels to the sides.
I cut the ginger from the Chibi Holiday Set 1 and stamped the face with a Peachy Keen Snowmany Face 1 1/8 inch stamp. I colored the lines and white highlights with a gel pen and added chalk to the cheeks. I also added an eyelet to the head and strung it on twine connecting it to the bow.
To close the box, I used a store bought bow that had a twist tie back. This fit through the holes perfectly. 
To finish, I stamped the sentiment from Jaded Blossom's Milk N Cookies and added the heart cut from the Valentine Dies.

Here is what I made: A trio of Christmas gift bags

These turned out so pretty! I just wish my camera could've captured how pretty they really are in person!

I cut all the pieces of the Goody Bag Die in white. Then I used the Christmas Dies to cut out the images in the center of the mat layer. I kept the cut out also and then lined it up on the front and glued the cut out piece to the bag. After that was placed, I added the top layer on pop dots to get the dimension. 

To finish, I added Stickles to the edges of the mat along with the cut outs and added ribbon handles.

Hello everyone! It's Day 2 of the Goody Bag Die release at Jaded Blossom!

 I have a couple of fun projects to share! I know that Fall is pretty much over but I couldn't help making these cute treat bags!

Didn't these turn out so adorable? 

I cut out the bags using Goddy Bag Die. I added the mat layer to the pumpkin and another layer I cut smaller.

I stamped the faces using the Peachy Keen Fall Face Parts Medium. I used a white gel pen to color the eyes, teeth, and freckles. 

I added a leaf cut from the Fall Dies to the pumpkin. The sentiment banners were cut from the Mini Tag Dies and Mini Tag Dies 2. The sentiments on each bag is from the Lets Talk Turkey stamp set. 

To finish, I punched holes in the bag and tied some twine and raffia through them adding the tags.

Here is what I made using the NEW Goodie Bag Die

This new Goodie Bag Die is SO NEAT! It is perfect for treats, little gifts, or gift cards!

I made mine into a gift card bag!

I started by cutting out the Goodie Bag and the front layer. I glued the front layer on and then used a die from the Card Mat Dies to cut out the window. After it was cut out, then I assembled it. 

I cut the penguin from the SVG Cutting Files Holiday Set 1  and stamped the face with a Peachy Keen Happy Penguin face stamp.

The holly leaves were cut from the Christmas Dies and I inked the edges and used a white gel pen for the highlights. 

I cut the sentiment banner from the Flag Dies 2 and stamped the sentiment from the Merry & Bright stamp set.

To finish, I cut out another of the Goodie Bag front panels and used the Gift Card Die in the center. I added the gift card and put it into the bag that I filled with paper shred.

And now for my Project!!

I made 2 fun projects for you today! For my first project, I made this Tin Man Hearts Tube Treat Box

I love the Tin Man and this NEW Big Eyed Tin Man is TOO CUTE! He was always my favorite character in the Wizard Of Oz!

I started this project with the Square Double Tube Holder. I hid one side of the opening because I was only going to add the one tube but wanted a larger box base.

I cut the tree from the Apple Park file and added it to the front side of the box. I cut out the Big Eyed Tin Man and gave him a shiny heart using my I-Rock and some heart gems. 

I stamped the yellow brick road pieces using the Yellow Brick Road stamp set and added them to the bottom of the box. 

I also stamped the Candy Wrap Dies with this set and added them to Nugget candies. I added hearts to the centers of the candy using the Valentine Dies.

I stamped the oil can and sentiment from the Yellow Brick Road Candies and cut out the oil can.

I punched out the sentiment using a punch and added it to layers cut with the Candy Charms and Banner Dies.

For my second project, I made this Wicked Witch treat bag

Didn't this turn out so super cute? I love how the candy legs look on this project! 
I cut out the NEW OZ Chibi Witch and instead of using her face, I hid it and stamped it with a Peachy Keen Wide Eyed Kids face stamp.
I cut the topper using the Dainty Topper Die and attached it to 2- 1 X 8 inch Clear Bags that I filled with green Sixlets candy.
I stamped the sentiment and witch legs from the Yellow Brick Road stamp set. I punched out the legs stamp and added it to a tag cut with the Mini Tag Dies 2 along with the sentiment banner.
To finish, I cut out the witch boots from the Witch Boot Card Kit and glued them to the bottoms of the candy bags.
